Thermosphere weekly chart. Spaceweather.com is a great site for all kinds of atmospheric and solar information. I wanted to post a chart, so this one reflects my opinion.

You as well Sir. May your blessings be multiplied.
I think that is a mostly correct assessment.
Springtime the "for sale" signs averaged about 2 weeks or LESS before they sold. Now i see signs up for months. All of the late bloomers decided to sell at the "top" and I think they are late, overpriced, and may take less than they wanted by next year. The smaller, flipper houses are standing vacant the longest (poorer neighborhoods). Rents/leases are $200+ per 100 sq ft. Out of national news, Nashville got 5000 Amazon Tech jobs coming. average salary 150k..so what I see may be short term.
Most popular neighborhoods have very few homes for sale and what does sell gets a tear down and new build. The ironic thing is a loophole in the building code here that allows up to 4 homes to be built on a lot. Small and medium developers are buying these 40s, 50s era houses on .75acre to 2 acres and putting in multiple "tall/skinnys" 5 ft side separation, 30 ft front to back setbacks and making 7 times their investment on one lot. Reminds me of row housing in Chicago or Philly actually. A group of these caught on fire this year and I think that game will dry up in a short while, because of the REAL dangers. Millennial's love this type of housing though.
The workload is odd? One of our best customers is a high end refrigerator/freezer manufacturer. They have my dept (cnc machinery) very busy cutting a lot of metal. The rest of the shop is rather slow. The cnc dept also produces the patterns, that keeps the pattern shop, foundry, and mold shop busy. We aren't making a lot of patterns at the moment. That generally leads to a slower period in the not so distant future. You build top dollar homes for the high end customer. Right now, that's the customer keeping us hopping.
When the economy sucks, it's good for those who have, that can scoop up things on the cheap. Those who have not, suffer the most. Could that be what we are seeing?

The R is a percentage ratio not the actual count, IMO.
Double top may be too harsh. I still think it will roller coaster with large volatility swings, wider waves maybe too. A lot of talk about the yield curve inverting, trade war. But the Fed has a LOT to reverse.
Busy as a bee here myself! Doubt it gets too terrible, too fast Percentage wise its not quite 10 yrs ago.
I'll always have a special place in my heart for that genius.
I'm pretty sure he's still kicking. I know his real name and did an obituary search. So far...no results!!!
That's what your photo is? lol I was looking at that today, scratching my head and wondering?
As far as a double top? I have my doubts. It could be, but I doubt if we would be as busy as we are at work, if the economy was going to crap that fast.
Funny you say that. My wife said I need to take a trip to Kansas and find that genius...and find out if he needs any help. I hope he is well.
You ALL have helped me learn quite a lot. YOU took a LOT of time to show me technical philosophy and ball control like a good QB. GB made me look at charts upside down, tunnels, boogies, and simplicity. The 50 degree wedge in my photo(and golf bag), is a tribute to that upbringing. I'm still a "teenager" and make some bad decisions, Butt...I'm still looking to learn more when I can.
Double Top?
That darn GB, my 401k was doing well....until today.
GM Sir, I was looking at your $NYSI:$NYA50 chart and noticed that I had it wrong. I don't have a clue what the R at the end of $NYA50 does? It makes the numbers much higher. The price movement between the two is identical.
I'm going to make another post in reference to this one, and sticky note it. I think you are on to something. I'd like to study it thru thick and thin market conditions. Thanks for the idea!
Thanks to GB, the 401k is at an all time high.
So are the engines to power the SLS. +488 dow futures?? :)
The tunnel is a very powerful tool. What I've found by studying it, is that it's great for trend following. When the trend is in? it works extremely well.
Similar in my mind, a bit harder maybe for me to see at the moment. I see it as moving back toward the middle of the bolli, though, on the daily chart. Teetering around there looking for a positive, but repeating this pattern in a wider time span(style/size of wave).
I'm willing to learn some more, time permitting. I need to get past emotions.
Have been fighting off some emotions, in my opinions, about my original theory about this coming February having a large draw down in the markets. Oil is doing now what I thought it would do later.(would they be trying to globally break down the frackin pumpers again)
The way I see that chart, it "should" repeat with the larger waves. I see a backtest of the 400 possible, but more likely edging toward upper bolli (above 280 at that point) first.
I checked something I have been studying harder from some old posts and this crossed through the tunnel which looks like it will soon flip 144 over 169. In my mind reinforcing positive divergence and cheap fuel at holiday travel time.
Speaking of patterns? Will this repeat? There is positive divergence again. One note about patterns that I've observed. They often will repeat, but with smaller or larger waves. The size of the moves vary, and they don't always go the same direction. It's odd how it works. I've even seen the pattern repeat, but completely inverse.
Did you do any good in Kentucky?
Do you see the pattern? It's there. Will I jinx it? only if I don't wear my winter beanie cap.
If it looks too good to be true? It probably is. On the other hand, if it looks like a steaming pile of you know what? Don't stick your finger in it and lick it.
Thank you kind sir! Seeing no need to change my view point yet. Will keep an eye on it for a while though.
I looked through all 11 of the funds available in the 401K and they all look like a weak heart beat.. until I look at the 1 year, 5 year, and max time frame charts on them. 3 dipped under "support lines". Down since January. Those 30 day stipulations seem like dud options expiration days. LOL
$TREP, check on $TREP, there are some amazing DD's on $TREP.
Hello Sir,
If I can get this chart to post the way it should?.. would you be able to post an extended time frame daily chart for say back at least before the February dip(or more than 12 months) ? $NYSI:$NYA50 using SMA 19,SMA 39, and SMA 50. MACD(12,26,9), ADX line (w/+DI and -DI).
If it's too much? no problem, don't worry about..just thinking about something I'm not quite sure of yet.(making my brain work though some things I got lazy on) TIA,SC

Hi Buddy! I've always thought my memory was fairly decent.....until I met you. You have a memory unlike anything I've ever seen. I'm amazed that you would remember that.
My goal was always to hit the hot bite, and catch a fish big enough to break me off without fighting it properly. That didn't mean switching to two pd test either, lol.
The only time I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing the spotted bass, was when you took me out on the Cumberland River. You told me they dig like no other, and they were a lot of fun. That trip will always be special.
Yes sir, that would certainly be feasible with proper trading skills, sound technique and a little bit of luck once in a while. :)
That sounds like good times. I was thinking about your philosophy of catching the biggest fish you can. Someone sent me a you tube channel "TheMullettRun" where this guy is catching 400+ lb grouper in a canal down in Florida off of the dock! Bad camera work, but some really big fish, if you can sit through 15 minutes of footage.....or fast forward towards the end.
Take care, later cs
it sounds like a nice place, especially if one was related. I have a fondness for all of those fish.
I say learn to trade, and learn to trade well. That way, anywhere you have internet access? You can make a good living.
I got the pleasure of welcoming the day in with a muskie on a buzzbait at sunrise today. Then I watched my buddy land two more in the next hour. You'd have to work fairly hard to wipe this smile off my face.
Howdy Sir,
Yes, very nice lake too. They say there are some muskies, smallies, walleye, Ky spotted bass. I can only confirm spotted bass after this brief trip...I do plan to go back at some point.
Campsites were nicely shaded in the section we stayed. This section was full too. The bathrooms were dated and in need of repair. Camp host said they were trying to raise funding for the update, but didn't know when. It's a Corp of Engineers area, the state park is several miles down lake.
The other section of the campground was mostly open and I personally would only camp in that half late fall or early spring due to temperature and bright sunshine. It had new bathrooms and hot water showers, though.
We walked to those showers half mile away. Only about 10 campsites were being used in this area. Only half dozen sites were shaded enough for my liking.
When we were driving up we took a scenic route. I saw a lot of soybean fields doing well, corn fields looked fair to poor, tobacco fields in good shape. We were trying to figure out, if one wasn't a farmer, how to make a living there locally? Mechanic, Plumber, HVAC tech, and Welder seemed to have the most prosperous looking shops. I saw a very clean, 8-10 bay mechanic shop in the middle of nowhere, 20 miles outside of Campbellsville, full of cars and dozens waiting to be fixed or picked up.
Closer we got to a town: grocer, lumber mill, lawyer, car dealer, banker. Those businesses all seemed to have the same last name too. Whoever that family is, I would say they have a say in what happens around there. LOL
Hey Mr. Smallie, was the scouting trip fruitful?
I like the way you think. We did go a lot further out and considerably further north than normal. He said that there were a lot of fish present on the electronics, they just weren't active. This is the time to go with the good stuff, not experiment. I finally looked him in the eye, grunted "yeaaaaaaaaah", and he shut up. He wasn't a big guy, and I'm pretty sure I could take him. We almost found out, lol.
I would think with the winds blowing for those days before, that the current from the backwash off of the south bank make those fish drift further north than typical.
I could be wrong (which is a given), but I like to think outside the box with fishing theory. It took me years to overcome "same stuff different day".
I was wondering the same thing about the number of spoons those fish have seen? I won't deny that they work. They do. I have absolutely, positively, no single doubt in my mind. I could do as well or better with a much more natural presentation.
When we first got there, he was singing the blues. They had been getting pounded with a strong nw wind for 3 days straight. Lake MI is 400 miles long and mostly straight north and south. That wind and waves hammer the southern side.
The wind died down the day before we got there, and 3 boats went out in the afternoon. All 3 got skunked. He took a crew out that morning, and they managed to catch 3. Lake trout are there "go too" fish when things get tough. He asked if we were interested in going out and catching trout that afternoon? We weren't even slightly interested, so he agreed to try something different for salmon.
We caught a respectable 3 yr old king fairly soon after we started our trolling pass. Then nothing, for 30-45 minutes. I pulled out my bag of baits and asked if we could put it on one of the lines. After all, there were 9 lines out, and nothing was happening. My bait looks very close to an alewive, which is a primary food source for the Kings we wanted. He told me that junk doesn't work here, and then talked down to me like I was dumber than I look. ( I know, hard to do.)
It is fun catching fish up to 13 pds or so? I'm done reeling in fish somebody else hooks. I want to try and solve the puzzle too.
Hmmmmm, he missed out. How many boats captains on that lake are doing the same proven method at the same time? I bet a bunch of them. Oh well, it keeps the big smallies off. ;) At least you had a good time and have fish in the freezer.
I was in Kentucky over the weekend scouting campsites, Green River Lake, and working on my fire building and outdoor cooking skills. I needed that day and a half of relaxing to make it to Labor Day. lol
