This is a startin to get interestin again, i agree, ANT
BLRVQ is starting to look pretty good. We are starting to see steady volume and higher prices. A bit more buying and we could have a real spike here. MMs seem to back off the ask upon buying, so there don't appear to be sellers out there.
BUX
Nice day today. Lots of buying and a big move higher. Tomorrow should be interesting.

Hi ANTADOG, these are some pretty interesting numbers for a company that supposedly suspended trading and was no longer going to be a public company.
This one's got me real interested too. These guys sound like they've got some producing assets, or at least assets capable of being ramped back up. Love to pick up a few if she dips into the sub penny range again. Best regards.
2.221.436 shares traded on thursday 9th April, and we hit 0.05 hod on that, ended up 861.64 % for the day at 0.025, so i am interested, will do some dd, but i have this feelin we won't have to wait till June to see the company movin forward again, check out the material placed on the locations, fyi imo ANT
Anyone still following this one at all? Are they anywhere close to reworking financing? Looks like there is great potential here if they can get control of their debt....but good luck in this economy.
OK BLRV
9.5, 10.5 & today @ 11
Buying's over. Now we'll give the new mgt. a chance to see if they can take this north. AU AU ;)

BLRV is “One to Watch”
Bullion River Gold’s exploration program is focused on regions that contain world-class gold-silver deposits. The company is currently concentrated on the prolific Great Basin of the Western US, which is known as the world’s third leading gold producer.
Bullion River is actively seeking projects that consist of high grades and large tonnage potential. The Company has illustrated this effort by developing a portfolio that includes the high gold and silver grades at Cimarron in Nevada, Antone Canyon in Nevada, and French Gulch and North Fork Mines in California, all of which contain multi-ounce material.
The company is committed to using the most effective exploration methods in both project evaluation and development. Its three prong strategy includes concentrating in areas where highly prolific gold deposits have been found, seeking high-grade deposits with high volume potential, and most importantly, working with the most conversant people in the mine exploration industry.
Good to hear from you sumisu. Sorry, I've been away for awhile. Not much action with blrv yet. Gold is doing great and silver could be the big rocket later this year. Blrv
should have been up big last year, however, there production never came close to their predictions. Such is the case for the pps. We all got blind sided with predicted production levels that never happened. Hopefully, they will recover by spring and so will the pps. We'll just keep hoping and watching.
Thanks for the plug about running this blog. Right now I don't think I have the time. But I will continue to contribute and hope things get back on track for blrv.
Good hearing from you, hope we are all successful this year.
StickyMetal
Sticky, I had a great Christmas and hope that you did as well.
As I indicated before, I'm indirectly in Bullion River in a hedge fund. However, at these prices, this is a great buy. Not a good time for me not to have cash.
The way all countries are inflating their currencies, gold and silver will be great buys in 2008 and that includes 'Bullion River Gold.'
sumisu
PS You should ask to be moderator of this board; I can assist and take care of the iBox.
Pretty quite around here. Hope everyone has a nice holiday and I hope 2008 sparkles in gold & silver. Sticky
beaten down by bashers and naked shorts, might be a good time for entry. the fed will be cutting next week either 25 or 50 points and pog will break thru 841.
Gold has pulled back, but this should be short lived. I expect the price to hit a $1000 by the 1st quarter of 2008. Hopefully blrv will be ready to take advantage of the rising price. Sticky
NT 10-Q, reason for late filing, they have revenues for the first time.
Your thought was correct in both posts.
I agree, we should do very well in 2008.
good luck,
sumi
I meant the end of next year 2008.
I'am a buyer here and will be adding over the next month or so. Looks like they have turned the corner could easily be a dollar again by the end of next year.
with the mine being profitable, after the layoffs and with gold above 775...30 plus is inevitable then on to 50s again very shortly.
I think we'll go back up to .30s near-term. ~ASW~
Bullion River Gold Reports Expected Initial Positive Cash Flow for French Gulch Operations in October 2007
Monday November 5, 3:00 am ET
http://biz.yahoo.com/iw/071105/0323992.html
RENO, NEVADA--(MARKET WIRE)--Nov 5, 2007 -- Bullion River Gold Corp. (OTC BB:BLRV.OB - News) announced earlier today that according to preliminary production statistics for the Company's French Gulch Mining operation, the value of gold recovered last month (Oct-2007) at the Company's California-based mine is expected to exceed onsite production costs.
"Operating at a profit in October is overdue validation of the measures we instituted earlier in 2007 to control production costs," stated CEO Peter Kuhn. "This milestone could also not have been reached without the diligent efforts of the mine operations personnel onsite at French Gulch, and their collective efforts to bring the project to profitability. Of course the fact that the monthly moving average for the price of gold jumped around $100 recently didn't hurt our net results either."
The preliminary Production Statistics for October 2007 at Bullion River Gold's French Gulch Mine project are as follows:
-----------------------------------------------------------
Gold Mill Head
Period: Milled: Recovered: Recovery: Grade:

10/1/07 1055.3 734.8 92.3% 0.754 opt

iglos,
Bought 5,000 shares at 24 cents today.
Thanks for the reminder.
sumisu
This is a good buy. I have a contact in California who is trying to land this deal..he canbring invetsors in and has demonstrated his ability in mining companies. We have made money off of several of their companies. BLRV..I bought some today! Thank you for the advice
Iglos.
Looks like estimates were overstated. However, they are getting the grade better and should breakeven by years end. That being said, I think the pps won't recover until the 2nd quarter of next year. Things always take longer than we think. Blrv is still a good long term hold especially with the price of gold going up. We should know more of how well the company will do in 2008 by the end of this year. Sticky
Stickymetal,
Thanks for the explanation and your insight.
I agree with your assessment and am still sitting on 10,000 shares and not worried.
sumisu
Good to see another investor in gold stocks. Yes, its been a little disappointing Eric that blrv's pps fell like it did. That doesn't mean its not a good buy. At its current price, I would say its oversold. Was the resigning of the CFO a factor, maybe just a little. The real reason the stock is down is twofold. First, it took almost two years to get the mine operating. This has added 10 million to the liability of the company. Investors thought that the mine with its good ore would be producing ten times its current production. Whats happened is that the new state of the art crusher was crushing material but not with the quantity of gold that should be there.
The good news is that they have brought an expert in (Mr. Callaway) to bring just the good ore out and process it. These are narrow veins and have to be dealt with differently. The facts are that the company now has the infostructure in place along with proven reserves and the company is projecting at least 30k ounces or more next year. This alone could wipe out their debt and put them on the plus side. The mine not including all their other properties is valued at over 30 million. The outstanding shares are about 60 million. They expect to break even by the end of 2007.
The other event that knocked this stock and others was the unwinding of the stock market in August. Some of those investors have not returned. With gold heading higher and Blrv at the point of success, this stock has great potential next year. Its not uncommon for CFO to leave small companies after a few years. They are also trying to work their way to the top. The next quarter return will show if the company has turned the corner. If they have, this stock is definitly headed north again. I think its a good buy. Sticky
okaay thanks :) appreciate ur inputs..is there any other gold stocks u are playing/watching? tia
EricVan,
Stickymetal who posts to this board has the best knowledge to rely on Bullion River Gold. I'm indirectly in this investment through my gold account manager. I spend most of my time on energy stocks and studying Peak Oil.
With patience and at these prices, I believe this is a good time to add to this company.
sumisu
hi Sumisu, is BLRV a great buy at these level? Is the sell off due to the departure of the CFO only? And what is ur pps target? ;) tia for any info..cheers
Sticky,
Not in panic mode either. Am in the same boat as you regarding cash on hand.
I invested so much into energy that I have nothing left. But my energy plays have treated me very well so far.
thanks for the post,
sumisu
I'm not in a panic mode. I just wish I had more on the sidelines to buy more blrv. It seems like the bottom was .25 today. I believe it is now oversold. At the bell there was a trade of 100k shares which was purchased higher than the close of .26 cents. Some smart investor saw the opportunity. I believe some investors have taken the news that layoffs and CFO leaving is a bad thing. However, I view it as the company doing what it has to do to turn the corner and produce a profit.
Remember Mr. Callaway (I hope I spelled that right) told us that the mine alone with its improvements is valued at 30mil dollars without counting other properties. With his expertise and track record I believe they will do it before the end of the year. For 2008 he conservatively estimated 30K ounces. He has had time to see what this mine is capable of producing and I think he will be able to do it.
I do agree that the company needs to put out a pr quickly to calm investors before there is anymore damage. Blrv ran into some bad luck with the selloff of gold at the end of August and the current news without a pr explaining things.
A good pr and we will soon be on our way back up. Sticky
Big volume on Tuesday, however, not much movement in the pps. I think the mms were selling alot of accumulated shares from the shake out last week. Once those shares get purchased the pps should start to recover.
All I can say is I smell a rat in the financial markets. There is a chance that this was an intentional attack on the pm market. It may be that the financial heavy weights were shaking the golden trees to get the week apples off. Then slowly and stealthly acquire those apples position. I think there were alot of big shorts who became longs right after the collapse. They may now be buying up all the gold stocks in anticipation of a market collapse.
Something big is on the horizon and I think investors in the near future will finally turn to gold & silver for protection.
This could be historic in proportion. It would not take to many investors in pm to propel gold and gold stocks into the wild blue yonder.
I don't like to call it something dark, but lately everything looks like it is coming from a script or play book. Lately I have been getting letters from not one but alot of my credit card companies telling us that their terms have changed. Miss a payment or be late and your rate will goto 32%, imagin that. Its not imagination its a fact. They know the consumer is now tapped out and trapped. These are birds of prey. Something bad is coming and they are all positioning themselves to maximize profit.
Blrv will bounce back shortly and next year takeoff. I hope we can all hang in there till then. We don't want just these big elephants to be the ones making money. Sticky
Sticky,
Hanging in there tight with this stock. Should funds become available, I will buy now.
thanks,
sumisu
Unfortuately, I think we are experiencing an oversold stock at this time. I believe alot of margin calls affected some very good stocks, blrv being one of them. The current price is fantastic for buyers. I think it is easy to say that it will double by the end of the year. Good time to pickup more if you have the cash. Fundamentals are getting better everyday for blrv. This will no doubt be short lived and should recover in the next 6 to 8 weeks.
I think alot of folks will be in recoverly mode for awhile on wall street. I do believe next year will be blrv year. I wouldn't throw the towel in on this one. Sticky
Sticky,
Thanks for the update.
I feel the same way that you do about this investment and upward will be the operative word in the future. And I have time to wait for things to develop. In fact, I hope that I have the remainder of the year to increase my position at low prices.
good luck,
sumisu
I listened to the whole thing on my cell phone while driving. It was a long wait, but I really believe blrv has turned the corner. I don't know if the pps will move up fast, but in my opinion it has no where to go but up. At a hundred tons and .7 ounces minimum a day were on our way.
I believe they will do alot better than that going forward.
I don't know how everyone feels, but it feels like the pressure is off the current shareholders. With good revenue next year this stock will be moving north. Also, confirming the future move to AMEX is another big plus to look forward too. Sticky
Well tomorrow blrv will be doing a conference call. Should be interesting and maybe we will get alot of our questions answered. Second quarter was a little flat, but I see them picking up steam by the 4th quarter. 4th quarter should be on the plus side. I also believe gold will be higher. I hope the pps recovers in the 4th quarter and goes over the dollar level in the first quarter of next year. Though below our expectations, 2008 could be a stellar year. I'm in for the long term. I think they will be in good shape in the 4th quarter. Sticky
Should be getting close to the second quarter report. Hope it includes good news. Sticky
I think we both agree on the long term about blrv sumisu. It will be there for us in the long run when we need it. Its fun to watch its progress so far. Hope they will be openning the NorthFork mine in the not to distant future also. I think it could really add to the bottom line in about a year or two. Sticky
I concluded the same about the margin calls.
On these down days, I spend most of my time gardening and reading about Peak Oil.
Not worried about Bullion River over the long run.
sumisu
The selloff today was mostly stock investors selling gold to cover some margin calls. The whole market was down very big today. I wouldn't be surprised to see the market go alot lower. Once things settle, gold will definitly rebound. The dollar is looking more and more like toast. The Feds are only trying to prop it up as much as they can. The fallout of the housing market is going to be the final knife in the back of the dollar. When foreigners see their reinvestment in this country of their dollars declining big time, they will pull the rest of their money and convert to some other currency or gold.
We are very close to a dollar collapse in my opinion. If blrv can start to show some real revenue from gold, this stock will definitly take off starting later this year. Lets hope everything falls in place for blrv. It may be one of the only bright spots we have to look forward too. Sticky
I'll be ready for it!!!!!!!
Should be getting close to a good pr! Sticky
Sumisu, we were patient and our patience is paying off. There was lots of volume today and yes the stock went up a little. However, I believe this news will slowly start to spread and the pps will now begin a steady rise. Independent stock pickers will now be pointing out blrv. Once the ounces are flowing out and the books reflect that so will the stock. Probably we should be in good shape for the winter holidays. Sticky
Sticky,
Thought you might have an exuberant reaction!
I really like the numbers that you present.
Good going,
sumisu
Wow! Wow! & Wow!. This is indeed fantastic news. Looks like were sitting on a gold mine! As they convert the ore to revenue watch the pps continue to move up. With these fantastic finds and the price of gold ready to skyrocket, all I can say is wow! So using my simple math and educated guesses, production being at least 200 tons a day and multiple ounces per ton. Lets take the low end. One ounce a ton and 200 ounces a day times 30 days a month thats 6000 ounces a month. 6000 ounces times 6 months equals 36,000 ounces by year-end. 36,000 ounce times $650 an ounce equals $23,400,000 in revenue by the end of the year. This is the low end. The high end could be double this. This eventually has to move this stock into the multiple dollar range. Hurah, Huray ! Sticky
