Mr. Jay Shafer leads the Amacore Team with a multitude of disciplines cultivated over years of working with industry leading companies. He received a BA of Finance & Management at the University of Central Florida in Orlando graduating Sigma Cum Laude Manatee.
Mr. Shafer served as Vice President of the Financial Services Division at the John Harland Company from 1988 - 1997 helping them develop their client base from 32 financial institutions to 351 institutions over the course of his tenure. Mr. Shafer then moved on to work with Protective Marketing Enterprises where he lead as the Chief Executive Officer for that company in 1997. Mr. Shafer was instrumental in starting the company's member base from zero to over 1 million members by the time he left, taking him in the direction of filling the Chief Executive Officer position at Amacore Group in 2007.
Mr. Shafer also serves on the board of directors for Amacore Group as well as on the board of Marketing Solutions, Inc. and holds a Life, Health, & Variable Annuities Insurance License in all 50 States.
Mr. Guy Norberg has over 20 years of experience working in the Health and Insurance Marketing industry leading several companies to increased sales and increased market share. Mr. Norberg displayed such achievements working with Freedom Life Insurance Company as their Area Vice President in 1997, taking them from a re-organization filing to re-establishing the company as a serious competitor, contributing over $25 million dollars in annual sales.
From there Mr. Norberg embarked on founding his own organization, US Health Options/Innovative Health Benefits, where he managed and developed over 2000 agents, overseeing total annual commissions exceeding $10 million. In 2006 he held a brief position with Protective Marketing Enterprises where he held the title of Vice President, Sales & Marketing.
