Is it true they now have electric plans on the market, and bombardier has gas planes still
Those who paid .4 and sold now would be smart maybe
The refurbished birds sector is excellent timing. One year warranty good thinking on management's part.
No I absolutely believe there will be a market for their product. I think with the spin off of so many products like the LC415, C-series, 8-400, etc...plus the entire rail division. I could see the company retracting. The revenues left with those deals...the business would have to shrink a bit.
I agree with that, the 7500 is here now.
Very cool stuff...but a bird in the hand verses waiting 4 more years.
Anyone paid $2 to watch this go close to nothing and then soar
Maybe no more government bail out jmo
Interesting 585 post, you think they will go bankrupt
$BBD.B .. #Bombardier planes are very nice but it's hard not to be a fan of Dassault's "X" planes. Attached a few links, last one is a video of short field performance.
The Global's advantage is it's out in the market right now while the Falcon 10X is still 4yrs away. That allows for some market penetration from Bombardier's end although with the rail division gone to Alstrom the revenues have left Bombardier along with it. They're going to have to sell a heck of a lot of Globals & Challengers to make up the revenue short fall & I just don't see that happening.

I will see if I can find a comparison page rather than listing a ton of stuff here. Ranges are similar, speeds are very close, prices are close but performance & efficiency including landing & take off weights & distances are heavily in Dassault's favour. Especially the 8X, it can land & takeoff where many other's can't allowing it to access many locations therefore cutting down ground transportation costs. I'm not saying the Global is not a nice plane, it is very nice. I've always had a thing for the Challenger 350, it has such a nice tarmac stance...however, neither it or the 600 series planes can hold water compared to the Falcon.
Talk in compairables: dollar cost of aircraft, distance of flight and speed. If you want to add wheels up distance and landing distances needed please do.
Mmmm, keep the emotions out of it. Takeoff range isn't great which limits what airports Bombardier products can fly out of, they can't match the fuel efficiency of many other brands plus Dassault has the new 10X coming which will be in direct competition to the Global 7500. So far if history repeats itself, the Falcon line / "X" planes will out perform all other offerings in the market in both efficiency & performance.
Best aircraft on the market for the money. They have 33% market share, a 2 year back log, 900+ miles per hour and a range that's unbeatable why not.
Imagine pay $.40 and goes to $5
Millionaires billionaires to be maybe made
Wonder how next results will be
BBD Flys , even when low on fuel
could be A Lone grave------R.I.P
