$60.28 close today.
Trueheart
Bought 20 shares more at $59.31.
Trueheart
At $62 and change there's still plenty of headroom as the 52-week high is $74.15.
I'm waiting for a dip to buy more.
Trueheart
Monday you could have bought for less than $52.
Trueheart
The share price apparently is up on the China Syndrome. LOL
Trueheart
The high last month was over $72. A return to that would produce a 50% gain.
Trueheart
This looks so cheap but is the global market turmoil too much for this stock to rebound?
Stay tuned.
Trueheart
Today's share price fell to under $55. Still think it will go lower as the market wring-out continues.
Trueheart
Sold my positin at $55.15.
Trueheart
Morokoy, thanks for the post.
Looks like the share price is riding on the coat-tails of the miners. Materials are down huge, especially coal, and it seems to be dragging down BUCY.
Joy Global is down even further.
Once the China issue is clarified I think we'll head back up.
Trueheart
In 10 days, it lost $10. worth of love. Should be an interesting next 6 weeks. There's a guy who does pretty good, and he seems to think $75.54 is doable.

I don't own enough shares of this mining equipment maker!! LOL
Trueheart
Like the Energizer Bunny it just keeps going and going... somewhat.

The CEO of Bucyrus was on CNBC a couple of minutes ago. He said the company's growth is in the BRIC countries. He listed coal, copper, iron and copper as the minerals the company builds equipment to mine.
Further, he said the the United States is lagging in its recovery and he does not look to the USA for meaningful growth.
He was very optimistic on the company's growth both short and long term.
Trueheart
Great news, Morokoy!
The stock is up over five bucks!

Bucyrus International to buy Terex's mining equipment division for $1.3 billion
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Bucyrus-to-purchase-Terex-apf-2882211775.html?x=0&.v=4
Nice overall 5-day gain from the $49 it saw last week.
Trueheart
Piggy-backed on JOYG, which looks like it may post over BUCY's $1.21, so hopefully we can get close to $56 tomorrow.
Very nice gain today in light of the downward movement of miners such as McMorAn and RTP.
Trueheart
I'll take anything to goose the price higher. LOL
Joy Global's production is heavily weighted into coal mining equipment. Bucyrus is more balanced and produces a wider range of industrial equipment.
Trueheart
Interesting observation over on Yahoo board - competition between JOYG and BUCY for bragging rights, has Joy posting more that BUCY's last quarter, and that in turn is boosting BUCY even more! lol
Mlkr, good to hear from you.
In the same league as Bucyrus, Joy Global will report next week and, hopefully, will state that its business is growing.
Bucyrus is the name of the town in Ohio in which the company was founded. Sure sounds as if it should have been a Roman god. LOL
Trueheart
Very Good idea! Good Luck. Bucyrus unusual name.. never heard. what does it mean?
tia
Great point, Morokoy.
I have another great stock, Chicago Bridge & Iron (CBI), that has $billions in a growing backlog but it, too, took a hit in a general market that is reacting to what should be non-affecting news.
Trueheart
That's just the problem I have with some news stories - what has that got to do with a company making mining equipment for use in Chile, Brazil, Australia, China, India, etc, and not so much as a screwdriver for use in the Middle East.
BUCY held well and bounced back from $50.75.
Not sure the world ready to make this move back up considering the Dubai problem.
Trueheart
Done.
Trueheart
trueheart remove my email address, please
Congrats on the buy.
I traded Bucyrus in that area for some time.
I, too, am wondering how long the market can continue it spectacular rise without real growth.
Best of luck in getting your number.
Trueheart
This is not my "dry powder", it's more like my "ammo dump", been in slightly over a year, at $30.58
I'm waiting to see how far it can race this week, I think the time is fast approaching when I say "thanks for the memories"!
Morokoy, I'm in at $47 and change and missed that buy $44.44 by a few cents about a month ago. Ya never know.
Trueheart
Add $10.00 and you may get lucky!
This mining equipment maker is following the mining companies. I have a standing buy order at $44.44 that looks like it's an orphan.
Trueheart
So far it's staying above $50.
Trueheart
Looks like once again this week, it may cross $50 and stay above that threashold.
Started this board today on this mining equipment maker.
