Very sad indeed,best value for the price imho and much easier on the eyes than most platforms out there.Dont know why they filed CH 11 as i am certain that it was profitable with the many subscribers they had...i guess we will never know...

Kind of sad won't be able to do my normal morning routine and my new Win 8 Pro/Core i7 system about as stable as ever with Egate. Noticed they charged a full month but only got to the 15th, but I know, BK, etc.

Are they going to have the product look exactly the same after the new owner takes over the quoting service? Will my real time charting on Alphatrade stay exactly the same with the same chosen chart parameters without my having to remake the thing post transfer of ownership on March 31?

I have used stock-watch in the past,esignal once upon a time(very pricey) and will probably go with this Tmx deal for at least one month to see how it performs..
For now though lets enjoy our last few weeks with alphatrade.

From what i read it will be the tmx group that will offer clients something as they will take over the domain name..All exchanges will be available..
Too bad though,i still say they were the best bang for the buck and will be sorely missed.

but only payment via paypal is possible and it´s not as good as alphatrade is.

Itried it with google crome, IE and firefox.. always the same result. even on my man´s PC and on both laptop here in the house. ouside here it is working. my friends do not have a problem..

I emailed them and I called and nobody can take my call was the answer. I jsut called my technic support here in austria and he tried to open the site with my login and it worked perfect for him.. so he will look into my pc what happened. that is crazy

I get to the mainpage with your link and can click on all links on their page, which are working - less the e-gate login.

That is crazy! Is your java script working? I have had problems in the past where my Java script crashed and I have to install it again. Other then that I don't know what the problem is. Have you spoken to anyone with internet technical experience?

You really got that right on.I did several Google searches during the outage but just a couple of online brokerage firms have it. I did buy the I-hub level 2 but I couldn't get it to work.

If I should come upon anything new I will let the thread know.

Throwing caution to the wind, (or just figuring if I am going to sleep tonight) I just killed the app and tried to log in again. I did.

And what I was just reminded of is that, on logging in since the app was again working, I get the annoying ad and TWO menus. One produces a working menu and the other just shows "loading" swirlies, but doesn't.

Well, I must admit we're out of my depth here. I'd think that switching browsers should render this idea useless....but maybe if you cleared the cache of temp files in both browsers and tried it again...?

Probably a goofy idea.

It's now 10:08 EST, and I still haven't had a response to any of my 3 emails to the company.

SO FAR (a talisman I use in many situations where it fits), I am still up and running. But it wasn't till about 14:04 EST that it started working.

Wish I had another suggestion for you.

BTW, you didn't say what you DID get when you plugged in the digits, but just searching for them on Google> Who Is? shows that alphatrade.com is one of two web sites using that info. Again, not my area of experise. Maybe you could discern more if you did that.

Darn good thing trading in this market is so easy; otherwise, with complications like this, one might have a bad day. :-}
