Looks like a 2 or 3 year (at least) high close today, but bid is still very low. This would be a hard one to trade, with the spread very wide most of the time, but it does look like something may be happening. or not

Maybe I'm addicted. When I put my final 40K+ up for sale for a little over 0.005 I decided to simultaneously put in a buy order at 0.00022. Well, the buy order got filled. Basically I'm a market maker now.

Thanks for the post. Hard to have hope since it has slowly faded to nothing for me after the stockholders meeting in 2014. Glad you talked to Al.
What was the nature of the direct investment, preferred stock, loan?
How about the health of Al and Dan.
I had talked to Bob on occasion, once a year, and he would say the same thing that Al is still out there trying but offered no details.
Your post has hope. I remember Al saying at the meeting that they were expecting a stock price of dollars and not cents. For me that is a memory of the distant past not hope.
The buys have been trending up, .0059. Maybe someone knows something.
I have enough shares and will continue to watch it daily.

Thing is, Al’s working every day trying still. Last year he told me I could invest directly if I wanted to, to help out... ever year it’s been the same. Last month he told me that he’s no longer accepting direct purchase. He ask me if I still had shares and I told him yes.... and all he said is “that’s good”. So I’m still hopeful. I can write it off if they go dark, but hope is alive with me and with Gold prices up and the environmental issues, they might just get it done still.... haven’t heard the fat lady yet....

Well, after what, 25 years? I've finally bailed out. I sold all the shares in my regular account: 150,399 @0.0059. Strangely, my limit order was for 0.005. I still have a few straggler shares in IRA accounts, but these are up for sale too. There definitely has been a lot of activity here lately - below are the last 30 trades. There does seem to be more activity these days. Looking at https://quotes.freerealtime.com/quotes/aspt/TimeAndSales since June 1 there are 19 sales totaling 431775 shares and $1280.19. Some of these are presumably buy orders that were split into multiple fills.

Has anybody heard anything from anyone about what’s going on. I read the blog and think how Aladdin could help most of them. I’ve emailed several times but rarely get any reply. Wish something would happen, I’ve been in this waiting game for decades!

quiet a spread will rarely see any volume unless news comes out or people whack out

This massive divergence of prices means no one really knows what is going on. Some people are happy to see it quoted at all and take the opportunity to dump some or all of their shares. Others see the increased activity and better market and are willing to take a chance on buying some.

If I had any real indication that (a)the company was still actively pursuing opportunities with their tech, or that (b) all issues were settled (such as a mess with somewhat unaccounted shares that were issued in connection with some false representations made to HABE more than 12 years ago) so that the company might do a reverse merger with an established company, I would try to buy below my lowest previous buy price of .01.

I have enough shares at more than .40 that I am not eager to invest more here without some kind of info (or even a believable rumor!). Not looking to dump, though, because if they can do any business at all they will be worth a lot more than now.

Correction to my previous post: there was a sale of 100k shares at 0.005. The sale at 0.01 was for 10k shares. Note also a sale of 100k shares at 0.0001, so I'm not sure what to think of all this. The bid/ask at this moment is 0.0017 / 0.02. Earlier today I saw an ask of 0.03.

230,000,000 authorized
210,000,000 issued

after the split
230,000,000 authorized
70,000,000 issued

I do not know since the last stock holders meeting when everyone overwhelming voted for a name change and a reverse split if any new shares have been issued.

I have no information on preferred stock but there are some outstanding.

I am sure that all common stock is registered so that any shares bought and sold under ASPT are being keep track by some agency of the stock eschange.

It would be nice to know for sure who this is.

This board (the one we are on now) has been more active of late though. It's nice that it uses the current symbol, but the information about the company seems to be left over from some other company that had the symbol ASPT in the past.

Anyway, more purchases today, including 100K shares at 0.01. It makes me wish I had tried harder to accumulate at 0.0001, or whatever it was in the past.

Would be great to know what is behind the return to pinks! Could be something company has done to become current, but could also simply be a market maker has decided to start playing with it. I don't think the company itself needs to update things in order to get back on pinks--though I may be wrong.

I have held stock in this company for 30 years, traded a little along the way, but held most, after missing out on its one really big move in 1998 or 99, when it jumped up over 60cents for about ten minutes, on word of a deal that subsequently fell through. In hopes that something good may be brewing, I have a very small buy order in a bit above the current bid, and in case this is another false alarm, a small sell order quite a bit below the ask, but well above my last purchase price of one cent.

If their technology can be licensed to a major player, this has incredible potential, but the company has a sad history of false starts and disappointments, even with some apparently smart people working on the projects.

Absolutely no reason for them to go pink unless something cooking. The process isnt easy without a lot of paperwork that cost $$... new deal? Selling the company and process? EMP still possible? They get rid of stop and put out news, watch out! Low share count and world changing technology!

The company got back onto the Pink Sheets? Was there some sort of announcement or did you just happen to notice when looking at a quote. So I checked the quote and saw a bid of 0.005, which is very high compared to recent sales. I decided to put in a sell order at that price, just to see if it were for real and lo and behold it filled. So is there something going on here to bring in some new interest? I see nothing on AladdinTalk.

ASPT trades on the gray (or grey) market. This means there are no bid and ask, no market makers, no quotes. How exactly it works it is not clear. You can read about the trading experiences of a few people on this board:

As far as I know nothing has changed in the status of the company, but if something did, I'm not sure how we would find out.
