Aeterna Zentaris Inc. (NASDAQ: AEZS) (TSX: AEZS) (“Aeterna” or the “Company”), a specialty biopharmaceutical company commercializing and developing therapeutics and diagnostic tests, today announced the closing of its previously announced public offering of 20,509,746 common shares of Aeterna, at a price to the public of $1.45 per share. The gross proceeds from the offering were approximately $29.7 million, before deducting underwriting discounts, commissions and offering expenses payable by Aeterna.

Value? What value? This is a speculative biotech with zero revenue, a share price almost 50% below nasdaq requirements that most likely with necessitate a massive reverse split to maintain their listing. Otherwise, the ONLY way this continues to trade is on the pinkies list.

long term u are right meaning 6 months or more imo or right before delisting ,im sure we will get something,thats 3 months away however,in the end u will be right imo because aezs is set up for success with a low burn rate ,money in bank to last 2 more yrs, 68 mill i think rt now,and multiple different catalysts coming,some for unmet medical needs,its going to be a long 3-6 months though and this drop to 60 cents absolutely sucks,God bless all

I've said from the beginning it's about Macrilen sales and that's why I'm here. I have never hoped or believed in the quick COVID vaccine fantasy nor did I hear anything from AEZS that made me think that a oral vaccine pill wasn't years away. I would be happy with a COVID vaccine pump to $12 though...LOL

I have absolutely, and wrongly I might add, believed Macrilen sales would come faster and bigger, but Macrilen sales ARE picking up and it's looking like they're headed for around $25-30M this year. $13M so far... $40M in sales is the magic number. If sales growth continues, we'll hit that next year for sure. I see no upside in share price without some other positive news or until people start to believe Macrilen sales will pay the bills... Or another "miracle coming" pump and dump...LOL

the covid pill being so far off has killed us plain and simple,we knew other catalysts would take a while but klauss said 6 months ago we can do better than current vaccines,6 months later and they are just starting animal trials,how were spuds and me suppose to know know klauss meant in a couple of yrs,sma klauss,u mislead us,like i said a couple of days ago short term we are fd,sorry for our losses,imo this will go even lower till news hits which may be a while,with covid pill and other catalysts being so far away we are fd short term,cant do shit but wait for bottom and load up there,God bless all

Raising all that cash by diluting shareholders by 100M shares over the last year and a half, from 19M OS to 121M OS, is now a major problem considering NASDAQ listing requirement issue, P3 DETECT trial not due for completion until H2 2022 and nothing else meaningful to report until H1 2023.
I'll say it again.... Macrilen sales...Macrilen sales...Macrilen sales!!!! Without Macrilen sales, no chance of SP going anywhere but down as they burn through all that cash....

i dont think they were lying,maybe there was a problem orthey are trying to cover the dlta and other variants of covid,also covid isnt going anywhere,it will be almost like the flu shot,even people that have been vaccinated are getting it,the other catalysts are true also but again they are a yr out,was counting on covid pill to fill the gap till then,was wrong and it will probably test 50 cents,on the other hand when it does bottom out im buying a lot and will hold,just way too many catalysts coming and some for unmet needs,they have enuf cash till 2024 basically and the float is around 120 mill or so,they also have a low burn rate,forget about it going higher in the short term imo,the time will come whenit will push 5 or 10 bucks imo,problem is that time is probably 6 months to a yr away so till then it could get ugly,remember pedi test is for an unmet need and will sell better than adult test,also u know of the other preclincals trials they have going,again like ive always said the key is other uses for macrilen besides a test,again remember the 2 phase 3 in usa,approval of either 1 will be huge because eu and row will follow the fda like they did the adult test,again the problem is these are a yr out as is just about everything,going to take some time,its going be a long 6 months to a yr,God bless all

Professor Rudel of university of Wurburg said in March that Covid pill development would be fast because the concept had been used to develop similar process for prostate cancer vaccine which had been approved by authorities for clinical testing! It seems all are lies!

If u look up Aezs website it will show u what was talked about during presentation. They have lots of catalysts but all are a yr away. Thought Covid pill vaccine would be ready now but even that is a yr away. Have to wait it out. Klauss didn’t even mention the 2 phase 3 trials in usa for macrilen for tbi and cancer cachexia unless u count therapeutic uses for macrilen. Maybe it’s because novo owns the rts in n America. I would be talking that up if I were klauss as fda approval would mean eu would approve it too like they did the adult test. I still luv aezs and tmdi long term but short term we are fd with aezs. Well I took in a chunk of shares today @ .64 lets see where this takes us. Last time we took a position in AEZS it was for the Jan effect and the price was in the .40 range. It paid off big time ran to over $3.00. Lets see what happens here in the next couple of days.
