The more the company says ,the worse they make it fer retail share holders.
Play a real company and this is the result
Just goes to show Skinny Cow was a fluke and stroke of luck.
That new 14c basically says we will continue diluting as long as we can ,well thats what I got from it.
It is interesting the latest financing round was done at .001/share, so a flip from .0006 to .0009 *might* be possible at some point...
...I'm just saying technically it's been holding 0006s. With any volume could have a nice run...stock oversold
Not likely with Reverse Split looming in the next 40 or so days...but who knows
Holding these levels might see a technical bounce here
Yeah that's the problem, they are still losing a substantial amount of money every quarter which means a $250,000-$500,000 discounted-to-market equity raise every 3-6 months, as has been the course here for 2+ years
Maybe if they already had decent revenue vs. expenses numbers before an r/s.
Does anyone think that the r/s could be what they need? Bumping up the share price, be taken a tad more seriously with investors, possibly come out of this on the plus side?
They still have a product on shelves. I'm down like everyone else but I am slightly optimistic that this could be what they need to have a chance.
A 1:1000 drops the O/S down to 490k shares. I think that they may be considering a ratio somewhere between 1:100 and 1:500.
I skimmed over that section. We all know that it's going to be 1 to a 1,000 reverse split meaning an 1000 for each million. O-well we all know the rick of investing in the stock market.
From page 2 of the "Consent, Waiver and Modification Agreement" (further down in the 8-K):
"4. On or before fifty (50) days following the closing of the New Offering, the Company undertakes to effectuate a reverse split in the ratio of a range of one new Share of Common Stock for each outstanding two Shares of Common Stock up to one new share of Common Stock for each outstanding one thousand Shares of Common Stock, and to reserve on behalf of the Purchasers within one business day after the effectuation of the reverse split the amount of Common Stock necessary for the Company to comply with all reservation obligations owed to Purchasers."
Anywhere between 1:2 and 1:1000.

I couldn't find a 1 for a 1.000 reverse split. I found this
In connection with the financing, the Company agreed to increase the conversion rate of the outstanding Series C Preferred Stock from one share to five shares of common stock and to effectuate a reverse stock split prior to November 20, 2015. If the appropriate filings are not made by such time to take such actions, Alpha Capital Anstalt has the right to declare such failure an event of default pursuant to its secured convertible promissory note and to also require the Company to purchase its Series C
Hard to answer that..all financing now has a cost basis of .001 per share. Probably a safe bet to get out around that price either pre or post-RS. Anything else is just guesswork. Personally I think .0007 is oversold (30% discount to latest financing) so I wouldn't settle that low.
Jala is doing a R/S? I just read 1 for 1000? I dumped a lot into this stock as i'm sure a lot of people have, my question is: if the R/S is 1 for 1000 and you have 1,000,000 shares you will end up with 1000 shares which will be worthless really, would it be better to try and sell the 1,000,000 now?
Hi pristine. Sorry, it was Hart with whom i spoke. Hope all is well with you!
Hart said the same thing, one of the main reasons I decided to exit given then chance when we ran close to .01. It was invetible with the need for more financing and the lower share price. Sadly, $250,000 won't last very long, so they will continue to finance at lower and lower conversion prices after the reverse split, and the process will repeat itself over and over This stock has no value for shareholders, it's simply a vehicle for management to raise $ to keep their business afloat as long as they can find someone to finance every 3-6 months.
Too bad about the r/s especially since JALA has a great product. However, earlier this year I did post here that when asked, Sam Pugliese was up front with me in a phone conversation about there being a very strong possibility of a r/s occurring before the end of this year. GLTA
what a disaster at this point theres no point in touching my money may as well leave it
Terrible...
New round of financing $250K @ .001.
Last round of financing (Dec 2014)gets conversion priced lowered to .001.
C preferred shares get a 5:1 conversion rate
Reverse split
Just wow Sorry longs
I know, I eat them all the time.
The web site is sure nice. I hadn't looked at it in a while.
No one knows. No updates from the company for a long time. We need some updates from mgmt about expansion.
jalabars.com....go to twitter and look at retroflame tweet....thought it was a nice tweet for JALA....
Can you post a link? Thx
nice tweet about jala sandwiches.....
Interesting, MAXM just joined the bid with over 2 million, never seen him before on JALA.
social media is still working...anything else still going on...? is the product still for sale...?
just nothing going on to even comment about....i wish there was...
zzzzzzzzzzzz
Is the excitement gone.
I think BK is just around the corner or a R/S to get the share price up for funding...that or take more toxic debt....
yes, it is tough being in one small area of the country at the moment. would like to see expansion, but can't really do that with $$....
Sure it is risky, they drop the product and zero sales...although sales are pretty much nothing now.The cost to make those sales are triple to the actual sales
might be right on some things, but the 100% is because of distributor (C&S Wholesalers). a little DD makes that an easy find....100% with the distributor is not a negative at this point.....
jala in a confirmed toxic debt spiral...companys broke , cost of sales are far greater then sales and 1 customer is solely responsible for 100% of the little bit of revs the company makes....stocks heading for the trips and a R/S
Yeah, not happy about the pps, but nobody spends that kind of money if they don't think this is going up. There was a little over 7 million on the ask at .002.
Did you see those BUYS !!!
I tried really hard to get some 18s. Even tried "bashing" on BB's Stock Haven. LOL! Oh well.
Maybe they meant that their one big customer us a distributor that has many hands out there and distributes to many retailers
