Hey Sam,
First off, I work for IBM, so I have first hand knowledge of the impact Aradyme is making in the market place, especially as it relates to HAVA (Help America Vote Act). I dont doubt their market gains, my concerns relate to their cash position and ability to gain further funding without diluting shares.
Second, while a mention in PeterLeeds may do the stock some short-term good, this is really nothing to brag about. Unless PeterLeeds is going to lend Aradyme some money at no cost, this really isnt news.
I like the product, and the idea. I think the technology is great. We just need to see how this management team can use it to build a solid company with earnings.
I look forward to getting this stock moving. I dont presently own any shares, because I think they are going to have to dilute significantly with a private placement just to keep the doors open. Either that, or they could be bought out.
Best of luck to you, and thanks for the post.
Two new developments since my last post:
1) Aradyme Corp. (OTCBB: ADYE - News), a next-generation database company, today announced that it has secured a contract for data migration services with ista, the market leader for the submetering and billing of water and energy consumption for more than 10 million homes worldwide and 750,000 in the United States.
This release suggests that Aradyme has penetrated a new industry with its data migration solution.
2), I've been able to identify that Peter Leeds has recently assessed Aradyme's opportunities.
Importantly, "Peterleeds.com does not accept any compensation from the companies [they] research... and [they] have no personal stake or vested interest in any of the companies [they] profile."
Peter Leeds reports that he is "the leader in:
Profits - Average gain (last three years) is an
industry-leading 120% &
Accuracy - Last year, over 90% of our picks posted
positive gains."
Barron's magazine made the following comments about peterleeds.com:
"It's updated daily, and chock-full of tips. The approach works for investors who like to be told what to invest in and why, by someone who has already done the legwork and who has a credible track record."
Aradyme signs additional contract with Covansys
State of Nevada added to the list of states for which Aradyme will use its Data Migration capabilties. Previously announced states for which The Data Migration Navigator has been or will be used include:
Kansas, Idaho, Missouri, Wisconsin, Virginia, New Hampshire, & Utah
*It should be noted that The Data Migration Navigator (DMN) is only one productization of Aradyme's core technology and that HAVA is a single initiative in an industry where statistics reflect that "83% of data migrations either fail outright, or exceed their alloted budgets and implementation schedules."
On January 29, 2005, Aradyme Corporation ("Aradyme") signed a subcontract agreement with Covansys Corporation to provide data migration services for the delivery of voter registration and election management solutions for the State of Nevada to help the state comply with the National Help America Vote Act of 2002, or HAVA.
According to the terms of the agreement, Aradyme will provide the data migration services needed to cleanse, validate, convert and consolidate all of the county voter registration databases to a new statewide system to comply with the Help America Vote Act (HAVA) of 2002. These data migration services are made possible because of the flexibility of Aradyme's underlying next-generation database technology. Aradyme's services will include data extraction from the source, cleansing and normalization of the data for consistency, data validation against independent data sources, and loading of the data into a new central voter registration system.
The working relationship of Aradyme with Covansys and the State of Nevada is expected to continue through the end of 2005.
Araydme (OTCBB:ADYE) signs agreement with Unisys (NYSE:UIS)
Aradyme Signs Subcontract Agreement with Unisys; Initial Contract for Data Migration Services 1/13/2005 8:35:00 AM
AMERICAN FORK, Utah, Jan 13, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Aradyme Corporation (OTCBB:ADYE), a next-generation database company, today announced that it has signed an agreement and secured an initial contract with Unisys (NYSE:UIS), the worldwide information technology services and solutions company, to provide data migration services for the Virginia State Board of Elections. The total value of the contract remains undisclosed for competitive reasons.
Unisys, which currently employs more than 37,000 people in more than 100 countries has been selected by Virginia as the primary contractor to implement the new Virginia Election and Registration Information System (VERIS).
As a Unisys subcontractor, Aradyme will provide the data migration services to validate, standardize and migrate Virginia's statewide voter registration database (which includes voter data from 134 different localities and 4.2 million active registered voters) to the new system. VERIS is being implemented to comply with the Help America Vote Act (HAVA) of 2002. These data migration services from Aradyme are made possible because of the flexibility of the company's underlying next-generation database technology.
"We selected Aradyme because they have established a solid reputation in the industry for delivering quality data migration services on-time and on-budget through the use of their next-generation technology. We believe that by combining Unisys expertise in consulting and integration with Aradyme's expertise in data migration, we'll be able to deliver a superior election management solution," said William K. Batcher, director of Election Services at Unisys.
"Unisys is a clear leader in worldwide information technology services. We are excited to be partnering with an organization of Unisys caliber and we look forward to having a long-term relationship with them," said James R. Spencer, chief executive officer of Aradyme Corporation.
Unisys and Aradyme's implementation efforts with Virginia are expected to continue through the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2005.
The Aradyme/Unisys alliance is the latest in a series of major alliances with industry leaders recently announced by Aradyme. For more information on these announcements, visit http://www.aradyme.com.
