I would bet that part of this issue may be this.
Aventura Equities, Inc. signs Definitive agreement to acquire 100% of the outstanding stock of Aventura Laboratories, Inc. a non - affiliated entity
Non-affiliated?
Sure....
In this case, I think the suspension was due to the actions of another company -- IEquity's "clarifying" press release, combined with their website statement that they had signed an agreement to acquire control of AVNE (which was not true, as I have previously posted). So, although I understand the basis for the suspension, how can the SEC penalize AVNE long-term?
Also, opening in the grey market is usually the kiss of death, but how many of those companies were current on their filings? And check the chart of MDDD for an example of a stock that did just fine after its suspension (I am not otherwise comparing AVNE with MDDD).

Aventura Equities Inc (AVNE)
Yep, I've seen this before.......................protecting their own........but it doesn't excuse the failings of the company, if there are irregularities...............So Good, let's get it cleared up...............................I CAN WAIT.

I really hope AVNE is entirely severed from the iEquity weed companies. I got lucky and cashed out my position here yesterday...
iEquity is a large shareholder in AVNE along with penny stock promoter and SKTO IR firm Rubicon.
You need to read the SEC order for the suspension - it has nothing to do with the AVNE PR - much more involved.
Plus, SKTO and AEGY have many more red flags - and false and misleading press releases.
SKTO and AEGY are next.

FYI people. Iequity/Henry Jan does not own AVNE. So don't bash Iequity. They can cancel out still if this doesn't pan out with the SEC. This is an AVNE issue not and Iequity issue. My guess is that they saw how AVNE and SKTO had 2 different PRs and not on same page and that freaked them out. All will be fine and Iequity can backout at anytime if they don't like what AVNE is doing.
It is about the riskiest flip there is. As for long term...suggest that you look at the last 100 suspensions of active tickers by the SEC and see how things look long term.
they were suspended in may 2012
not surprised one bit , most likely the FTD'S REG/SHO #3210 list got their attention... imho

But in this case the engine blew up, the transmission fell out and the gas tank just caught fire....all at the same time.
Yes, headed to death valley.................until they are able to get some market markers to move the stock................NOT GOOD.

10 days... Begins trading again March 19th on the Grey Market.
It will reopen for trading on the greys on March 19. That is guaranteed. How long it takes to actually start trading and at what pps is another question....
Hope you didn't get crushed. I know when these happen it can be awhile till it re-opens.
No biggie?? LOL! the SEC takes it's 10 day Suspensions VERY seriously.
This stock is in a world of trouble...
No biggie
I take it you are not familiar with what an SEC suspension does to an OTC stock?
And this is about a lot more than paperwork.
It will re-open for trading at the open on March 19 on the GREY market. There will be no bid/ask and it will only be matched trades. Expect it to trade ... if it does... 40-90% lower.
Alot of times paperwork doesn't match perfectly to what the P/R...No biggie...
Empty Bones, What is going ion here?
Well it is now going to be a grey market stock ...
...it's done.
Normal, communication error....
I guess my comments about the financials that got lambasted by all the Hipple / Jan crew were not off after all. I was right, the financials were seriously in departure of GAAP. But I was told repeatedly that I did not know what I was talking about.
To bad that a colleague (CPA) of mine who does PCAOB audits with KPMG was sitting right next to me when I posted those comments.
I guess the SEC agreed with me.
I still stand by my comments on Hipple/Jan's other issuer. They will never file a registration there, because their financials are abrasive and brash. I could see the largest laundry list of comments ever issued by the SEC.
Jan, you might want to get a prepaid ticket to Brazil and make sure your passport is current.
First shot at the iEquity kingdom perhaps?

Most of the time companies see a nice pop after a forward split due to the increased liquidity and I see no reason AVNE will not have similar results.

After the split where do you guys think the pps will be?
Yes, should be positive, but neutral at worst. Now that SKTO and AEGY got their merger announcement out today, I expect to see a PR from SKTO or IEquity shortly, clarifying that Aventura Labs - which AVNE is acquiring - does indeed own everything that AVNE said it does.
Aventura Equities Inc (AVNE)
Thanks, so as a positive then. More shares, more volatility, more potential, more of a chance for more, and more and more money's.
GO AVNE............

"I will keep my bit for the split......................FORWARD"
Having more shares available to trade, and a lower stock price, should both tend to increase the trading volume (even more than 9x what it was before the split, in this case). That's why companies often say that they're doing a split to increase liquidity, even though it shouldn't make any difference strictly from a mathematical standpoint.
Also, a lower-priced stock is seen by many retail investors as more likely to double or triple, which can also make it more promotable.
Aventura Equities Inc (AVNE)
Correct nine for every 1 you hold, however more shares now go into the float. How does the market look upon such additions?
GO FIGURE
"peace"
No, that is not correct. In a 9:1 split, a holder of one share ends up with 9. That means 8 new shares, not 9 new shares.
And this is NOT dilution. Please look up the term in a good financial dictionary. Dilution is a reduction of one's percentage ownership in a company, whereas with a split all the percentages remain the same.
AVNE - Per the last AVNE press release. As you'll see, many of our products are on the Pharmajanes website. (AEGY)

I think we're on the same page.. I understand how a forward split works. And there will be news and a pump to accompany it. Forward splits are almost always hugely bullish
