Yes it is , Im long term on ABCW. The states finantial position is in the black. All three branches of Govt. controlled by Repubs, will only get better. IMO
Happy to see some positive movement today.
Yes, I am. With Walker in at Gov, it will be more buisness friendly. Control of all three branches of state govt.
Anyone from Wisconsin? Like to get some "boots on the ground" information about how the economy is doing up there.
most of my holdings are in IRE...cant say that has worked out real well. Hoping since Wilbur Ross is now an owner, it will move up. I also bought some GRAN on the merger with FNBN. Currently, GRAN is about 50% undervalued with the merger price. Just my humble opinion. Maybe some are putting a risk premium on the merger not happening or not being approved.
Yes ABCW is a long term stock for me. Took a quick glance at your second stock. Looks interesting.
I like the gains...took positions in BAC and LYG today. just fyi...still holding abcw long......
Well that is good news.I did end up buying for the long haul. Lets see where it goes.
Yes I debated when bid at .66 and ask at .68. Held off luckily. I saw GRAN yesterday was actually going to set to buy last night, but, for got and went to bed. I believe it was up .13 when I woke up. Will wait for a little drop in that to jump in. GLTY
Honestly, Looks grim for the near term. Need a partner, capital buyout, merger, or a RS. I am betting someone wants to have a big piece of WI banking system. Cheap way to do it is to buy out shares and bonds of bagholders. IE ticker GRAN and FNBN Just my opinion.
Yes, I believe your correct. But Milwaukee & Madison are different than the rest of state. I'll likely hold a small amount for a while. What do you think they will, or can do to raise share price? Been below a dollar for a while now, have to do something to stay listed, dont they? If a had a better idea of whats comming, I might buy more, and hold long term. Any thoughts? Thanks
Ive been in and out of this stock a few times...bought around .68 sold at over a buck. I like these smaller banks, I think alot of people prefer a small bank. Wisconsin is the perfect market for this type of bank. I may go long from here.
I added some today...At these levels it feels like a small gamble to the downside...large upside.
NASDAQ shows down trend turned sideways, possible bottom? But it also says no support below .64,any thoughts?
LOL, sadly I believe your right. Ive only been playing, nickel ,dime til volume
I sent ABCW's info to Carlyle Group. Capitalizing them would be chump change.
Looks like me and budda are the only ones that care.
go for it and add me as a co-mod.....
Sorry, I need four current posts to MOD.
Its been going .68 to .72 for a while, buy 68 sell 72 intraday. Small money, but profitabl.e
bought back in Friday...lol...good call.
Earnings were not great. However they were in line with other "peers" in the same group. Gonna take some time to work through some of the nonperforming assets. The good news is that the FED has stated they do not want to be paid back. They want ABCW to keep the capital and work on capital reserves. Currently, I own ABCW, SBCF and GRAN. All small banks that have been overlooked.
I saw on a diffrent site there were 2.2m shares shorted for ABCW. I thought I saw a 500,000 go through today, any thoughts on Volume. Ive only been trading since july, just trying to pick some brains to help me learn. Thank You
Hello, Im guessing must be very good news comming tomorrow. I bought in at 1.33, was very suprised to wake up and see how well ABCW was doing. Im assuming pullback tomorrow, your thoughts?

long link...basically the Fed does not want them to repay loan yet.
Chart looks ripe. Im going long...hit me in the endzone.
ABCW is on a wild ride, I got in on a tip from a website @ $1.04 and it's still going, almost up 50% since I got in. Now at $1.47

Thanks, I picked this stock up couple weeks ago and no one was managing the board. I stepped up for the job. What impresses me most about this bank is that they have made big improvements on nonperforming assets. Also they have put the Fed off on payments. Working that free capital to the fullest. Im expecting great things here and im long on the stock from here. Wish all great returns and low taxes.
copy this chat link and send it out...lets get it moving.
Article...bank is improving.
