Hilton was on CNBC and said that while weekends are 100% the middle of the week is 70% since the business traveler has a ways to go.
Even though he cited some conventions appearing in some cities.

Institutional ownership has increased and only a matter of time CEO will stop drawing down. He talked about it in the conference call and the transcript available online.
AHT is a ticking time bomb + shorts will need to cover soon.
For me its more of a long term outlook.

What’s the best way to kind of take advantage of that exposure maybe or enthusiasm for lack of a better term? Is it through issuing through the CETA or other ways, I guess you can’t do the ATM right now, when you have rallies in the stock to kind of hit that bid? And how quickly can you move on that?

Yes. It’s a good question. I mean we obviously have gotten some traction with retail shareholders. There is a lot of benefits that come from that. I mean, obviously, our trading volume has been significantly improved. By the – I said, the tension from the retail crowd. That, I think, is – could be a great benefit to our shareholders over time to be able to build position and get positions as needed. (continues with gibberish)

Hey, good morning guys. I think the original SEDA agreement maybe expires really soon. And I was curious as to whether you have any other kind of ATM or other equity issuance programs kind of in effect for the rest of this quarter right now?

Chris, it’s Deric. So just to be clear, the SEDA that we put in place, we have exhausted, and we have raised the equity was allocated for that SEDA. We did have a second equity line that was put in place, which has also been exhausted. So I don’t think we’re ready to provide any comments in terms of what we could do next or what might happen from here. But I just want to be clear that everything that we have put out there at this point has been exhausted from an equity rating standpoint.

Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc.'s first-quarter results fell below Wall Street estimates as its chief executive said rising Covid-19 cases and tightened travel restrictions, especially in Europe and Asia Pacific, weighed on demand in January and February, though it saw improvement in March and April.

The hotel chain on Wednesday posted a net loss attributable to shareholders of $108 million for the first quarter, compared with a profit of $18 million in the comparable quarter last year. It posted a loss of 39 cents a share, compared with earnings of six cents a share in the year-ago period.

Adjusted earnings were two cents a share. Analysts polled by FactSet were expecting seven cents a share.

Revenue fell to $874 million from $1.92 billion, below the $1.09 billion analysts had expected.

With the recent improvement in demand, President and Chief Executive Christopher Nassetta said "we expect this positive momentum to continue as vaccines are more widely distributed and our customers feel safe traveling again."

Systemwide comparable revenue per available room, an industry metric tracking performance that also is known as RevPAR, fell 38.4%. Europe RevPAR fell 75.9%, U.S. RevPAR fell 36.6% and Americas RevPAR, excluding the U.S., fell 54.6%. Asia Pacific RevPAR fell 6.6%, and the metric in the Middle East and Africa declined 31.9%.

Average daily rate, another performance indicator that tracks average revenue per occupied room, fell 23%, the company said. Occupancy declined 11 percentage points globally and 9.9 percentage points in the U.S., while Asia Pacific

BREAKING NEWS AP: $AHT Ashford Hospitality Trust Inc. (AHT) on Tuesday reported a loss in a key measure in its first quarter. The results beat Wall Street expectations.

The Dallas-based real estate investment trust said it had a funds from operations loss of $29.7 million, or 30 cents per share, in the period.

The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a funds from operations loss of 75 cents per share.

Funds from operations is a closely watched measure in the REIT industry. It takes net income and adds back items such as depreciation and amortization.

The company said it had a loss of $91.6 million, or $1.10 per share.

The hotel owner posted revenue of $115.8 million in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $114.5 million
