After having a beer, the customer asks >>

The bartender for the tab. "$3" says the bartender.

The customer wants to have a little fun with the guy so he places a one dollar bill in front of him and the other two at the opposite ends of the bar.

The bartender gives him a dirty look but has no choice but to pick them up. This goes on for the next several days and each time the bartender feels humiliated. The next day, the customer orders a beer but can't find three one dollar bills in his wallet to pay the bill, so he hands the bartender a $5 bill.

Now the bartender gets all excited and feels it's his time to get revenge on the asshole customer. He gives the customer his $2 in change by placing them at the opposite ends of the bar, and with a shrewd smile and all the excitement of a kid at Christmas, he says to the customer, "Well, go ahead, pick up your change."

The man then takes a $1 Bill from his pocket, places it on the bar and Says "One more beer, please."

The two ‘intoxicated’ men were arrested after police say an officer spotted the couch being towed behind an ATV.

MIRAMICHI, N.B.—Two New Brunswick men have been arrested after allegedly going through a McDonald’s drive-thru on a couch.

Miramichi police say an officer spotted the couch, being towed behind an ATV, at 3:19 a.m. Thursday in the drive-thru.

Cpl. Lorri McEachern says the driver of the four wheeler took off after the officer turned on the lights atop his cruiser, stranding the two “intoxicated” men outside the restaurant.

She says the driver raced through the parking lot, across the highway and onto the frozen Miramichi River, still towing the couch through much of his escape.

Two local men, aged 28 and 39, will face yet-to-be-determined charges.

McEachern says it is illegal to tow a couch through a drive-thru, but the two men were wearing helmets.

An Irishman's first drink with his son

While reading an article last night about fathers and sons, memories came flooding back to the time I took me son out for his first pint.

Off we went to our local pub only two blocks from the cottage. I got him a Guinness. He didn't like it, so I drank it. Then I got him a Kilkenny's, he didn't like that either, so I drank it.

Finally, I thought he might like some Harp Lager? He didn't. I drank it.

I thought maybe he'd like whiskey better than beer so I tried a Tullamore Dew.

Nope!

In desperation, I had him try that rare Redbreast, Ireland's finest.

He wouldn't even smell it.

What could I do but drink it?

By the time I realized he just didn't like to drink, I was so fookin' shit-faced I could hardly push his stroller back home!
