AMFI going North
I don't buy into the MM manipulation and fill the gap stuff.
I think when it spiked, there were a good number of shorts taken and they will have to cover those. Then we see another run. Then it should calm down and I'm betting a nice steady climb.
Just my opinion.
Thats cool, I also noticed a gap from 1.02 - 1.06
. is this a problem or will they (mm) let it slide
.>?
Big bidder moved up to 1.13. good sign
Could be. If the selling lets up. There is a big bidder at 1.11

JPMorgan Chase & Company| JPM UPAmcore Financial Inc.| AMFI UPAmcore Financial said Friday it agreed with JPMorgan Chase (JPM Quote) to amend a covenant on its $12.5 million credit facility, and it also established a cash interest reserve account of $1.1 million with JPMorgan as part of the agreement. The amendment requires Amcore Financial to pay all accrued interest through the date of the amendment, and make monthly interest payments thereafter.
Amcore also said it is current with all its payments due under the facility. "We would expect that the bank will no longer be deemed significantly undercapitalized for regulatory purposes," Chairman and CEO William McManaman said in Friday's statement.
Last Monday, Amcore Financial completed a $135 million sale of non-strategic, non-relationship loans as part of the company's efforts to raise capital and improve liquidity.

ROCKFORD, Ill. (AP) -- Regional bank Amcore Financial Inc. on Friday said it reached an agreement with its lender, JPMorgan Chase & Co., over Amcore's technical default on a $12.5 million credit facility.
The two banks agreed to modify a covenant relating to capitalization at the parent and bank level of Amcore -- the provision of the credit facility that triggered the default. With the change, Amcore "is currently in full compliance with the terms of its credit agreement," the company said.
The agreement also requires Amcore to pay all accrued interest through the date of the amendment. After that, Amcore is to make monthly interest payments.
The company also will set up a cash interest reserve account with JP Morgan Chase of about $1.1 million, equaling the anticipated interest payments from the amendment's date through the debt facility's maturity date in April 2011.
Amcore said it made the accrued interest payment and established the reserve account on Friday, and is current on all payments due under the facility.
Chairman and CEO William McManaman said Amcore has sought to improve its capital position recently through steps including the sale of $135 million in loans, and the sale of four of its rural Wisconsin bank branches.
Shares of Amcore jumped 33 cents, or 48 percent, to close Friday at $1.02.
The stock has traded in a 52-week range of 36 cents to $4.16. Last week, Amcore said it had been notified by the Nasdaq Stock Market that it had fallen out of compliance with the Nasdaq's listing rules because the minimum bid prices for its common stock had fallen below $1 per share for 30 consecutive business days. Amcore was given a grace period of 180 calendar days in which to regain compliance with the rule.
Rockford, Ill.-based Amcore has about $4 billion in banking assets, and 66 locations in Illinois and Wisconsin.
