Folks, I predict we are about to see much more interest in the QBL/MCL connection. The MCL subsidiary has formed a partnership to produce pharmacological grade cannabis and products at just the right time. In addition, we know MCL will have news soon regarding some sort of combination with another cannabis company. That news was already delayed once, but it should be close now.

Now, consider this:

On June 7 the World Health Organization (WHO) will release new information about the “global opinion” on marijuana. This report could cause a huge wave of media (and pot stock) interest. Overnight! Opinions on marijuana are changing quickly all over the world. To put this in perspective, think of this as owning one of the first plots of land on which oil was first discovered back in the day.

That is how big this new wave of marijuana legalization is likely to be.

The report did not explain the significant value of MCL’s unique seed bank, being one of the only recognised local lawful sources of cannabis genetics in Australia, and with over 25 unique varieties of cannabis that Andrew has been cultivating in his research over the past two decades.

MCL update on HEMP; 8 products (so far) and leading player.

We began marketing and retailing our VitaHemp product range on our 24hr online Retail store website, as we knew that we could confidently fill all our orders from our first Hemp Seed crops. We have been approached, and are in discussion with many Retailers, and as announced began supplying our first bulk ingredient order to Red Tractor last month. Coles and Red Tractor were very happy that the product has been received warmly, selling out in many stores.


We have begun supplying our Black label Hemp Seed Oil products to other Retailers so that the brand receives consumer recognition and we are very confident to meet demand, in line with our product distribution and marketing strategies. Once our upgrades at HHC are completed, we will have the capacity to meet the demands of both small and large Consumer Staple Retail companies in Australia.

Speculations on HotCopper Forum today - here is one example;


Mcl will Aquire the licence or even the company Berleigh heads don’t mind my spelling. During the process while we have the licence we will make a deal with other companies to take a percentage of there shares in order for them to use our licences. We will also provide them the seeds in exchange for there land to grow the seeds, we will become the sole distributor as exchange for the use of the licence.


So creating a monopoly while that is all happening we will be working with woolies and amazon to sell our products. Maybe throw in Costco and Aldi while we are there possibly a CR to fund the acquisition in exchange for more Mcl shares. Then sell the bauxite business to the Chinese and rename.
Then do a 10 for 1 split.


We will have to wait a bit longer - though I think it will be worth it.
The scenario above is one thought, another is QBL will by the minority post of shares from MCL, Medical Cannabis Limited. 5 trading days or less and will see what kind of significant deal has been made now.

In jurisdictions where recreational cannabis use is legal, traditional selective breeding techniques have been used to develop thousands of new cannabis varieties or strains. With the recent enactment of legislation that permits the cultivation of medicinal cannabis in Australia, we are likely to see growth in the commercial development of new cannabis varieties with specific therapeutic traits, as opposed to recreational traits (e.g., euphoria or creativity).

I think this will be (or is) of most importance in the growing Medical Marijuana industry. Patent and unic genetic strains, if you have the access to the right types of the cannabis strain, you want to protect your intellectual property as well as the specific strains. With the research in this field, patents will be necessary to protect what can be worth millions. QBL/MCL is partnering and doing deals with 10 different business partners (if I`m not misstaking on the number) - they are well setup for one or two homeruns, if we see to probability of the diversification they are choosing as a businessmodel.

To understand the question of why QBL was selected to become a partner; management and Andrew Kavasilas (cannabis expert with 20 years experience) knew each other from the past.

I reckon MCL understood it was a to big piece to chew of to start on there own; it cost a lot to register a company on the stockexchange, they had no revenue when approached QBL, to join a company who is listed on the stockexchange - who where willing to cut a deal despite it`s not in there sector... that makes sense to me.

A lot of business end up in confidence; the personal connections between Andrew and QBL management was a cruical thing. Now a bit more then a year later - QBL subsidiary are generating revenue (they are selling more then they can supply at the moment!) threw hemp with a set of various (8) products.

Consider revenue from MMJ is the next step - things look really good.
To come in on the groundfloor at this setup, I feel gratefull. As I see it at the end of the day; the potential is gigantic. The risk is small when you evaluate the facts; revenue coming in and business are growing.

Canntab Therapeutics; two MMJ DEVELOPMENTS and updated news.

Canntab Therapeutics Limited (CSE: PILL) (“Canntab” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce two recent developments: (i) an update on its application for a Dealer’s License with Health Canada; and (ii) its Australian joint venture partner has obtained a license to import medical cannabis products.

The Company has engaged an experienced consultant for the purposes of finalizing and submitting an application to obtain a Health Canada Dealer’s License (“Dealer’s License”) under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (“CDSA”) and its associated regulations. The Dealer’s License will allow Canntab to continue with the development of its proprietary products including the XR Tablet and will allow Canntab to manufacture and sell the products in Canada and elsewhere.


Further, the Dealer’s License, when combined with an export permit that the Company intends to apply for after receiving its Dealer’s License, will allow the Company to export its proprietary Extended Release Tablet (“XR Tablet”) to certain international markets. Trevor Moore, a veteran of the Canadian medical cannabis industry, has been retained by the Company to assist in preparing its application for a Dealer’s License. Mr. Moore has previously helped two Licensed Producers obtain their licenses, and is an expert in the areas of quality assurance, regulatory compliance and government relations.


Australian Joint Venture
Canntab entered into a joint venture agreement with Queensland Bauxite Ltd. (“QBL”) and its wholly owned subsidiary Vitacan Pty Ltd. (“Vitacan”) (the “Joint Venture Agreement”) pursuant to the Joint Venture Agreement the parties shall manufacture, distribute and sell Canntab’s proprietary products including its XR cannabis tablets in Australia. The Joint Venture may extend to other territories in Asia. Pursuant to the Joint Venture Vitacan has agreed to contribute the
first $1,000,000 US of capital required by the Joint Venture.


“We are very excited to expand Canntab’s business to the Australian market which is a very progressive market for the development and sale of marijuana and marijuana products,” said Jeffrey Renwick, the CEO of Canntab.
Australian JV Partner Obtains Import License
The Company’s Australian joint venture partner, Queensland Bauxite Ltd. (“Queensland Bauxite”) and its subsidiary, Medical Cannabis Limited (“MCL”), recently announced that MCL entered into a binding memorandum of understanding (“MOU”) with Burleigh Heads Cannabis (“BHC”), which holds an import license issued by the Australian Office of Drug Control. Under the terms of the MOU, BHC will provide the import and storage services for MCL’s international medical cannabis products.

Canntab's portfolio now includes 11 patent applications in the United States and internationally. These filings, which include 7 non-provisional US patent application and 4 PCT patent applications, build on Canntab's growing intellectual property portfolio, which already included 7 provisional US patent applications and 10 trademark applications in the United States and Canada. The patent applications that were filed pertain to a variety of Canntab's innovative technologies related to oral dosage formulations of pharmaceutical cannabis, including:

Australian Company Seeks To Import Medical Cannabis Tablets.


QBL subsidiary MCL has inked a deal with Canada’s Canntab Therapeutics to bring Canntab XR tablets into Australia. The tablets are designed to deliver cannabinoids over a number of hours and have varying levels of THC and/or CBD. The company says the tablets take the guesswork out of cannabis medicines, which will make doctors more comfortable in prescribing them.


The enthusiastic announcement from QBL regarding the joint venture agreement claims Canntab is a “game-changing” medicine. “Everyone knows someone who could benefit from this new technology,” said Pnina Feldman, QBL Executive Chairperson. Canntab CEO Jeff Renwick says the deal enables the company to bring a significant advancement in cannabis-based medicines to Australia.


The QBL subsidiary MCL will now need to work towards securing the necessary approvals in order to import the product into Australia, which it is confident in obtaining. The company will also have first rights to distribute the products throughout Asia.


“We believe that the patents filed and pending protects key features of our IP, and positions Canntab to be the definitive Cannabis delivery method of choice among the established medical professions and ever- expanding number of Australians using cannabis every day for medical purposes, and an even greater number who would find benefits from its use,” states the announcement.


Each of Canntab’s five products is available in different dosage levels (2.5mg, 5mg, and 10mg) and in instant and stable extended release. The extended-release products are designed to release the active pharmaceutical ingredient at a predetermined rate in order to maintain a constant concentration over a specific period of time; which could be up to 18 hours.


Four of the products contain THC or THC and CBD, while Canntab “Yellow” tablets only contain CBD. It’s been a busy couple of weeks for Medical Cannabis Limited. Late last month we reported it had teamed up with Australia’s Algae.Tec Ltd (ASX:AEB) in a project researching cannabis-based veterinary medications.

QBL ANNOUNCEMENT; Close to SIGN DEALS and PARTNERSHIP with Chinese.

Sydney, April 26, 2018 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Members of the Queensland Bauxite (ASX:QBL) (or "the Company") management team responsible for the development of the South Johnstone Bauxite Project, headed by QBL's Chief Geoscientist Dr Robert Coenraads PhD, as part of its ongoing marketing strategy, and as part of the operational plan under the existing granted Mineral Development Licence on South Johnstone, are currently visiting several Chinese bauxite refineries and aluminium smelters whose executives have expressed interest in partnering in the development of our South Johnstone Bauxite Project.

The QBL team is also meeting with Hong Kong based metals marketing platforms who have offered to assist in the commodity trading with QBL.

The timing of this visit is opportune as aluminium prices are forecast to grow strongly in 2018 and 2019, according to the Aluminium, alumina and bauxite, Resources and Energy Quarterly, December 2017 published by the Office of the Chief Economist of the Australian Government Department of Industry Innovation and Science.

The Company will update the market with details once commercial arrangements are finalised with any of the relevant business organisations.

The Company continues to work towards finalising the application for a Mining Lease (ML) at South Johnstone, with its environmental team, Northern Resource Consultants, monitoring on-site surface water and groundwater quality, and background dust and noise levels, in preparation for the ML application which is now almost complete.

MANAGEMENT has INVESTED or NOT ? Yes, this is a dealmaker/breaker, depending if it`s a "yes" or "no". QBL management has togheter with top 20 shareholders about 30% of the shares.
Check with management and they will confirm and/or ASX.

So, this is a major point to remember - so many companies who are in the cannabis business are not looking to the shareholders best intrest, but there own. If the management have not invested themself... I don`t invest in such business.

Found a piece today on "Entrepreneur" - a lot of turbulence continue to effect the cannabis market within US and thereby also other countries.

Some will gain from it, some loose. As a sum up, I would say this is a bad thing for the domestic cannabis market industry within United States.

There is a strong part of the republicans who don`t approve of marijuana in any way - so Trumps balance act is difficult, it`s all politics.

Sessions and other who is oppose the sector, make things go slow... yes, there will be progress - but the hurdles want be swept away easily during Trumps administration.

Over the past couple of weeks, there has been some comments or questions about the Bauxite project and the logistics and whether QBL has made appropriate arrangements.
REPLY - QBL is well prepared to commence mining at South Johnston as soon as the first deal is signed.
MOURILYAN PORT AUTHORITY

On the 10/02/2015, QBL signed an H.O.A. with the Mourilyan Port Authority to ship a minimum of 800,000 tonnes of bauxite per annum from their port facility. The arrangement allows for full utilisation of the port infrastructure including F.O.B. costs. (getting the ore onto the ships)
The Port of Mourilyan is located 15-24klm west, by road, of the South Johnston mine site and has excellent road connections.
Logistics - Transportation/ore processing
The bauxite mineralisation at South Johnstone being close to the surface and right off the main highway adjacent to the port, close to Asian markets, means that the Company's capital and operational costs are estimated to be of the lowest cost producers in the world. As per the Company's released scoping study, capital expenditure is expected to be only approximately $5 million dollars, and operating expenditure is expected to be only AUD$20.87 per tonne FOB Mourilyan Harbour.

LAST WEEKS ALUMINIUM/BAUXITE NEWS; Aluminium prices rallied to their highest since 2011 as the US dollar fell and Rio Tinto declared force majeure on some customer contracts after the United States imposed sanctions on its Russian partner Rusal.

Probability as a tool to decide, why QBL ? When we have looked at the hard fundamental facts, we come down to other variables in making a decison. Things like "gutfeeling" and other things we can´t measure.

They can be right or wrong, sometimes a bit of both. As I see it; when we invest outside our comfortzone (as in a new market, another country etc) it takes more courage, since it`s (feels like) a bigger challenge.

It`s new, so one have to figure it out; is it worth the risk ? The funny thing is, when we try to play it safe - we don`t use our potential to see a opportunity. Do you feel me ?

I`ve spend many hours of research on QBL, talking with management and friends in Australia - and sure, there is risks. Though they are not to big, in my eyes. When all things are said and done, it`s a clear buy signal.

Some have written angry comments, personal attacks on me how I can I promote a mining stock, with MMJ and hemp... ! Well, it`s not difficult as I see it; it`s a mining company with extra value threw it`s subsidiary, who have 55% intrest in Medical Cannabis Ltd.

This 55% means they are majority shareholder and sits in the front seat. They will gain on this, whatever happens with MCL in the future.
It might be sold, (QBL get paid, sharevalue rise) it might continue as it is; QBLs subsidiary will generate value threw sales and growth.

The mining part is as exciting to me, as the hemp and MMJ. There is revenue coming from hemp today, MMJ will be on within 2-3 months and mining to start at the end of the year. Risks; the stock will fly under the radar and want get the attention it deserves.

However, with the listing of Cannatab on the CSE, I reckon the sector has paid attention. Further, they had a buyout attemp and turned it down - I think the market has noticed it as well.

Finally, they have engaged a company to help them with selling in the hemp and MMJ products, so they are not alone. When we see they have got the hemp to Coles, it looks good. The MMJ are the next thing; here they will get help from Mr Easterling on the board.

The mining ? No worries - Mrs Feldman has a long and fruitfull experience; she was the first female who where a mining CEO and came to the ASX! She has done deals with the big boys (Rio Tinto, Kinross and so on) QBL will make a heap of cash on bauxite, especially now since it`s 7-year record high price.

THE QBL-story and Me - a TRY to discuss how WE/I pick stocks.


1. PEOPLE. The people behind a business is as important as the business idea. Mrs Feldman have a long history in the business world.I`ve checked out here history - she is solid. No scandals, no scams. She is 70 years now, though healthy and with a brilliant capacity to do great deals, this will likely be here last business. I reckon she will pass on her legacy to her son who is CEO of QBL. She has a passion for people, done a lot of charity work and help for the communities best.



2. THE BUSINESS IDEA; get the bauxite operation running by the end of the year. All have gone as planned - and now QBL get a bonus with a 7-year high aluminium/bauxite price ! With among the lowest Capex and Opex in the Bauxite industry, this will likely be a very profitable business. Meanwhile they are working with end buyers to sign deals on the Asian market, shipping there product from a close harbour (see post on this subject). Mrs Feldman have done deals with major miners in the past, it`s possible she/they sell of QBL for the right price. Either way will gain all shareholders, management with 15%, friends/family/Associates 15% - they got all reasons to strive for highest possible share value. No scams with Mrs Feldman. She holds a good reputation and spotless history.



3. EXTRA VALUE; They got approached from MCL (not without reason) and offered 55% of the Medical Cannabis Ltd. This was accepted and financed threw QBLs strong finances. Do they know the hemp/MMJ on QBL ? No, so what ? You get people who know and simply put take a fair part of the revenue generated from the sales of a suit of MMJ products and the wonder of HEMP who will be big business now. You don`t have to know everything,you should know how to cut a deal, that is was matter at the end of the day.



So, when all is said and done - this is a Mining Company with Extra Value threw it`s majority part of MCL shares. This will gain more value to the QBL and reflect on the shareprice in the near and long run. Presently the sales of hemp is the first revenue stream. With hundreds of stores with there various hemp products, QBL is on the right track! Within 12 weeks or less (according to QBL-media) the first MMJ products should reach the market - exciting times ahead.



Finally, (hey, Wake up! I want to mention 2 factors who are/can be of importance; The so called "fame factor" and "credibility factor" - they are close to each other, but not the same. US Cannabis expert Mr John Easterling and his wife Mrs Olivia Newton-John, are a part of this story. Mr John Easterling as MMJ expert and his wife as a celebrity and former moviestar - now head of a wellnes center and is a big fan of MMJ (have personal experience) as her husband.



If they represent the "fame factor" (with deep knowledge of MMJ and celebrity status in a broader sence) the next is 2 is stars in there own fields; Professor Meiri on Cannabis research, at the number one ranked laboratory of Cannabinoids and President of Emblem Medical Corporation; Mr John Stewart - former CEO of Purdue Pharma and likely one of the most prominent in the Pharma industry (see board and Investingnews piece of him and the licensing deal with MCLs Cannatab.) With these 2 World leading scientists collaboration threw MCL, the gameplan for success looks very promising.



This is no attempt to cover all aspects of how we choose a stock pick.
There is many things to look up when doing due dilligence - I want go in to that now. What I have pointed out is what I consider is of important for me - not to forget all other things evaluated and checked.
