I'll check out BOSC. I like BNSO because it seems to resemble Hong Kong based GAI, on which I made a large gain by holding through to the closing a going-private offer from the CEO and his family. Mr. Market was skeptical, and buying opportunities arose even after the offer was announced (though I was all-in by then). Like GAI, BNSO appears to be a stumbling Hong Kong tech company with no debt, substantial cash and under-utilized real estate. I think it has good medium term prospects for some sort of exit. I'm looking to get back in at 1.85.

Hong Kong stocks are dangerous, transparency better than mainland stocks, but a challenge depending on their real doings, other than their groupings into a low float hierarchy which can trade in a news vacuum connected to cloudy sensing's.

Just cancelled a Buy order at 1.90 as a result of Bonso's amended annual report filing today. Their CEO Andrew So declares he has identified weaknesses in their financial reporting that caused entries not be made, and has undertaken steps to shore those up, with the implication that their current financial statements are materially incorrect....
