Charlie's Holdings Inc (CHUC)

My daily reminder - I said this before, I’ll say it again - I’m impressed with the CEO’s story, and with what FDA approval could mean for CHUC, and I considered making a sizable investment in the stock, but then… I did my dd, which everyone on this board should do as well.

CHUC’s annual sales are $22MM, Net Income is NEGATIVE $2.1MM (even worse, last quarter the company lost $6.8MM). Granted, FDA approval should help the top - and bottom - lines. BUT, since two weeks ago, the company’s stock price and overall market cap have gotten completely ridiculous.

For most of the last twelve months, the company’s stock traded at 2 TENTHS of one penny (a market cap of $30-40MM)… which was reasonable… and gave investors at least some potential upside. The Company submitted its PMTA last September… and likely expects an FDA answer by next fall. But now, out of the blue, for no reason other than the fact that pumpers all over this board are talking about a $.50 price target (which is not supported by any analyst report that I can find… and which would equate to a $14 BILLION market cap!) the stock has risen to ridiculous levels.

At today’s price of just over one penny per share, CHUC is valued at $200Million (10 X SALES)! Come on guys. I like the story and the management team at CHUC. A lot. But I know and you know that today’s CHUC stock price makes ZERO sense. Even assuming (optimistically and hopefully) that FDA approval is granted (which is a BIG assumption), CHUC is worth less than $100MM… which means ½ penny ($0.005) is where the stock should be trading! I am NOT short CHUC. I am NOT a basher. I am simply a student of the market who hates to see so many investors duped into buying a stock that is overvalued by more than 100%.

FDA answer by next fall? There is a 6 month turnaround. With Covid we don’t know if they will be held to the 6 month review which would be in February. Very few submissions so we don’t know.

Loaded more yesterday on that dip. Expecting fda approval by March 1. Filing spooked some yesterday because they didn’t read it in it’s entirety; but was just an extension of an old note. Paying $25k to push it back until feb 15 tells me they may be getting additional financing to wipe this note out to prevent dilution or fda approval before then. . Otherwise why not just let it bleed out ion Jan 1? I saw it as a positive so grabbed more.

Thanks. I have had no time to read the 8K. If anyone get's to it looking forward to the DD. CHUC is still accumulating nicely after our massive run to .0461 recently from subs. Other stocks have been getting all the big daily volume as of late but CHUC is due gain soon.

I agree. CHUC is a great investment stock.

For me I’m in until at least the FDA approval which would make this company one of a handful of companies in the USA that can sell their products legally. Very little competition which makes this a long hold to a dollar. FDA approval will take up to 6 months from time of application submission which land in February. Obviously, it can happen at any time.

If they don’t get approved, no one will. They are the first to submit their application with clinical trials. I believe the only one. Everyone else just had literature on scientific data, not human trial data. So if they don’t get approved, this vape market is dead. That is why the percentages are ultra high Chuc gets fda approval to move to market. And my guess is before Spring.

They’re real. I visited the management at their offices. If their PMTA is approved, they will gain significant market share in a growth industry. Also, the margins are great.

That rev is why otc has them registered as penny stock Exempt status. Ive never seen that before. But then again, I don’t buy a lot of pinks.
