On June 28, 2007, American Home Mortgage Investment Corp (NYSE: AHM) announced that it has issued in a private placement $125 million of convertible trust preferred securities to funds managed by Marathon Asset Management, LLC. The trust preferred securities pay a dividend of 9.75% per annum, and are convertible into common stock at an initial conversion price of $25.57 per share. The proceeds will be used to purchase 9.75% junior subordinated convertible debentures, due July 1, 2037, in the principal amount of $128,866,000 issued by the Company.

the confirmation hearing tomorrow was rescheduled to Feb 9th according to the Restructuring Counsel

I asked about the equity interests or the preferred and common stock, and the lady told me that she thinks that they will not be cancelled but she's going to have someone call me back to confirm

I think getting the shareholder count up is the last thing on the MMs mind, imo..He wanted to paint it down. An example would be me putting in an order for LFGRQ opening at .11 (not long ago) and getting filled at .105 (MMs) hoping that sellers would abound (or at least killing MOMO). It ran to about .24 a couple days later..

Remember that an advantage of the Qs is there is no dilution so expect other games by MMs..If you believe here, lower fills are a blessing . Qs are running and I think you may have something nice here.

But it is like there was never any intention of giving me the other 9750 shares. I think that the only purpose of giving out any shares at all, is to get the shareholder count up.
