So what will AMC do balance of year????
My favorite tech stock was up 44% for year.....weeeeeeeee
Dow is up 12% from Jan 1, 2024 (4519 pts from low to hi)
Gold up 30% from Jan 1 (628 from Jan1 to hi)
AMC down -27% from Jan 1
GME up 28% from Jan 1
the markets and metals keep climbing at an unhealthy pace imo. why? for political and mainly financial reasons. where is there an abundant source of money for shorts? retail and pension funds over investing. they need trillions and the markets can give away trillions in a relatively short period of time.
a crash is coming after the elections and it will hit hard.
jmo.
In Denver, the Chez Artiste theater closed by surprise, and tearfully after 52 years just last month. Times are changin', and now with Covid on the rise again, it is getting too hard for many of our old traditional venues. AMC needs to BK and mop up the debt and recapitalize, and bury the Apes, still clutching their worthless shares. With AA "The Genius" they just might survive.
I agree, most movies i go to at AMC theaters are completely empty. If that is not dose of reality I don't know what is.
Only "last of the Mohicans" people are still here holding and praying for a miracle (black/white) Swans to come rescue them from their miserable AMC stock.
GME AMC and other stocks are with baskets of stocks inside of many asset backed contracts/securities
And they rise and fall as a group
Most of the time when the asset is rolled over or purchased in the open market
See Archegoes stock swap contracts
Just one family office has billions of obligations
How many other HFs have similar products
Tiger related or where did the Melvin related products go ?? Plus others who failed
Rolled up into banks maybe??

He gave up on AMC - didn't you notice RK was becoming a little more conservative, not wanting to waste his sheeple's money?
RK is GME not AMC
Nope - AMC was all RK and momentum, which is gone.
Agree. But that has never meant anything to the APES. Go back and review the frenzy created here and all of the articles and news stories on the re-emergence of roaring kitty and the effect that had on AMC and GME and the huge spikes in volume and share price attributed directly to RK. SMFH
if retail could generate all that volume, they would load up and lock away shares every day in after hours
roaring kitty has nothing to do with AMC
that's what you dont understand
🔴🔴AMC OBV goes UP or DOWN tomorrow eh?: https://investorshub.advfn.com/uimage/uploads/2023/8/14/plodmAMC_OBV.png
What are your thoughts about this?
Just go back and remember the frenzy after RK re-surfaced, and then fizzled out. The big drop came after his stupid nothing burger webinar, and it dropped way back. The recent drop in share price has come just from traders realizing that AMC is still overvalued, given its huge debt load and AMC kicking the can down the road and giving up ownership in tis trade name and a bunch of theaters to get the debt extension done.
on May 14th, AMC traded over 600M shares all above $6.00 per share
thats $3.6 billion dollar volume at minimum, possibly $5B-$7B total
thats not retail
too much dollar volume for it to be retail out of the blue
if that were the case, AMC would not be at $4s
$2.50 to $12.50 back to $4.50 with no volume.
AMC hasnt seen one session with over 50M shares traded since first week of June
Neb: Master is right. The spike to which you refer this past May came in the days after Keith Gill a/K/a Roaring Kitty re-emerged for the first time in years in on-line postings, and APES went nuts and bought up shares of GME and AMC like there was no tomorrow. Do you seriously think it was institutions reacting to DFV/KG/RK? SMH
what are you smoking? retail traders are not the people that generate huge volumes in stocks, that is done by Wall street firms, institutions, hedge funds, pension funds, etc
You show little understanding as to how things work. Day traders could easily flip 100k blocks 20x in a day when there is a lot of volume and liquidity. Not today.
no way they generated 400M volume out of nowhere.
if that was the case, AMC would be trading 100 million shares per day
It was Apes. Apes = retail.
ok, then explain the move from $2.50 to $12 back in May.
who did that? it wasnt retail
of course, you wont respond or answer that question now will you?
Tomorrow in the 3's. Kitten sure fooled plenty. It is laughing at all of us while it feeds the beast that destroys.
I wish people would be more conscious of their option purchasing and stop handing premium over to the shorts. I have 9 CALL-OPTIONS, with a strike price ranging from $2.00 - $4.50 that exp between Dec this year to around the middle of next year, that I will be exercising. And 9 more that I will be selling that exp 2026.
GO AMC!!!
You think of that cash as something they really have. AMC would fetch a fat zero for shareholders in bankruptcy, with all the cash gone. Even the bondholders aren't whole now.
AMC barely an uptick all day or for the past few weeks
this is typical of dilution or tax loss selling
the volume has been relatively low for the past 6-8 weeks so you would think whomever wanted out by now would be out
AMC options market is DOA
$5.50 if you can find enough traders that still have any money left to waste.
AMC is trading with a market cap at roughly 2X cash on hand
hard to imagine shorts piling in now heading into the 4th quarter
but then again, sure, things can get materially worse or materially better, it will be one or the other, there is no in between after this ER report
AMC will see $3.50-$3.00 or $5.00-6.00+ soon, yes, its that binary now
Prudent Capitalist is 100% serious and extremely knowledgeable. If you kneel down to twitter clowns you are kneeling down in the wrong direction.
I would expect that to increase as shorts become more confident in their DD.
They are walking down AMC
As they know the news is about to come
https://www.boxofficemojo.com/weekly/?ref_=bo_nb_ql_secondarytab
Movie Weekly average 120m$ plus
Movies revenue for 3rd Qtr is 104m$ from
2023 3qtr posted results
https://www.boxofficemojo.com/quarter/?ref_=bo_nb_wly_secondarytab
If this last weekend of this month posts average to above average returns it shows improved results for the industry and AMC has the best cut of those funds
Pointing to better 3rd Qtr returns and maybe positive earnings
GLTA
Down she goes. Catch the falling knife if you can. Rotten kitty needs your money so its coffers can please the family principality of Leviathan.
fyi, gensler before the finance service committee yesterday. opening statement wasn't very flattering for gensler.

🔴🔴bio, ¢0.42 cents AMC WON'T be MOASS LOL?!:
the last "squeeze" AMC ran from $2.50 to $12 on 400 million volume
i have no idea what really sparked that or who moved the price like that but it was crazy
Roaring kitty has nothing to do with AMC yet it ran like crazy but crashed just as fast so that must have been big money on wall street playing around
retail cant do that and since that day, AMC has been death, probably one of the weirdest things I seen all year
What are you a comedian…
There is a good chance P/L will be positive next qtr earnings report Nov 13 based on movie revenue...it will be close....hope for big closing weekend for qtr....
nonetheless we should see upswing in revenue in movies going forward (plus concessions) seeing covid and writers strike is
behind us....see nothing but blue skies.....2025 and 2026 should be solid years for AMC....fundamentals will
be solid IM
I like to look at financials ytd comparing previous yrs qtrs......attached Jun 30 2024 to Jun 30, 2023 starts on page 5
https://d1io3yog0oux5.cloudfront.net/_cdfac8b17245a27f5612438c12cc3d59/amctheatres/news/2024-08-02_AMC_Entertainment_Holdings_Inc_Reports_Second_367.pdf
That is accurate, but the trailing 90-day avg. daily volume for AMC is over 26 million shares per day, so would not take long to cover all short positions.
RSI <20 30min chart
tax loss selling i suppose
here is Qtr 3 ER from 2023 ending September 31, 2024
https://investor.amctheatres.com/sec-filings/all-sec-filings/content/0001411579-23-000087/amc-20230930x10q.htm
with more releases than last year, even if box office is a little less or flat, there is a chance that AMC still earned a profit due to food sales with more diverse films than just two big hits last year with Barbie and Oppenheimer
yes, there were some flops in Qtr 3 of 2024, but Twisters, Bad Boys ride or die, A quiet place day one, Deadpool & Wolverine, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Inside out 2, It ends with US, Despicable Me 4, and Alien Romulus offered a decent range of films over the summer
AMC still 50M shares short roughly 14% of the float
AMC decline is getting worse. 25% drop in attendance and falling more. Theaters becoming ghost towns. The writing is on the wall. When a summer has no movie goers, that should be a hint. I never should have listened to that long haired snake. Made the same mistake as Eve.
AMC will probably breach 4.25-4.3 pricing.....
and why not....when government doesn't punish corporate malfeasance
the message is clear.....crime is worth the risk!!!
and the lack of transparency in stock market further removes the doubt
that unethical behavior is encouraged......so the moral compass in
the stock market is non existent and maybe never existed....it appears
stock market is nothing more than rogue casino.....just an opinion....hehehehehehehe
but you can still make money in the rogue casino if you know how!!!!!
