Forgive me if I am telling you all something you already know but you should be able to trade this on the Vancouver Venture Exchange. Not sure why you would have to go through the American greys.......maybe if you are trading online but I don't see why.
I believe I can buy/sell shares listed on any exchange in the world through TD Waterhouse. Of course, your national currency will be converted into the currency of the country housing the exchange. In my case, I have 2 accounts, one in Canadian funds and one in American funds, and I can move the funds back and forth. I can do the whole thing online.
I'll look around for info about the company here in Canada this weekend. Vancouver Exchange has a less-than-perfect reputation, though they've been working to improve it. For that matter, I believe Bre-X was listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSE), our NYSE. Didn't protect investors. Ton of money made before ton of money lost.
We Canadians may be "nice" but seems we can scam with the best of them.
Not at all saying this is not a legit company. Have no info and will go looking, report back.
Thanks for the link. It's a pretty good one. Would you mind posting on URA.V also? It's the Canadian ticker for this company.

Not sure if anybody saw the Magnetic Map,http://www.anglocanex.com/s/NewsReleases.asp?ReportID=380069&_Type=News-Releases&_Title=Airborne-Magnetic-Survey-Results-for-Quebec-Gold-Property
Exactly. Including one of my POS stocks. LOL
I fully agree that the US should have a lot of the same rules. It would eliminate a lot of the scammy companies.
"Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle."
Thanks Karin. Locks is working on getting them off the greys. Like he doesn't already have enough to do. And IMO the US should adopt the same rules they have in Canada.
ANGUF is the pink sheet ticker for URA.V on TSX.V
When trading in your account via ANGUF the transaction will always show up on the Canadian exchange in addition to the US pinksheet level II. However, since this is a Canadian traded stock, you will see most of the volume on the Canadian exchange.
However, one must realize the pink sheet ticker is simply for convenience for US traders.
This company is fully reporting and not to be considered in the same class as a typical pink. It shows up as a grey due to not having followed the pinksheet requirements. But, they are fully reporting.
"Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle."
Yeah. I wouldn't bet the house on it. But it's traded in this range for a while now so don't see a major downside risk. And we should know this summer if we have a VW Bus size find or not.
Thanks, something I don't understand, how come the volume for URA.V is different that ANGUF ( GREY ) ??

Why they are even listed in our market is odd imo....
Myth, I can't read them either. But I know someone who can and he says they are very promising. So that was my motivation. He also points out that similar stocks that are successful trade for $3-$4 or more. Plus gold and uranium prices are headed up. That's it. It wasn't a major investment though.
Dew, I read some of the Sedar filings but don't really understand the assays.
Whats in the assays that has you so excited ?

Typical Jr mining co, might be a lottery win, who knows. I read some of the other filings, roll the dice !!
gla
Nope!shares can be bought on this for I purchased mine on Scottrade.Dew is also a shareholder here!
Well when does trading actually begin? Waiting for SEC ruling or what?
The bid is .082
Grey but fully reporting in Canada!
Thanks Locks. Similar companies to this in Canada trade for $3.00 to $4.00 or more. This stock will be a monster by the end of summer IMO. Do your own DD but the sky is the limit on this one if they find what they think they have per the assays.
Spoke to the Head Man Len,What a Great Guy!Len had no intentions on being associated with any pinks but is Listed on the Grey with Pink Sheets. They were unaware, and is looking into it.Im told they can file a 211 and that would take them off Grey.ANGUF is a Fully Reporting Company located in Canada. If anybody has any questions Feel Free to call Len at anytime!Locks
Having a peek, folks. Always ready to demonstrate my patriotism but I just don't have the kind of personal cash flow that allows for this kind of illiquidity (is that a word??).
Yes, I know......if I would buy some shares, liquidity would improve. Will keep watch.
You guys were on the most active for awhile.
Volume finally gonna pick up here ? O/S anybody ?
IB doesn't have the ticker to trade. I requested it and they told me they'd add it to their database within a day or two.
"Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle."
Sounds good. Thanks.
Much appreciated. I'm a novice gold mine investor but I do have a good contact on this one who is high on it. So I bought and will wait and see. Please post again if you find more for us. Thanks.
Well just got off the phone with the President of ANGUF LEN ,Yes they answer there phones.Really Great Guy looking forward to seeing what he has in store for us.Any Investor Interested can call Toll Free at 1-866-488-3838.
Hey guys and girls no offense I was just asked to check into this stock a bit for you and I'll give you some pointers cause I am from Canada first of all we only have 2 producing Uranium companies here one is Cameco at 31 a share and the other I forget the name of but much smaller. Uranium projects in Ontario almost never fly Gold projects out in British Columbia are a pr in there own right to get started that province has the best enviromental policies in the world next to California. Quebec is mining friendly but there are dozens of better mining stocks in Quebec under .20 cents that are NI 43-101 compliant. To put it nicely if your looking for a penny stock thats in the mining district look in Nevada state YNGFF or Yukon-Nevada gold oh and as for the Yukon project They'll be like any other mining corporation up there take them 5 to 10 years to get going cause you got to build access roads and get hydro to the facilities not to mention get through the permafrost to get to the ore that goes the same for B.C. all but the permafrost there. As I said I've seen better financed and better companies out there fail cause of the environmental policies if you do decide to get into this stock best of luck to you's GLTA this is just my opinion and please do your own DD remember too that Canadians pay more tax on everything then Americans so that figures into there profits when they get any too plus each province has there own stock Reglatory
So far today it looks like you and I are the only buyers in the US. And not a lot of volume in Canada either. I have a feeling on this one Locks. LOL
Anyone that has requested the chart will get a notice that it is available once it comes up. At that time I will put it in the ibox. ;)
Anyway, I have to get going now... Will be busy for a couple of hours. I'll check back then.
Btw, URA is traded at venture, ANGUF is traded at OTC US.
"Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle."
I assume if I get one you will get one. Right?
Take off those DARK Sunglasses!
Thanks for requesting the ANGUF chart. Others will be very appreciative of it. ;)
"Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle."

Key Properties
Several of the Company's properties in the “Four Corners” region of the USA include past-producing mines, including Eula Belle and Joseph. Operations ceased at these mines due to unfavourable economics in the mid-1980s, when uranium spot dropped below US$10/lb.
Eula Belle: This property consists of 302 uranium and vanadium claims, which cover a 52-claim block and a 250-claim block in Colorado. In November 2007, the Company started a 20,000 foot drill program on this project. The objective of the program was to test for mineralization in the existing two 26-hole cluster drill-outs. In August 2008, the Company announced results of the program, with the highest showing being 0.258% over 3.5 feet at a depth of approximately 750 feet. The recent work confirms the presence of uranium mineralization in multiple sandstone beds ranging from 529 feet to 787 feet.
Joseph: This project consists of 106 claims. In March 2008, the Company opened a plugged air vent to assess the underground workings of its past-producing mine as well as Denison’s Van 4 mine. A potential joint venture with Denison Mines could be agreed shortly.
Anglo-Canadian has two promising properties in the Otish basin in Quebec.
Otish is similar to the Athabasca basin of Saskatchewan with respect to its age, its lithology, and its tectonic settings. The Company intends for its 2009 drill program to look for deposits similar to the L-Zone deposit (3 km to the west) and the Matoush deposit (60 km to the north).
Big Mac: This uranium property covers 2,100 hectares in the Otish basin in Quebec. In July-August 2008, 115 line kilometres of line cutting was completed on Big Mac. The Company contracted with Precision GeoSurveys Inc. to conduct an airborne radiometric and magnetic survey, which was carried out in 2008. The general level of radioactivity and the levels determined on the ground shown by the survey were lower than on the Charles property.
Charles Property: The Company owns a 2,119 hectare uranium property in the Otish basin in Quebec. Results announced in March 2009 show a high level of radioactivity and prospectors did find numerous glacially transported sub-angular boulders showing radioactivity above the ground. The magnetic data on the Charles and Big Mac properties show the presence of gabbro dykes or masses, which could host mineralization.
