Meant to reply to your last post. Absolutely agree this is a screaming buy at these levels. Sure, the covid nasal spray would have/could have been a monster for ALT, but when? At how much cost? And what happens if it fails in Phase III trials after all that time and money? Dropping AdCovid now and focusing on the obesity drug is smart business move. From what we've seen in the early results, this could be a game changer. Still early, but if results stay this strong moving forward, ALT will have a big pharma partner or be bought out long before going through all the clinical trials. Like all biotech, there's risk with ALT. But the risk/reward here makes ALT a strong buy in my opinion. Down here in the $8s it's a crazy strong buy

It's great, but not quite as great as you might think. The company in question (JMP Securities) raised their 12 month price target to $53 as you were saying. But they already had a target of $45 and so was just raising it a bit as opposed to a new firm coming out and initiating coverage on ALT with a $50+ price target. If a new firm does that, we'll see another significant pop I believe.

But either way, ALT is a potential life changing stock. I bought it years ago for the intranasal flu vaccine, which turned into me holding it hoping for an intranasal covid vaccine. If that gets approved, it would make the stock worth well over $100 a share in my opinion. Having another shot on goal with this weight loss drug in clinical trials is fantastic. If this makes it through Phaae III clinical trials it will be spectacular. So....a lot to like here! Speculative to be sure, but the covid vaccine would be something else. No needles and no refrigeration needed. Would be huge!

Catchmeifyoucan, I think I remember you from this board, long ago when I used to post on iHub (just getting back to it after a long break). I've been holding ALT for ages, based originally on the hope for an intranasal flu vaccine. As good as I think that may yet be, an intranasal covid vaccine that doesn't need to be stored at ultra freezing temperatures is an absolute game changer. So far, so good with all the pre-clinical data. If this comes good, I think we have an absolute monster on our hands. No needles, no cold temps, and easy to transport and deliver to parts of the world where things are a little less modernized than here, Europe, etc. Life changing gains for ALT shareholders if AdCovid makes it through clinical trials. I've actually added more here in the $13s, even though I have so many shares from $1.50-2.50 range.

I've kinda been staying away from bio's altogether. They fluctuate too wildly even for my liking.

They rip, then retreat, and sometimes take years to recover, they dip and sometimes never recover.

Rethinking ALT
Recent developments have intimated a reassessment of of share price potential. Current price targets in my estimation DO NOT REFLECT A PROBABLE LIKELY SCENARIO. It has very recently discussed there may be a need for ANNUAL COVID VACCINATIONS FOREVER. Which means Alt may not be late to the party. They will overtake Pfizer, Moderna, and possibly even Novavax. If the vaccine shows efficacy, they will be the hands down biggest global player. No need for refrigeration is HUGE. Only one dose needed and a reasonable shelf life.

Amazing... ! I went back in at 12.37 a couple of months ago, don't know how much can it hold going up unless of course, it they have news coming but... kind of hesitant to get out here and wait for a pull back and get back in again... sometimes my crystal ball has some short circuits.. !!
