Not me, I traded it at various prices and wrote hundreds of calls against my position to raise cash and its indeed been a huge cash cow. Problem right now is the price is so low but we'll get another spike and I will write calls to bring in cash. It's all good.
I can see by the action that private placement holders are selling the crap out of a severely bloated stock.
Somehow I knew you were going to use the vaccine example. There was a worldwide pandemic and The government gave billions to the vaccine companies. You are very lucky If they get an advisory panel meeting by 2025
Where have you been, they swept thru the COVID vaccine in no time, if its important enough they will make it happen. Nothing to do with the SEC.
Topline data for AL001 was reported on December 17, 2021 and we are working towards conducting a Phase II multiple-ascending doze study during the second quarter of 2022.
On September 30, 2021, we announced that we received a written response from the FDA to our meeting request relating to our Type B Pre Investigational New Drug (“IND”) application pursuing a combined Phase I/Phase II study as a path for our planned clinical development of AL002. We plan on submitting an IND during the second quarter of 2022.
THey are fast tracking it through. Sophisticated investors are buying the living crap out of this, this will be a 50 dollar stock, probably a lot more as they license the tar out of it, or they just sell the company outright.
Found money and for a great cause
That is an unsophisticated response. Every compound goes through extensive clinical trials before it is approved. The SEC does not have a sweep program. What you are saying is a drug for lung cancer gets swept through. Complete and utter BS
this is alzheimers for al002 and depression lithium replacement for al001, what are you kidding me? These are major diseases, the FDA will sweep this thru so fast your head will spin.
How is a company that is 4-7 years away from a drug approval with this market cap cheap?
made small purchase at 1.82 in this downdraft. Sure it could go lower, but this is very cheap right now and will surely get another upward spike, dont know when, but it will happen.
You are making a valid point as far as if the indications go well beyond Alzheimers and there is off label use, then the value is fair. I don't about much higher. A company 4-6 years away from an NDA shouldn't be worth $500 million.
I personally think it should be much higher and believe it will be...We are not talking toe fungus here we are maybe talking about a real positive solution to address a number of serious issues facing many including Alzheimer's
I have a question for anyone that can answer it. I am an extremely experienced healthcare industry investor. I've been investing for decades. Have been extremely successful in the healthcare sector. I was an early stage investor in immensely successful companies. I have always looked at it that a phase 1 company should be valued somewhere between 50 and 100 million. Phase 2 between 100 and 300. Of course, it also depends on what your indication is. A drug for arthritis would command a much higher market cap than a drug for toe fungus. Once you get in to phase 3 it could be 300 million on up. Right now with a market cap of 200 million, this company may be overvalued by a significant range. Why does anyone think this company is fairly valued at very early stage clinical trials. Admittedly, I don't know much about this company but have been following it based on the space that they are operating in.
So……if you have a new treatment regimen with another soon to arrive on the books then what? Who manufactures them? Who markets them? Who pays a lot to buy the products and all that they do?
What is ALZN worth? To save people from the living torture of Alzheimer’s the sky is the limit………ponder this
definitely a great great price to get it, people will look back over time and kick themselves. Its so cheap that I am not writing any calls against my position until we get a nice spike in price to drive up the premiums, ideally I'd like the 7.50 call, far enough away that we make a ton of money on the stock regardless.
Easiest buy right now. Load the boat and have no worries!
Its all good, dont underestimate Alzamend. At the right time it will explode. We're not there which is why I am writing calls against my position that will get riskier over time.
Fat boy Ault -CEO of DPW (now Bitnile) is pumping his investment in ALZN on Twitter..and then puts out a press release to show his tweet. Lol
took advantage of this commotion to write some January 5 calls but leaving room for more of these if the stock has another nice spike.
What’s the float on this turd? Edit: Float = 39,130,000 12%
Its about time...news on the horizon this month. Once it hits will blow right past $3.00
I'm buying options on that
As long as the share price is manipulated!
well my patience for a huge spike dissipated and I settled on writing 30 x Dec 5.0 calls for .15, pretty lame I know, but it is good money to have. $5 is pretty far away so risk is low.
well, who'd have guessed it would pull back into the lower 2s, wow, the puts I wrote are close to what I got for them and I might hold on till Friday, I just dont like the margin requirement, I would rather use the money elsewhere honestly.
But anyway, I will continue to preach, its best to write the options when the price spikes, obviously the price of the option goes up when the stock rallies, BUT the premium will often go beyond what it normally would have gone had the stock simply creeped up, since on such spikes everyone thinks its going to da-moon, so all the more reason to be patient and wait for the opportunities to come to you.
Right now I would be eyeing writing the Dec 5.0 calls - if I could get say 50 - 100 of them at .50 each, I would take it.
Lets go ALZN$$ Follow the money!
This is a great place to look for filings and company info

$ALZN Insider buys 145,000 more shares!
Dropping hard....hopefully we see some recovery this week.
That was a good read...shes going to make her way north back over $3. Its coming.
Wrote an unimaginable number of call options on this last push up, unfortunately some at low premiums and far out expirations, but they're all covered (or i wouldnt have written them). But also have a decent number expiring in Nov and Dec which will open things up for writing future options. Now I knew very well that my premiums were crappy when I started writing in the last couple weeks when the stock was hovering in the low 2s, but at the same time I really wanted the cash for other investments, but in hindsight I should have bitten the bullet and waited for the rally which, with Todds stocks are inevitable, where the premiums spiked nicely, lesson learnt.
On the puts options side, the 2.50 put for any of expirations have decent premiums, for starters I wrote 20 Nov 2.50 puts for between .45 and .50, which is pretty darned good, while the margin required is equivalent to the strike price, in other words the 2.50 put requires $250 margin (regardless of expire date) basically assuming the stock will go to zero which is unfair but still, for example looking at the November option, getting $45 with a requirement of $250 bucks is 18% profit in 2 weeks, with fairly low risk (it'd have to go to $2.05 where you would at least break even) can't complain about that at all. What we need is for the exchange to provide options at strikes at every 50 cents in order to capitalize on a long term put/call options trading plan, as I have done very nicely with DPW (aka Ault Holdings) for almost a year now. With the insane options volume on Friday, and decent volume even before that, I expect we'll see those new strikes being offered in the near future, it didnt take that long for DPW to get those 50 cent ladder options as well after options trading started for it. With a variety of strikes, you can write options at various prices and various expirations that should be profitable over time. The key is having the underlying stock to allow for it, and at $2.50/share, you can load up nicely and put such a strategy into action.
A full blown strategy of both puts and covered calls could pull in lets say .85/option pair (.45 5.0 call + .40 2.50 put) and if yu did that 3 months in a row for the front month contract, you could literally pay for the stock itself, all assuming the options go out worthless with the stock finishing in the very wide range of $2.50 - $5.00. I plan on doing exactly that as soon as my cash position gets strong after one of my other pennies runs to the sky. In the case the stock just runs thru the roof on its own, you have still at least doubled your money on the upside with addl money made as the puts go out worthless.
Lots of Red today. Hopefully it filps by end of day!
