Strategy X Security Expertise Used in Department of Defense U.S. Air Force Nuclear Bases around the World
HARRISON, Maine--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Strategy X Inc. (PINK SHEETS:SGXI - News), global performance based risk mitigation specialists have an expertise derived from being the designers of security systems employed by the Department of Defense U.S. Air Force nuclear bases around the world. There is no higher resource to secure than the nuclear weapons and nuclear weapon systems which require special consideration and must be protected with the highest security measures against risks and threats inherent in their peacetime and wartime environments.
Strategy X expertise was derived from accomplishing this monumental task at several sites in the U.S. and overseas. Strategy X personnel designed the physical security systems that were responsible for the safety, security and control of nuclear weapons assuring no accidents, incidents, unauthorized use, or degradation of performance.
Primarily Strategy X personnel were responsible for the design, employment and reliability of the physical security system that protects the U.S. Department of Defense nuclear weapon stockpile. Nuclear weapons security is the total spectrum of procedures, facilities, equipment, and personnel employed to provide the protection against loss of custody, theft, or diversion of a nuclear weapon system, the protection against unauthorized access, and the protection against unauthorized actions, vandalism, sabotage, and malevolent damage.
Security involves active and passive protective measures laid out by the DoD and executed by the individual Services. This is accomplished through the implementation of the Nuclear Weapons Security Standard. The DoD, DOE, and the National Security Agency (NSA) work closely to develop, implement, and maintain standards, plans, procedures, and other measures to control use of nuclear resources. Specifically, the DATSD(NM) oversight for control of use includes: developing DoD policy and guidance to include DoDD 5210.8, US Nuclear Weapons Command and Control, Safety and Security, DoDD 3150.7, Controlling the Use of Nuclear Weapons, DoDD 3150.6, Nuclear Command and Control System (NCCS) US Nuclear C2 System Support Staff, and DoDD S-5210.82, Protection of Nuclear Coding Equipment; participating in the Use Control Project Officers Group (UC POG); working closely with DOE in development of TCG-UC-3 Classification Guide; and through DTRA, monitoring use control effectiveness/practices/procedures, while conducting surety inspections at military units.

LOS ANGELES, May 22, 2007 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Strategy X Inc. (PINK SHEETS:SGXI), global risk mitigation specialist, is pleased to announce the announced final awards totaling $445 million in grants to strengthen the ability of ports, transit, and intercity bus systems to prevent, protect against, respond to and recover from terrorist attacks, major disasters and other emergencies. The awards are part of the 2007 Infrastructure Protection Program (IPP), which has provided nearly $2 billion in grants to strengthen critical infrastructure facilities and transportation systems. Strategy X has the ability to ensure protection of information systems for critical infrastructure, including emergency preparedness communications, and the physical assets that support such systems, in the information age.
By definition CIP is a Presidential directive (PDD-63) that calls for a national effort to assure the security of the increasingly vulnerable and interconnected infrastructures of the United States. At Strategy X those Presidential directed goals can be reached and exceeded with using the methods applied through an Effects-Based Security/ Anti Terrorism Analysis (EBSA). The critical infrastructure of the United States is comprised of the systems and networks that are so essential that if one or more is incapacitated or destroyed, an entire region, if not the defense or economic security of the nation, could be debilitated.
