Applied Energetics, Inc., formerly Ionatron, Inc., are pioneers in photonic and high-voltage energetics technology. Headquartered in Tuscon, Arizona, we are a passionate creative team of scientists and engineers who understand the power and limits of physics and put that knowledge to work, providing unprecedented options and capabilities for our customers.
Utilizing our proprietary knowledge of high performance lasers, high-voltage electronics, advanced adaptive optics and atmospheric and plasma energy interactions, we develop cutting edge technologies to deliver innovative solutions for critical military missions.

Founded in 2002, Applied Energetics is the exclusive developer of Laser Guided Energy (LGE©) and Laser Induced Plasma Channel (LIPC™) technologies. These revolutionary technologies can precisely transmit high voltage electrical charges by using a laser to create a conductive path in the atmosphere. This technique can deliver tailored weapon and countermeasure effects to targets with laser accuracy and manageable lethality, reducing the potential for inadvertent injury and collateral damage. By harnessing the power of a lightning bolt, we introduce new possibilities for precision, safety and impact, on and off the battlefield.

Through our technologies and products Applied Energetics is committed to building a world that's safer, more secure; sustainable and efficient; innovative and dynamic. In a short span of time we've learned a lot and made extraordinary strides in an uncharted and challenging field. Find out more about our company by learning about our past, our leadership, and our vision for the future.
