Do you think that they will ever reinstate the dividend?
I'm still in. What do you think of $40 within two years..? Given that's a 100% gain from where we're currently at.
The one nice thing is that we have broken the $20.00 barrier finally and have closed above $20.00 for several trading periods. Let's hope we see this continue to rise.

With today's news, I think it can do more than $25.
CHMT up 2% today while most of the market is down. Good sign.
I still have some. Great news today.
Me too - I am hopring for a special dividend that alot of companies are issuing before the end of the year regarding the fical cliff crap. The Dem/Rep could not organize a piss-up in a brewery!
Looks like a big down day today. It seems like forever to get some gains and then bang she drops like a bomb.
Hopeing to sell between $23-35 as well but am waiting for next year to sell to delay for next years taxes
I still have some shares and have sold some shares over the past year.
I'm in since the early days (before Ch 11). bought most of my shares below 10 cents. had about 53,000 shares when they reached 1.8 $. was stupid enough not to sell...
Still have a profit of about 60% now. I consider all 3 distributions as pocket money.
With several analysts issuing price targets of 25$, I'm thinking about selling around 23$. still have 850 shares now.
sold everything at 19.50 and was happy to do so given climb back up from 10.
Recent quote from Mr R:
"We delivered a compelling performance in the third quarter of 2012 despite the lackluster economic environment with managed basis net earnings per share increasing by 67% and Adjusted EBITDA up by 24% compared to the third quarter of 2011,” commented Craig A. Rogerson, Chairman, President and CEO of Chemtura. “Each of our segments met or exceeded prior year Adjusted EBITDA. Perhaps of greatest significance, Adjusted EBITDA for the twelve months ended September 30, 2012 was $413 million, which is a record high for this portfolio of businesses since the formation of Chemtura.”
Record high EBITDA - WOW! - This is much higher then when they sandbagged the Judge. Mr R has gotta go! Thief!
"On October 23, 2012, Kevin V. Mahoney resigned from his position as Senior Vice President, Corporate Controller (Principal Accounting Officer), effective November 9, 2012, to pursue other opportunities. The duties of the Principal Accounting Officer will be performed on an interim basis by Stephen C. Forsyth, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, until the Company appoints a new Principal Accounting Officer".
Is there a good chance Mr R will replace him with one of his cronies?
looks like you got all the money on that sell - glty
I sold at the recent spike (18.20/share) and just took the hit, a loss in the low 5 digits. That hurt, but now I feel good to be out of this company.
Strange how certain future double-lung transplant recipients feel the need to blow every dime awarded (that was supposed to pay for the transplant) before they get it.....8 years after the fact no less.
Damn con artists.

amen brother - my divorce form Chemtura felt goooood but I have found another long term night mare - Lehmans -lol
I just want sell and get on mith my life - lol
Gosh, is there another distribution about to occur??? (that is a joke).
Truthfully this stock seems to have a yo-yo effect that it drops into $13-$14 range and then back up to $17-$18 range. Check over the past couple of years and I think that it has done 3 or four times. You can also watch those drops before they had stock distribution or qtrs being reported and then afterward the stock would start to increase again.

Biggest con man out there...well maybe not the biggest, but surely an honorable mention.
Wasn't it Lazard that severly undervalued Chemtura not long ago???

Wish our company was run like LyondellBasell Industries NV. I should have bought them when they were BK. Judging by the stock price they must have good management.
In other words, is it going to go up or down?
Well, if we knew that... :)
Good luck. I'm holding since I think someone will buy them at more than it's ever traded at sooner or later.
Don't know whether to hold or sell the rest of my shares?
Goo CHEM, maybe I can make my money back.
Sort of amazing how this stock seemed to fall before planned distributions at $13.50 from the BK and once distribution occured the stock goes back up. Funny I guess.
Decent earnings. Just another indication this company wasn't really bankrupt and screwed the legacy shareholders. There is no honor on Wallstreet or in the judicial system.
Any reason for the big jump in pps today?
And they still continue to compensate themselves with our money!
I thought Mr R was going to work his magic here!
Fuller, i can't send pm, sorry to the rest, many of us from here are now on the PCXCQ board if your interested, jackstraw, hfields, wallstreet61, lostball, and many more, more less the same kinda play as CEMJQ was, hope all is going well for you.
Down 75 cents after 1 hour to trading. POS

Coke at McDonald's
If I had 1000 shares can someone tell me how many to expect ?
Definitely an E-ticket ride.
I have sold all my final distribution shares, and have a pretty good profit to show for the whole saga.
Good luck to all here going forward.
Received $11 and 140 shares yesterday
sold them @ $13.43, cutting all my ties to this company
What a ride!!!
I got both shares and cash at both Schwab and Ameritrade, exactly in line with the final ratios posted. Escrow shares were removed from the accounts, indicating this in fact is a FINAL distribution.
The only loose end now is the tiny little bit of cash in lieu of partial shares, which always comes a couple days later.
Oh yeah! PAYDAY, BABY!
$36 and 107 shares. This changes EVERYTHING! :)
And thus endeth the CEMJQ saga...
Thanks, Schwab listed shares and money last night. Appreciate the heads up and thanks again to everyone who makes this board work.
Got a distribution late this afternoon. Shares only, no cash yet.
They could have done what Tronox did! They did the right thing.
Just a rant. That is what would have been fair IMO. I know the final distribution is all we will get but it should have worked out better for us than it did. It is shameful and they know it. Justice is never really served, just depends on who has the most money to make the best argument. In a perfect world things would have worked out differently but I guess we wouldn't have had the opportunity either.
That is a wild hope on his part - not happening. We are getting a final distribution - period.
Is this what we are getting or just what you are hoping for?
1 CHMT share for 4 CEMJQ shares sounds fair to me. Close to what it would have been had they treated the legacy shareholders fairly. The company was not bankrupt just caught in a credit mess that the shareholders bore the expense for. I too did well with this one but most companies that didn't fold did not profit from the BK process like Chemtura did and didn't slam the shareholders in the process. Reference PPC and Owens Corning.
No distribution yet. Talked to Scottrade last week and they had not received any information on a final distribution. Lets hope a pattern is emerging where Chemtura tries to throw the old shareholders a bone as the final distribution and someone throws it back pointing out their should be more meat on the bone.
The first bone 1.5 million. The second bone 2.8 million. Will we get a third offer??
