talked to schwab. They have a trading desk for foreign stocks. They go directly to exchanges outside the county. Some little traded stocks do incur cost that must be recovered. Hence the fee on this one. TDA does not have a trading desk for foreign stocks and in the case of penny stocks they use the OTC. Hence no more costs than any US stock.

CAULF - Schwab is charging $50 to trade this stock. They say it is a foreign transaction fee. Never saw that before with them. TDA is not charging the fee. Strange.
