I also checked Marketwatch and the price was ammended. The thing that puzzles me is that the chart on Yahoo still shows the drop after market closed and the Marketwatch chart shows a drop in price around 11:30am both to, I am assuming, .0647. Why would the charts both still show a drop (albeit at different times) and not be corrected to the ammended price? Also why would Marketwatch still show a low/ high of .24/ .27 if the charts are still showing price drops of 50% or so? Something does not seem to be what it appears to be with this anomaly.
I was just checking again myself and saw the price changed...but the chart still shows a big drop to .0647. If they ammended the price you would think the chart would be ammended too. Maybe somebody made a mistake with an order and typo'd the wrong amount and it got scooped up? I will need to check again tomorrow just to make sure this is not a nightmare waiting to happen.
I just checked Yahoo again and they have corrected the mistake. Sorry I raised the alarm--I should have known Yahoo was at fault. Up two pennies after all.
It has been a long time since I posted here but I was shocked to see this apparent price drop. What happened? It is on reflected on the Toronto Exchange and I checked the price about fifteen minutes before the NYSE closed and the stock was up two pennies. Unless this is just a horrible mistake, a whole lot of selling when on during the last few minutes. Someone tell me this is a mistake!
USAPF now .10 as of 5:28pm according to Yahoo and Marketwatch. Can't seem to catch a break with this stock!
Correction/Clarification
I suppose I originally bought at $1.25 a share and then I bought all the way down until I ran out of money!
At least you did not buy when I did!
The square root of 25 is $5!
That is approximately what I paid for my shares.
Seems like so long ago.
I have never sold a share of my core holding which was significant. Anyhow I am much poorer today because of what happened with the share prices of this company. I never thought that the price of Silver was going to go down so drastically. It ruined this good little company.
Hopefully if I hold on for another few years I can make a little change back. It will be all tax free money for sure, so no reason to sell now. It seems to have a bright future. Only time will tell. Just wish That the shares were not so diluted.
Thanks for your words of encouragement as I continue to hold long and strong!
Tip: The Stockhouse board is getting quite active and interesting regarding USAPF
Me too!! But at 0.04 I had the fear it would go to zero...
Ohh, no worries here. Just wishing I'd been a bit greedier a bit earlier. :)
Galena is still the best reserves in North America. It will catch wind again. You shouldn't be worried.
I find myself wishing I'd bought more when it got to .04 a couple months ago.
Interesting! Thank you!
Updated corporate presentation including 2016 guidance. There is some really good, positive info in it. http://www.americassilvercorp.com/i/pdf/presentations/presentation20160315.pdf
Glad to see it holding around $.14.
Looking good here!
Mini breakout here where is everyone?
The price of silver is less than it's selling price. Least productive mines closing down and most silver produced is a byproduct of copper or another metal being worked. Time to buy real silver and hold. Just my opinion.
So many miners are so cheap. It's a slam dunk the way this country is going.....
We are going higher. Metals are the only safe haven and this group is so oversold it's silly. Wait till the average Joe starts buying......BAM!
Up over 60% today, looking good with rise in precious metals.
With silver moving up nicely, I agree this is a buy here at these prices.
Thinking about glencore
Cutting 500,000 tons of zinc production. With us having the silver
component with the basemetal by credit we may be in a great spot if other pure basemetal plays start shutting down. Just a thought.
