what kind of upside is there for a reverse merger with this stock?
CDVT maybe a new reverse merger coming, some one is definitely buying right here
It was highly disappointing
I think people are buying this because it is a clean shell of a company. That has value . . .

It boggles my mind why people are buying at this point. The last couple days with the bump in volume was strange. It's probably nothing. Here is to hoping for a pleasant surprise.
No one really knows what is going on.
This looks like a great low floater! Anything I need to know before getting in?
I don't know the angle why people are buying. How is CDVT going to make money after that ruling?
not sure if they do something it cheap if not pfft!
Lots of volume and bids @ .0023, maybe worth adding here?
yep would of been nice if they would of put future plans in the PR if they have any.
Yep. We were just hitting the .03's not that long ago.
no clue but trading .0023s now this sux
Wonder what the next step is now? More appeals?
it's all over? If not I'd love to hear where they go from here.
More appeals?
whats that mean?
So what exactly does this mean for the company and for the stock price?
Not quite. Investor meaning someone that knows the fundamentals, the business, and the current story of the stock. Someone here for the long term. Traders are those who buy and sell just based on quick trends. Now that I've clarified, what do you think?
Not sure what you mean by investors? Anyone holding shares is an investor.
You don't think investors are the ones selling at these prices right?
A few bid whacks the last couple of days.
Would love to hear some info on CDVT.
Come back Smit Dog!!!
You still following CDVT?
Will not take much volume to see .05+. Wish we had more current info. Great risk/reward play here for sure.
We are currently waiting for the results of the hearing that took place back on October 3rd. Check out the oral recording from the trial by clicking on the link below:

Should get you up to speed with our current situation here at CDVT
Will look more into it this weekend. Got too many things going on currently.
That's what I would think, but on who knows.
Not positive, I'm sure it's posted by the court first.
Does anyone know how the decision on the appeal first comes out? Are the decisions that are posted on the courts website the first it becomes available, or does it go reported a different way first?
That's what I'm in this for, the big score. Today's action is nice, but I need that good news to come for this to take off!
Yeah we will see what happens. Hopefully good news will spark that uptrend quite significantly.
Several dollars at least.
If CDVT was back in business with a valid patent, what do you think an appropriate share price should be?
Oh I know, I know! I was referring to blue chip companies basically. I'm saying that's how CDVT should be trading. Solid volume everyday.
Yes, but this is a real play. Not some scam. CDVT could really be sitting on a billion dollar patent claim for gift cards. Not many .025 plays can claim that.
To be completely honest, I think that is solely the main problem here. Nobody knows our situation. Days go by where there is no volume...that shouldn't happen. Look at any regular cap stocks. They could trade flat for the day but at least they are doing millions of shares in volume. It's because people are educated about those companies. CDVT needs this same transparency and exposure in the market.
Yep, I agree. Very few folks even know of the opportunity here.
Yeah BB, the pressure on this thing has been building up over a year now. Definitely feeling a tingly rocket sensation on the near horizon!
Yes, looking good. So hard to get shares under .05. The potential risk/reward here is amazing.
.025 x .0273 waking again
creepin back up here

Card Activation Technologies, Inc. is a Chicago-based company that owns the patent rights to a proprietary payment transaction method used for processing gift cards and other debit purchase transactions. Card Activation Technologies Shareholder Update |
Mr. Bob Kite, President and CEO of Card Activation Technologies Inc. (Pink Sheets: CDVT), stated today, "I wanted to take a moment to update you as to the status of the lawsuit involving our company and Stored Value Solutions, n/k/a Ceridian Stored Value Solutions, Inc. As most of you will recall, SVS filed an action in the Federal District Court in Delaware claiming that the '859 patent owned by Card Activation Technologies is invalid. Trial was scheduled for April 25, 2011. Unfortunately, right before trial was to commence, the judge in the Delaware Court asked that the attorneys provide additional briefing on issues and subjects raised by the Court. This necessitated a delay in the trial date. The current schedule is for all additional depositions and briefing to be completed by the attorneys on or before June 10, 2011. We expect a hearing to be held with the Court concerning all issues shortly after June 10. We also expect a trial date to be set shortly thereafter. We remain confident in our position that the '859 patent is valid and that we will prevail in this litigation."
