I think the entire effort is stupid right now. Is it due to writers strike? Attempt to compete with all the other stupid shows on TV right now?
I actually watched a little bit of the paramount + live feed. Can't believe I lasted an hour. Pretty much nothing but that young dude dropping the F bomb every 5 seconds and that guy who was booted showing he was totally out of his element.
I have always wondered how much the show is manipulated. Does the production team "direct" certain things to happen or certain people to get targeted?
Cirie's son seems like an idiot.
Stupidest HOH comp ever.
This season isn’t looking too good so far.
Apparently Luke (not sure who he is) was already thrown out of the house.
I wonder if that means that there won’t be an eviction tonight?
A lot of NYers. You gotta get outta the house more. I'm sure you at least know the mailman of the Aunt of the mother in law of a couple of them.
I don’t know anyone this time around.
Too early to decide who I like or dislike.
OK, I didn't hate them all as much as I thought I would.
Which one's mother do you know??
I did hate all the hype build up Julie was trying to give it. Guess they need to compete with all the shows on CW now.
I was not impressed either.
Geez! I hate them all already!
That's a nitpick?? A nitpick would be, being angry that our players didn't high five Judge as he rounded the bases.
Mine is just a grumpiness factor. Get your insults right.
LOL...you doubt my information is correct? It's on the internet, it must be true. Facebook posters from NY have been posting it.
On one hand, they're thanking us for pitching to him. Right behind it are the hate posts that we aren't classy enough to high five him.
Geez…. Nitpick much?
I never heard of an opposing team high fiving a player from the other team. I doubt your information is correct.
BTW....not sure if I've just become grumpy....or maybe jealous....or just worn out from social media, but....so tired of reading from fans of NY, LA, HOU how they post as if they actually did something themselves.
Your team had a very good year. Congrats! Be happy. But don't act as if YOU did something.
Too many "we's"....not enough "they's".
I'm reading online from yankee fans that they are mad that no Ranger high fived Judge as he rounded the bases.
Are you mad at us too?
Obviously not as I was there.
Apparently, people were smart enough to sell their tickets to yankee fans in advance. Once they announced Judge wasn't playing, they ate the tickets.
I didn't mind them not being there, but I'm sure the Rangers were preparing for the extra people. Bet they had lots of extra food prepared, where being it was the last game, would go to waste.
Fans like you?
I don't know what he had a chance for, but it would have been nice for the fans and the record books had he played.
Why do you make it sound like it's all a conspiracy? I'm not trying to argue with you.
Hmmmm, interesting
Are NYers to blame for ushers in Texas giving wrong directions?
Once again Judge really had NO CHANCE for the triple crown……but you knew that.
BTW, while it may be known that I'm not a "fan of NYers in general", it seems like it's more like, NYers have been running constant attacks on Texans for the last few years. Geez, I listen to Howard Stern and daily he refers to us as "Southern Dummies".
Our border laws are attacked, our politicians, are protocols, our school systems....and all the while, I go to a Rangers game and it's 80% NYers here.
I don't get it. Texans aren't moving to NY (well other than the illegals that are being bussed there), and tell you all that you need to change everything.
I met a woman one day who was transferred for business to work in West Texas. She told me that those "good ol' boys are going to have to learn how to do business with her!".......she transferred back to NY after about 6 months.
Yes, it is customary to rest players before the playoffs, but he was trying to win the triple crown!
That ummmm...was my huge shot against NY.
So, it turns out, the people who should have been in the seats where he caught the ball, were told to go the wrong direction by the usher and couldn't get to their seats in time. Then this guy, who was actually seated in the second row, ran down and shoved everyone out of the way. As a goodwill gesture, he should give the people who had the seats $100k of the $2 million he'll get.
The guy who jumped the rail, was the genius. Wonder if he got the ball if they would have tried to take it away from him.
Obviously you don’t follow the Yankees.
Boone is well known for resting his players all during the season.
Judge has played in every game for the last 30+ days because he was nearing breaking a record.
Add to this the stress of the situation I think he deserved a day + off to enjoy just watching a game.
You have such a world of baseball knowledge. Isn’t it pretty common for teams who are in the playoffs to not play all of their regulars on the final day of the season? Maybe this is to prevent possible injuries, to give young players a chance to play, or just to give them as much rest as possible.
I would be willing to bet the guy who caught the 62nd home run ball was happy that Judge didn’t play. Chances are 62 would have lost some value if there was a 63.
I realize that you will use just about anything to take shots at The Yankees, Yankee fans, or NYers in general so have at it.
Well I thought it was pretty weak of the yankees. They wanted TV and fan support, then, once he got the home run, they sit him and kill attendance for the game?
I'd bet The Rangers were instructed by MLB not to pitch around him.
We bring in a scrub from the Minors to groove one pitch for him down the middle. Can't believe we used an opener for that game.
The only good thing was, on Sunday, all those yankee fans who spent silly money for the game, didn't bother to show up and it was a pleasant afternoon.
For the first time ever, I'm so glad to see this season end. Between Pujols and Judge, so many stupid social media arguments.
So, why didn't they play him yesterday with the chance to win the triple crown?
He would have needed to go 5 for 5 probably and Arraez would probably have need to go 0 for 5 and the Twins would have sat him if that was happening.
I was behind the yankees dugout, so that would have been tough.
The guy who did though, is becoming a local celebrity. Apparently he's married to a girl who was on the Bachelor.
So, why didn't they play him yesterday with the chance to win the triple crown?
It wasn’t you unless you changed your name.
Did you catch Judge’s home run?
Ok
BTW. Happy New Year
If she had just argued resilience, I'd say she deserved to finish 2nd, but you shouldn't win the game just because you smiled while getting abused for the first two weeks. She did nothing to build her resume' other than sleep with guys.
If you go back and read this board you'll see I rooted for her early on, but Monte played the game correctly to the end...or so it should have been.
Once Her speech went to entitlement, I lost all respect for her.
Was just discussing this with my daughter a few minutes ago. She has worked her way to the top of a company. I told her, had she slept her way to the top I would have lost all respect for her. She agreed.
BTW, my spousal_unit was more disgusted with the speech than I was. The spousal wanted Turner though.
What about her speech made you more in favor?
One word.....resilience.
You know I didn't like her personality but from what I am reading and hearing from people who watched the live feeds her personality was a lot different than the edited version we saw.
Her speech was about resilience. She may have not won the most comps but she fought the hardest to stay.
She was a target for the first month.
I don't get it, but if she had at least one of the last two challenges, you could make a case for her. As you know, I picked the final 3 pretty early on, and I rooted for Taylor for surviving. Michael probably would have won America's Favorite had he not left the house like a prima donna.
Interesting that Kyle got the 3rd most fan votes. They went silent there when they announced his name.
I'm sorry, but the liberal world has turned everything askew. Nothing makes sense any more. Taylor got all the women's votes just due to her speech. It wasn't a speech speaking to how much she did in the house, it was a speech stating that she was entitled to the win because she was downtrodden.
It was pretty telling when Taylor seemed more interested in Joseph after finding out he was an attorney. It was more telling how Joseph was obviously upset to hear that Monte and Taylor had a showmance going on.
I'm the most disappointed in Michael for voting for Taylor. He was supposed to respect game play. I guess he did respect "game play". Winning comps isn't everything as he found out.
Also wish they had asked that hillbilly idiot about how he abused Taylor. Daniel? I wish they never gave him any airtime at all.
I noticed that one girl who left on her own wasn't mentioned at all. I wondered if she hadn't left the game when she did if there would have been a different outcome. She was the mean girl who had it in for Taylor from day one.
Taylor played the game like it was a pageant. She didn't lose her cool. Exactly! That was a winning strategy it turns out.
I was fine with her finishing 2nd, but not winning. I wonder if Monte would have beaten Turner now. A week ago, a day ago, I would have agreed about Taylor but her speech made me more in favor of her. As you know, I never thought Monte would win. If he was up against Turner it definitely would have been closer. He might have won because I don't think the jury really liked Turner.
My long post just jumped back on my screen somehow!
When Monte picked her I thought Taylor would get the women's votes but Monte would win 5-4.
After her speech I thought Joseph would vote for Taylor which would make her win 5-4.
I never expected her to win 8-1 and I REALLY never expected her to win America's favorite.
On another note when Julie interviewed the players from last year they all thought she would win if she made it to the final 2.
For the first time today I listened to a Big Brother podcast which was about the finale. They all said that they expected Taylor to win weeks ago if she made it to the finale.
They all watched the live feeds and they loved her!

I just typed up this long post about the finale and then my computer went haywire and I lost it.
Here is the condensed version:
I thought when it was Taylor and Monte in the final 2, Monte would win 5-4. I thought girls would vote Taylor and guys would vote Monte.
After her speech I thought Joseph would switch his vote and Taylor would win 5-4.
I NEVER though Taylor would win America's favorite.
Welllll, I had it figured right down until the stupid ending. In what world does sleeping with a guy to get him to drag you to the finals equal "entitlement"??
The lesson of the season is, don't play the best game or win pretty much anything, just sleep with the guy who does, then make a rousing speech about how a black woman needs to win this.
I can only imagine her speech is Monte was white.
She won 8 to 1!!!! That makes no sense. I predicted to the spousal it would be 5-4 Monte. I was speechless and the spousal vowed to never watch again.
Why are we always arguing over minutae?
I wasn't saying there were only 3. I was merely mentioning that 3 of the people left were ones I had picked to be final 3.
Either way, not worth the extra posts.
I just said we are down to the 3 I expected.
That’s my point. We are down to 4, not 3.
It’s up to Monty who the final 3 will be.
If he keeps Brittany, she won’t bring him to the finale.
If he keeps Turner, he probably won’t bring him to the finale.
If Taylor wins on finale night, the only way she may bring him to the finale is if the other choice is Turner but even that is questionable.
Monty needs to keep winning in order to win the whole thing IMO.
Yes, but you omitted the rest. Ya gotta read down to the very end. That's where the meat is!

So, here we are...down to the 3 I expected it to be long ago. Gotta wonder what's going through their minds?
I think Taylor is thinking, "just sleep with Monte and he's taking me to final 2".
And Monte is thinking...."Hey! I'm a lock for final 2 AND I get to sleep with Taylor!"
And Turner is thinking..."Do I take the shot to boot Monte? Would it look bad to break our alliance? Do I have the votes without him? Do I have a better shot with him on the Jury or Taylor? Have I ticked off pretty much everyone in my goodbye messages?
Will the Jury be vindictive or appreciate my strategy?
I gave odds for all 4
