Just bought in fingers crossed for tomorrow.
Great. Thank you for the update. Hopefully some good news soon.
Hey Sonny! DCR distribution update: check out docket#13375 https://dm.epiq11.com/case/gcgaam/dockets
contains "Motion for Order Authorizing Release of Excess Reserve Funds Held in Disputed Claims Reserve"
and other wording. It seems they are about ready to close out the Chapter 11 AAMRQ claims case. GLTU/A

I would not be caught dead investing in airline stocks. Wait for them to tank and buy back pre-recovery when tourism is back to normal!
Why support an industry that is Force vaccinating pilots and crew members... These guys spend most of their life in high altitude/high pressure environments... if anyone's getting impacted by adverse reactions or death due to untested, unproven "Vacc*ines" it's these crews... It's no wonder they're protesting... you won't find it on the media... after all, the media is there to support political agendas... However, check Telegram.
Good luck to you all
Here's to AAMRQ distro pennies by Xmas.
Hate for the old claims to creep into 2022.
AAL
The dregs, trickle, leftovers, end of the line.
Didn’t expect a lot aftercreditors were done.
AAL
Thank you for your research, but man, that's a small number.
Looks like appeals ending. Any distro left? Lol.
AAL
Heading to 25 maybe. An interesting long chart.
Maybe if peeps keep on punching the ask? Lol!
AAL
It’s been a few years. Closer every day.
AAL
They did have a lot of cases to clear from before. Thanks
AAL
Final distribution maybe.
If we are going to get a final distribution it will be from this filing.
After this is executed the case will be closed and then all of those old AAMRQ shares will be deleted from your account.
I don't know what the multiple will be if we receive something.
edit: After looking at some of my old post it looks like it could be around a 0.005
?

Pulling your licence to do business in the US is the next step!
never ending appeals on final distribution, this chatroom is dead, no-one posts even updates. someone like to post another chat room that is more active?
well, bears repeating, good lord, close the books on the last BK already, even if it is a small distribution. this is ridiculous.
Just give us the last distribution
a month and not a word on this chat room, ZZZZZZZ
Yea ... seriously!
Another quarter and no progress.
Here's the statement from the Q2 10-Q:
Pursuant to rulings of the Bankruptcy Court, the Plan established a disputed claims reserve (the Disputed Claims Reserve) to hold shares
of AAG common stock reserved for issuance to disputed claimholders at the Effective Date that ultimately become holders of allowed claims.
The shares of AAG common stock issued to the Disputed Claims Reserve were originally issued on December 13, 2013 and have at all
times since been included in the number of shares issued and outstanding as reported from time to time in our quarterly and annual reports,
including for calculating earnings per common share. As disputed claims are resolved, the claimants receive distributions of shares from the
Disputed Claims Reserve. We are not required to distribute additional shares above the limits contemplated by the Plan, even if the shares
remaining for distribution in the Disputed Claims Reserve are not sufficient to fully pay any additional allowed unsecured claims. If any of the
reserved shares remain undistributed upon resolution of all remaining disputed claims, such shares will not be returned to us but rather will
be distributed to former AMR stockholders and former convertible noteholders treated as stockholders under the Plan. As of June 30, 2021,
the Disputed Claims Reserve held approximately 4.8 million shares of AAG common stock.
oh good lord, finalize the last distribution, all ready. its not much, but end it already
Beginning to believe we'll never see that last distribution
any news? any predictions? seems a lot just around the corner, with UK opening in a couple of weeks, EU already started. vaccines appear to work on variant, all airlines are gearing up, passengers lined up ready to go already. lets go!! i think once they drop the mask mandate, it will launch to the moon
a new/final distribution would be nice right about now
Do you think there will be one more I sold out and bought save
from your lips, to Gods ears. yes, this needs to be in the rear view mirror, for sure
I’ll be glad when this is finally wrapped up.

This one is making me very happy that I bought almost a year ago and 1/2 of today's price...
Yeah, nothing but crickets. Not sure what the good news would be, but I’m still here. This seems to be a sideways trading play now. I try to keep my emotions in check because this little stock has broken my heart so many times. Damn, I should have bailed +$50.. :(
wow, this room has gotten super quiet, no more retail investors, just institutional? or waiting for some good news? hmmmm
Pathetic. They need to get this show on the road
Nothing new in today's 10-Q report for Q1 on the DCR. They are still holding 4.8 million shares to settle possible claims.
So if bought 40,000 shares of aamrq, how many shares of AAL did I end up with??

What is my tax basis/cost basis/value of the stock for the shares I received from the Disputed Claims Reserve?
If you received shares of American Airlines Group Inc. Common Stock (“AAG Stock”) from the In re AMR Corporation et al. Disputed Claims Reserve (“DCR”) pursuant to the Debtors’ Fourth Amended Joint Chapter 11 Plan (ECF Nos. 10361, 10367, the “Plan”), the fair market value of the AAG Stock that you received will depend on when those shares were distributed.
If you received a “Direct Registration Book-Entry Advice” (an “AST Advice”) from American Stock Transfer & Trust Company, LLC, with respect to those shares, the fair market value of the AAG Stock at the time of each respective distribution from the DCR is set forth below:
Distribution Dates | Fair Market Value (price per share) |
July 1, 2014 | $42.96 |
November 4, 2014 | $42.00 |
February 10, 2015 | $46.53 |
July 14, 2015 | $42.42 |
March 8, 2016 | $42.13 |
August 29, 2017 | $44.95 |
April 9, 2019 | $33.88 |
February 25, 2020 | $25.45 |
Payment of any applicable tax relating to the shares is your responsibility. You are encouraged to consult with a qualified tax advisor for questions regarding your specific tax treatment of shares (including but not limited to the specific computation of tax basis) received from the DCR. The foregoing information does not constitute tax, financial, or legal advice.
If you did not receive an AST Advice and you are an employee or former employee of American, please contact your union or other representative for more information. Otherwise, you may contact GCG at one of the addresses listed on the “Contact Us” Tab.
