Good looking stock cant wait tell it starts moving
This thing is starting to show signs of life.
Just a little news as to whats going on would get this thing moving. This is one of three Energy stocks I'm holding. Thinking if just one lands a contract or starts putting oil in their books; I'll make out.
Anyone able to contact the company. I have a sizable stake in this company. With just a little news, this bad boy will take off. The share structure looks good and the L2 is paper thin.
Outstanding Shares 54,278,002 as of May 14, 2008

A lonnnggg time ago. No one even knows if this thing is still in operation.
I would call first as part of any DD.
WP
If oil prices keep rise, this bad boy could come back to life.
Looks like it.
Is thing even alive?
WP
someone just dumped 120k shares
P&D coming maybe.
WP
volume picking up. possibly some action starting. looking for a run
yes, but they have to PR anything positive. wells, selling interests, etc. if they folded up last June because of the economy? whats going to get them to even spud a loser well now. I have watched the new base here at .0045-.005 but how long will that last? I don't know. JMO.
Looks like a good point to buy. l2 is really thin. with a little volume this could run. imo
MMs have seller & they are destroying it. How do you go from .0035 to .002 on 38,000 shares sold yesterday. At .002 the entire float could be bought at $120K!
I tried to look it up too during the weekend. It seems to me that even the address of AWEC (in Washington) is something wrong. This company is going down.
Market cap is only $360K now. Aren't the property leases worth more than that?
I hope you do too! I try to stay away from pennies, but I'll try one more time.
hehe you wish
Cool!
I may just break even!
WP
Currently, our partnering analyst John Myers, believes that Ameriwest Energy (OTCBB:AWEC) is extremely undervalued. To view his report on why he thinks AWEC could show early investors over 300% gains...........
That doesn't help me one bit. Is the report good or bad.
Bellwether has paid report on AWEC,
http://www.bellwetherreport.com/index.php?id=79
i guess it is better to just hold it for next move.
Does anyone know anything about this stock. I'm a newbie and I bought it in 6/08 when it was .78/a share. Even the website no longer exists. I keep holding on hope against hope that it will go up. I guess since I've already lost 95% of my investment, it would hurt to hold on, but there is absolutely no news about AWEC that I can find.
Yup.
'Bout time for a Beacon alert, pump and dump methinks.
WP
a company without any cash flow! how wonderful could that be?!
this really sucks.
I like this stock with the price of oil climbing.
AWEC could really move up with some good moves in oil and or some good news!
sorry, I have no Float info, please call TA
I am new here as of today. AWEC moves up very fast with just alittle volume. Can anyone tell me what the float is?
I called the TA, and they sold another 18,000,000 shares.
OS 71,443,280
AS 700,000,000
I also talked to Bill Allen the new CEO, and he said that he came on board, and everyone left him holding the bag. The company has no money. Sorry for the bad news. Please do your DD and follow-up.
Good time to load more , it will bounce once the oil price up
I am not a professional investment advice provider, so I can't tell you what to do with AWEC.
Personally I'm holding half your position at 0.0371, down -73%.
From reading the "news" and filings, it appears something may have gone back with one of their guarantees. Not sure which right now, I encourage you to go back. As for the personnel changes, sometimes good comes out of chaos, but with two high-level officers leaving at the same time, who knows?
The price of oil will affect AWEC positively if they can produce effectively and ride the price increases, which hopefully should reflect in the PPS.
WP
wpo, need your advice. I am sitting on a million shares of awec, bough in at average of .04. Stock is now just above penny. I believe they are getting investors, new ceo has a great track for that, and bringing in wells.
What do you think, and what do you think high of awec will be between now and sept 2009
i also believe that awec will stay in business, and will get more investors, though i believe they are aquiring more each day, and want to stock to stay low for short term.
post or email me, love to know what you think of awec, and if you own it,and how much?
E=Delinquent in Filing with the SEC.
So,
AWECE = delinquent, or late, or had a filing rejected
AWEC = Not delinquent anymore.
May attract some investors, maybe not. Beacon has a big OIL related promo tomorrow, maybe AWEC, maybe not.
WP
What does that mean? E?
Guess not ...
Gamble now is to pick up a lot of cheapies and hope for a PR soon, or let my current "investment" fade.
WP
AWEC has lost the "E"!
Hopefully it can start to recover now if the new management gets its act together.
WP
A dead horse is still a horse but not much good. An oil company who is not doing anything is still an oil company but also not much good. The last word we heard was that they had decided not to drill in Wyoming and then had a change on the Board. Not much in the way of news, good or bad.
Is this thing dead?
Most of the board quit. Pretty cheap for an oil company with oil hovering around $70/barrel.
Comments?

Ameriwest Energy Corp. is a fast growing, exploration and development company that undertakes the development of underdeveloped oil resources and well documented exploration projects in the prolific Rocky Mountain region of the United States. The company has adopted an aggressively strategic approach targeting extensively mapped exploration plays with significant upside potential. All projects incorporate considerable historic data and are in close proximity to excellent support infrastructure.
The Company’s exploration program centers on pursuing primary production at the well-documented Geary Prospect in the Powder River Basin. Initial estimates indicate possible reserves of up to 3.15 MMBO at an averaged 175,000 gross barrels per well. Ameriwest management is also very excited with the property at Skull Valley which has been reported by Exploration Technologies Inc. (ETI) to have geological and geochemical features similar to, and with possibly greater potential than the nearby Grant Canyon field which has produced up to 30 million barrels of oil. Additional efforts include lease options at South Glenrock “C” with its potentially recoverable 4.9 million barrels of oil (MMBO) as well as ongoing production revenues and low cost capability to significantly increase production within a very short timeframe.

SKULL VALLEY: (Post, Courtesy Seasoned Oil Man)
Exploration Technologies, Inc., a third party engineering firm from Houston, Texas, identified that the similarities between the structural style (slump blocks), geologic column (reservoir rocks), and geochemical anomaly between the Grant Canyon field and the Skull Valley Prospect suggest that with almost 5000 leased acres (over 2000 acres in the heart of the geochemical anomaly) a 25 million to 35 million barrel potential is a realistic possibility.
http://www.vistageoscience.com/direct/grant_canyon.html
The Grant Canyon has produced up to date 20 MILLION BARRELS and ultimately will produce approx. 30 million barrels which is a massive on shore drilling program.
What one of my long time geologist friend told me is that Skull Valley and Grant Canyon were one combined area but through millions of years a mountain formed and split the formations.
Imagine Ameriwest becoming the next major producer, I believe they have all the fundamentals to accomplish this.
