I'm surprised no one posted or mentioned the below here. If you want to know one of the reasons for the recent run, it has to do with the below article. One thing NOT stated in this link but clearly stated on Scottrade's article (which Scottrade unfortunately doesn't provide a link for but I'll cut and paste the news as it appears on Scottrade below as well). Cannabis Wheaton is going to be obtaining perpetual additional 5.5 million grams per year equating to additional annual revenues of over $40 million and additional EBITA of approx $30 million with NO CAPITAL OUTLAY as a result of this deal. All they have to do is help SGSC get their ACMPR license (which I'm sure that the co-founder of the recently-acquired RockGarden will have no problem doing since she got this license for her own company prior to Cannabis Wheaton acquiring them).

Cannabis Wheaton Income Corp. Announces Sustainable Growth Strategic Capital Corp. as New Wheaton Streaming Partner
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Dec. 18, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cannabis Wheaton Income Corp. (d/b/a Wheaton Income) (TSX.V:CBW) ("Wheaton Income" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has entered into a binding strategic alliance and streaming agreement (the "Agreement") with Sustainable Growth Strategic Capital Corp. ("SGSC") whereby SGSC, via a subsidiary, will become a significant streaming partner to the Company, and the newest participant in the Wheaton Licensing Program.
Pursuant to the Agreement, the Company will assist SGSC in obtaining ACMPR licensing (the "License") for its large energy-efficient facility strategically located in Scarborough, Ontario (the "Facility") which, upon receipt of the License, will make it one of the closest licensed producers to Toronto's downtown core. The Company will also assist SGSC in developing the Facility which SGSC anticipates will be approximately 145,000 square feet upon completion with the capacity for a further 200,000 square foot expansion.
SGSC consists of a seasoned management team with over 100 years of combined experience in delivering on large-scale power generation and construction projects. As a result, the Facility will provide several competitive advantages to both SGSC and the Company as SGSC has created strategic partnerships with both a qualified engineering, procurement and construction contractor to provide lower cost renewable and natural gas solutions and a co-development waste energy partner to provide all necessary capital expenditures. As a result, SGSC expects to yield over $6 million in energy savings for Phase I of Facility construction.
The Company will not be providing any capital to SGSC for the construction of its Facility but will assist SGSC in obtaining it's ACMPR licensing through its Wheaton Licensing Program by providing SGSC with all of the resources and expertise necessary to achieve the License. As consideration for its efforts the Company will receive a perpetual stream of 30% of all of the cannabis cultivated at the Facility (the "CBW Allocation"). The Company estimates that the CBW Allocation will result in approximately 5,500,000 grams of cannabis for the Company's benefit per annum once the Facility is fully built out.
Hugo Alves, President of Wheaton Income, stated, "The partnership with SGSC is a great addition to the Cannabis Wheaton family and platform. The team at SGSC are experienced entrepreneurs and are a perfect fit for the Wheaton Licensing Program. We believe this to be an accretive deal for both parties and it allows Wheaton to expand its product pipeline with no capital outlay as well as take on a platform partner that is located in a great strategic location."
Jim Beatty, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SGSC, commented, "We are excited to announce this transaction and move this initiative forward. It has been a pleasure getting to know the Cannabis Wheaton team and the entire SGSC team is looking forward to working with them on the next chapter of our journey through to regulatory licensing. We believe the Wheaton team will continue to add value to our business and the Wheaton model will allow us to leapfrog early-stage competitors by leveraging their unique platform."
Hi DBrown. I'm not sure what your opinion of near-term is, but per their investor presentation (which I'm calling IR tomorrow to let them know that they need to update), they expect 2019 YE run rate of >115,000 kg, so by my quick back of the envelope #'s, that's 115 million grams at an average selling price of $7.75/gram and adjusted EBITA of $5.25/gram sold, so it seems to me that we're looking at adjusted EBITA of >$600 million in 2019. The way I'm reading it, could I be off by some portion of a year? Sure, but I think the bottom line is that within the next 12 months maximum, they'll be generating a substantial amount of revenues as well as cash flow. I also don't believe that this includes any potential production from RockGarden. Even if some of the build-outs/expansions take longer than expected, Cannabis Wheaton's overhead is extremely low due to the nature of their business model so I'm not worried about that at all.
You obviously don't know what a "shares for debt" settlement is. They don't "need to sell shares to pay for their settlement", they're issuing shares to the creditors to settle the debt, hence the reason an exact share count was stated in the article you you posted and also why the completion of the deal has to be approved by the Toronto Venture Exchange. If that's the best misinformation you can come up with, I feel great about my large position here.
While it’s a good reason, the pps here is wholly because of the management. Revs still seem a ways off.
Respectfully.
The market has known about that release for over a month now.
The PPS has increased by 30% since.

Cultivating the Cannabis Lifestyle: Canadian Cannabis Players Gear Up for Recreational Marijuana Legalization
Another Canada-based entity is contributing to Canada’s cannabis market in a more unique way. Cannabis Wheaton Income (TSX.V: CBW) (OTCQB: CBWTF) (d/b/a Wheaton Income) is an asset management company that is engaged in investing and supporting a wide variety of licensed cannabis producers in Canada. Cannabis Wheaton has created a platform through which LPs (licensed cannabis producers) and LP applicants can obtain CapEx financing to build or expand their marijuana cultivation facilities.
In exchange, Cannabis Wheaton receives a combination of equity in these streaming partners and a percentage of their cultivation yields over a certain period of time and at negotiated prices per gram. In addition to providing its partners with the funding they need, Cannabis Wheaton also gives them access to its expert management team, which is composed of industry leaders, to assist them in accelerating the growth of their enterprises.
Cannabis Wheaton foresees the worsening problem of cannabis shortages in Canada while marijuana producers race to meet the demands of authorized medical cannabis patients and to also get ready for the increased demands that will come with recreational legalization. Through supporting the successful development of Canadian cannabis producers, Cannabis Wheaton aims to foster the growth of a diverse, robust, innovative and successful cannabis industry.
As the legalization of recreational marijuana use looms in Canada and as public acceptance and legalization move forward throughout the world, the named companies are gearing up for a Canadian cannabis boom that is sure to be substantial. As the cannabis lifestyle gradually takes hold throughout the world, these players are in prime position to profit and expand.

Canada faces one last hurdle to becoming the first G7 nation to legalize recreational marijuana.
Canada's Cannabis Act was introduced in the Canadian Senate Tuesday November 28th,2017, its last legislative stop. The bill enjoys wide public support and the backing of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
"I think it is broadly recognized that criminalizing cannabis has been a failure," said Senator Tony Dean of Ontario, a sponsor of the bill. He believes it will pass by July 2018, if not before.

$CBW $CBWTF We are overdue for a run IMO. Cannabis Wheaton buys Carleton Place pot producer RockGarden. The company received the agency’s permission to start cultivating cannabis in late August and is aiming to have a growing capacity of 20,000 square feet by the time marijuana is slated to be legalized for recreational use in July 2018. That’s enough space to produce about 1,300 kilograms of cannabis a year. http://www.obj.ca/article/chuck-rificis-cannabis-wheaton-buys-carleton-place-pot-producer-rockgarden
RockGarden is a medical grade cannabis producer located in Carleton Place, Ontario. It has completed phase 1 of 3 of its production facility and has notified Health Canada that the requirements necessary for the granting of a license under the ACMPR have been completed.
RockGarden announced a new financing round on August 18, 2017 to expand its cannabis production plant. This expansion will allow RockGarden to increase annual production from 220 kilograms of dried flower to approximately 2,080 kilograms.

Constellation Brands, the maker of Corona beer and Svedka vodka, has purchased a nearly 10% stake in Canopy Growth Corporation for close to $200 million. This is the first time we’ve seen a major beer manufacturer enter the cannabis space, but it won’t be the last.
I came aboard in the .92-.93 area. I then watched it dive into the low .80’s and added.
While my timing is rarely right on, I am comfortable with the PPS recovery since that low and remain long.
JMO— 2018 is going to be a strong one for all legitimate players in this sector.

$CBX As per those Cannabis Wheaton pharmacy agreements ...take a look at the job postings at shoppers drug mart!?!? Sr. Brand Manager, Medical Cannabis in Toronto Ontario Canada | Corporate Pharmacy Jobs at Shoppers Drug Mart / Pharmaprix

Here's the best part of this: his assumptions are based on on 50 grams per sq foot. Take your pick but based on what the company has stated the # of grams/sq ft, it's substantially higher than this projection:
From blog post referenced: "First, CBW is forecasting its production capacity via its partnership streaming interests to be 1.3 million square feet. Industrial scale production can yield up to 50 grams per square foot which would take annual production to approximately 65 million grams."
From the most recent investor presentation, company projections are substantially higher than 50 grams per 100 sq feet. Much closer to 85-100 grams per sq foot. So take the revenue and ebita projections in his blog entry and basically double them to get a baseline, then apply the multiple.
"2. Multiple streams across Canada with anticipated 2019 year end annual runrate production of >115,000 kg."
*Effective Square Feet is calculated is by taking the physical square footage and multiplying by a
factor based on the expected productivity of the facility versus the industry average. The industry
average we have used is 100 grams produced annually per square foot. Square footage for the peer
group is based on current facilities and/or announced expansion capacity"

$CBW "With a market capitalization around $82 million, ABcann presents great value for Cannabis Wheaton and should be on the radar of investors in this space. Other Canadian licensed producers carry much higher market valuations. Even at a C$2.25 per share valuation (about $180 million US market cap) ABcann still represents a compelling value in the industry with many licensed producers commanding valuations two to four times higher."

Looks bang on to me nice work and thank you for sharing!!
My personal opinion is that it will like fall between 10-12X estimated 2019 EBITA which would represent a 1100%-1300% s increase from the current share price of ~.80 which I think would work for most people over the course of the next 2-3 years.
Assumptions;
1) Per page 16 of 23 of the Investor Presentation PDF, their target EBITA/ gram is >$5.25 so I'm going to call it $5
2) 2. Multiple streams across Canada with anticipated 2019 year end annual runrate production of >115,000 kg x 1000 = 115,000,000 grams
3) CURRENT CONSENSUS AMONGST THE EQUITY RESEARCH COMMUNITY IS TO VALUE LICENSED PRODUCERS AT AN ENTERPRISE VALUE (EV) OF 4-10X 2021E EBITDA.
4) ROYALTY COMPANIES WITH SIMILAR MODELS IN THE MINING SPACE TYPICALLY TRADE AT AN AVERAGE OF 19X FORWARD EBITDA VS 7X FOR THEIR OPERATING PEERS.
5) Exchange rate: 0.814368 USD. Sep 19, 2017
6) $575,000,000 x 5 times 2019 EBITA =$2,875,000,000 market cap /estimated 500 million shares = $5.75/share x 0.814368 USD = $4.68/share = 585% current value
$575,000,000 x 10 times 2019 EBITA = $5,750,000,000 market cap / estimated 500 million shares = $11.50/share x 0.814368 USD = $9.37/share = 1,171% of current value
$575,000,000 x 15 times 2019 EBITA = $8,625,000,000 market cap /estimated 500 million shares = $17.25/share x $ 0.814368 USD = $14.05/share = 1,756% of current value
$575,000,000 x 19 times 2019 EBITA = $10,925,000,000 market cap / estimated 500 million shares = $21.85/share x 0.814368 USD = $17.79/share = 2,274% of current value ***note that this is the average multiple that streaming companies like Cannabis Wheaton typically command***
***The valuations above give Cannabis Wheaton no credit for the ownership interest that they obtain in each streaming partner's company in addition to the marijuana stream. The ownership %'s range from 10-50% depending on the risk profile and streaming partner and structure of each streaming deal
***A couple of areas where I'm being conservative across the board includes reducing their EBITA per gram by > 5% from their estimate of $5.25
***All of the other comparable companies are being valued on a multiple of 2021 EBITA however I can only extrapolate through 2019 for Cannabis Wheaton. We'd assume that Cannabis Wheaton's 2021 EBITA will be higher than 2019's but I'm giving them credit for zero EBITA growth for the last two years of 2020 and 2021
***The industry average is 100 grams produced per sq ft. and presentation states that they anticipate 1.4 million sq ft so that would equate to 140,000,000 grams produced per year but the company is estimating >115,000,000 so there is potentially a 25,000,000 gram level of safety
***Cannabis Wheaton is a pure streaming company which, if the industry average for metal mining companies are truly trading at an average 19x 2021 EBITA, there is a good probability Cannabis Wheaton could trade at a higher multiple as mining producers royalty streams are limited to the life of the mine whereas Cannabis Wheaton's streams are all guaranteed for 99 years
***There are currently approx 335,000,000 fully-diluted shares outstanding. This includes a 35 million share issuance announced today. I'm estimating that the company will issue another 165 million shares for a total of 500 million total shares, for the purposes which is I feel is extremely conservative
I'd be interested in any feedback from anyone wants to provide any analysis or point out any errors in my figures
See All $CBW streaming partners on page 18 and take a look at page 20...also take a look at what the 2019 footprint sq.ft will be..to give you an idea of potential IMO, it's more then canopy growth http://cannabiswheaton.co/images/CW_Deck.pdf

It was brilliant that Cannabis Wheaton ( $CBW) has such an agreement with Abcann IMO because it has a game changer computer-controlled growing platform that helps it produce in excess of 250 grams of cannabis per square foot each year, placing it among the highest yields within the Canadian sector. ABcann has not had any product recalls. In late July, the company provided an update on these construction efforts, noting that its plans to commence construction at the Kimmett facility remain on track for the third quarter of 2017, with first cultivation from the facility expected in the fourth quarter of 2018 and this will benefit Cannabis Wheaton with revenues IMO. http://www.abcannglobal.com/Kimmett-Facility.php
