10-Q is out!!!
40k in revenue. Some great info on what they have been doing. Not done reading it yet but here's some quick info...
Radiocrafts - "We note similar progress with our ZigBee module partner Radiocrafts, which now has more than 50 OEMs using our ZNS stack and ZAPP (SPPIO) application. We anticipate several of these will go into production later this year."
40k in Rev - "The Company reported $40,000 of revenue from planned operations in the first six months of 2008. We have continued our go-to-market strategy of licensing the major microcontroller and IEEE 802.15.4 radio companies, having previously announced agreements with several microchip manufacturers. We believe this will lead to two types of revenues - service revenue from customized stack work, integration support and application development and royalty revenue from the licensing of our stack."
"Since late January 2008 when our status as a ZigBee Pro “Golden Unit” was confirmed and our software certified ZigBee compliant, we have been developing a solution for a significant client which has been delivered for evaluation. Barring unforeseen issues and the client’s satisfaction, we expect to solidify the arrangement in the third or fourth quarter. We expect to address other OEMs following the evaluation period. We also previously disclosed that we had an initial development contract with NXP which has gone very well and NXP has indicated that they are ready to proceed to the next phase with expanded scope and access to their client set. That effort should also begin in the third quarter. The principal terms of such agreement have been negotiated but not yet completed pending final review of the initial effort. We have also engaged two new chip manufacturers in discussions and have negotiated the principle terms of an agreement with one of them which is now ready for go-ahead in early October. We anticipate an agreement with the other chip manufacturer will be signed before the end of the year."
That is correct -

10Q deadline is tomorrow. Tomorrow (the 19th) is the 30th day since delinquency and therefore the end of the grace period.
I USE FIDELITY AND I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS TO BUY. IT DEPENDS ON THE ACCOUT YOUR USING, SOME HAVE REQUIRMENT.
I try place sells for .05 on etrade pro, i get a pop up saying that i need to call in to place a trade on this security...
I use Scottrade and I check it periodically to see if it's possible to place orders. I was able to buy a few shares this morning, just to test it out.
I really didn't expect the order to go through as I think buying ABEW online hasn't been possible for at least a year or so.
still cant on etrade
Nice to see that we can buy directly online again--having to phone a broker discourages a lot of buyers.
no news, but i dont think u can say for sure its due to the reporting delay...
Did we have any news or is this just someone selling, because their disappointed or they missed their time line for their report.
Wireless Technology Trends Report
This new study on wireless technology trends and forecasts status and potential of WiMAX, ZigBee, Ultrawideband, and Bluetooth. Pervasive uses for each technology are driven by rapidly increasing consumer demand for wireless connectivity.
The newly issued Wireless Technology Trends Report examines the market potential, effectiveness of existing technologies and components, global market trends, outstanding regulatory issues, progress of standards development, regional economic effects, and strategic developments of market makers. It also includes an evaluation of emerging wireless technologies including applications of WiMAX, IEEE 802.16m, LTE, Bluetooth, UWB, IEEE 802.11n, IEEE 802.15.4, EnOcean, and ZigBee. Further, an evaluation of the contribution by the individual technologies to future wireless market development is provided. Finally, a 5-year forecast that details sales volume, unit shipments, and average selling price by vertical technology segment provides data that can be used to build business or product plans.
“Over the last 12 months, many of the emerging wireless technologies have begun to exploit market sectors ranging from home automation to industrial and consumer electronics.” says Dr Kirsten West, Principal Analyst of WTRS.
“The adoption of wireless as a pervasive technology is not a matter of “if”, but when. The consumer desire for increas¬ingly unfettered wireless connectivity is clear.”
This Wireless Technology Trends Report fills the need for a truly comprehensive wireless analysis designed to serve companies in need of understanding the position of individual technologies in the context of the overall market. This report is written for companies involved in or potentially entering the wireless market that are interested in a general overview accompanied by detailed forecasts.
Key Findings:
(1) Ultra wideband has shifted from a nascent technology to a sol¬idly emerging protocol underlying the certified wireless USB and Bluetooth “high speed” implementations.
(2) Certified wireless USB will enable wireless transfer of photo¬graphs and other media from consumer electronics devices to per¬sonal computing and output devices.
(3) Bluetooth has undergone an expansion campaign over the last 18 months to incorporate newly-emerging protocols such as near-field communications (NFC), Wibree, and Ultra Wideband.
(4) ZigBee is poised to make great strides in the next year and many new products are expected to be released to market. It is very pos¬sible that the momentum of ZigBee will finally surge in 2008.
(5) Wireless delivery of high definition video content is an area that has very much emerged over the last 12 months. The market for wireless delivery of high definition video promises to be large, with decisive consumer adoption once the technology has been proven in end products.
(6) WiMAX has become a significant competition to alternative technologies in emerging markets.
(There's more but I'm not spending the $$$ to buy the full report.)

I asked Gene, in a email, the day the E got added for an date that they planned on submiting the q, he has yet to respond.
No word yet. I left them my home number to return my call and they may not want to leave a message on my recorder because I've been gone quite a bit.
The E has started. Any word yet. If this company makes it we need to have changes made, to the management team. This is business "101", and they didn't give any heads up on their screw up. I felt stupid when, I asked, when the quarterly report was due, I didn't know they had no clue either.
Yup. Aug 20th was the due date. I guess we'll have an "E" at the end of our symbol until they finish the Q. I called the corporate office and left my name and number this morning. Hopefully they'll call me back soon. Will let you know if I hear anything.
I agree they will come, i just hope that along with the initial payment for the software the residual program is effective and people upgrade and purchase the software.... i am a little skeptical, but hopeful.
The contracts will be there, it is just a matter of when.
i feel its the MM's playing on the common trader. we all know this report won't have the revs we need, I am sure a week after the report comes out we will be above .0275, hopefully by then they will announce the close of a few contracts...
I wonder if the recent drop is in anticipation of the reports.
??
Next 10-Q is due 45 days after the quarter ends.
End of 1st quarter is March 31. Add 45 days (May 15th)
End of 2nd quarter is June 30. Add 45 days (Aug 15th)
End of 3rd quarter is Sept 30. Add 45 days (Nov 15th)
End of 4th quarter is Dec. 31. I believe they allow 60 days for the end of the year report.
Looks like some are buying up stock, anyone have any idea when next quarterly is due. Alliance is getting large, still like to see cell phone companies start rolling out new zigbee cert. phones.

So glad I dumped my shares in the .40's with a nice profit.
This company like most pinkies never survive after their
initial run up.
I think, I'll take more of a chance and buy more shares, some time this week, or, a least put a bid on more shares.
It looks like the Zigbee standard is really taking off good. I see contracts for alot of money being issued out to companies. I see ember being mentioned allot, not so much about airbee.
All artical are on the Zigbee Alliance news page.
what firm in their right mind would deal with a 2 cent chump? so the jennic/minimed/compel etc. 'deals' no longer matter.....?? wow....4me..again..nothing personal...but the mgt of raj and gene have been nothing short of a disaster...
you watch..nxp will be next...learn from us...then go their own way...just like jennic, etc.
again....if bartfart was serious...they'd have an open letter out to sh to calm the waters and extend their excitement for the future...etc etc etc...
nothing of the sort....the default is coming and bartfart takes the code....the new board is part of this process....insiders will get preferred to 'go away quietly'.....firm turns into lic/r&d shop for chipmakers.....
NO WAY FIRM HAS FUTURE AS PUBLIC FIRM WHEN PPS IS 2 CENTS......NO WAY.....if this goes to say .30...would be one of the great success stories of all time....not gonna happen..but you already know that.....
think you better come clean......we'll see who is correct....my paperwork is ready......hope i'm wrong.....but i know i'm not
aggrieved sh will be contacted formally.....no way you/atco/dog...etc. don't know what the situation is coming down for the common sh...no way.....you have too much invested and they have to keep you quiet
all my opin
Well said.Atco.Can't say any better.
I think you expressed all our thoughts and feelings.
Well, I have one stock looking good, I guess, I should
consider my self lucky. Nothing to do here but wait and hope.
I would feel much better, if they showed a time line of events and try to come close and if, far off have a reason on the time line chart in it's place.
Don't count on anything soon -
In my opinion, this stock is highly depressed because one; of the free shares given to borrowers and their continuing cashing in on those millions of shares which is even continuing slowly today, two; lack of revenues which probally just like other Zigbee stocks except thay are all private and don't have to disclose no revenues via the SEC, and three; the lack of the desire to pursue PRs until there are several which will prop up the stock. I'm afraid that the controllers of the company are not concerened of our short term outlook.
Of course the problem with item one above was the Alliance screw up of the 2004 spec and the slow release of Pro which OEMs wanted. Therefore, poor liitle Airbee with no cash had to make BAD financing deals to stay afloat. Thank goodness for the faithful investors that provided private placement money.
So what is the current status? I'm hopeful that the people with more information and money than me, Bartmans and new directors, know what they are doing. Zigbee will still be big and I believe Airbee still has many advantages if any chip maker and OEM can see past the apparently poor, marginal, hanging by the fingernails, close to bankruptcy, financial position.
Let's see, did I finish on a high or low note?
It sounds good, Maybe this next quarter will show rev, start to finally, start pouring in. We need it. This low price is depressing. I like to think everybody is here to make all the investors some money and change the way the world works.
What does it mean -
It means that the Bartmans are following through with their signed agreement and are adding two of their selected reps to the board. Simple as that. Why? To enhance the boards management skills and reputation. From those selected it looks like they selected two worthy ones.
In the background Our reps continue to business and are now in Munich.
So, what do you think this means for ABEW. It sound impressive, or it sound like they signed up to own more money.
What do you think their gearing up for. Give all thoughts.
Thanks!

It's over folks....turn out the lights....
my opin
Thought I'd copy this post from RB since others might have the same concerns.
Mike1dan2, here's a few thoughts to consider...
If you read the article carefully, it specifically states that Meshnetics has successfully integrated their ZigBee PRO software onto some of ATMEL's hardware product (probably their radio since ATMEL has one of the best radios on the market) to create a sub-1 GHz module. And although I applaud their efforts, the sub-1 GHz frequency is limited to certain types of products. The vast majority of wireless products are currently using the 2.4 GHz frequency.
Furthermore, Meshnetics does NOT have software that is hardware agnostic and therefore will be limited in their abilities to integrate with other hardware products. Remember, many OEMs already have their own hardware products that will need to be integrated onto ATMEL's radio as well.
Have a good night.
Disclaimer: All comments are just my opinion and should NOT be considered as factual. And YES, I am a major investor with Airbee Wireless, Inc.
(Voluntary Disclosure: Position- Long; ST Rating- Strong Buy; LT Rating- Strong Buy)
abew4me--I agree- at this stage in the game "what's good for Zigbee is good for Airbee." It is clear and simple that Airbee's success first and foremost depends on market adoption of Zigbee. Few sensor / automation hardware OEMs (Airbee's most likely customers, imo) are going to risk capital investment until it becomes clear that Zigbee has a winning hand. Ditto regarding an acquisition prospect.
Every day I get an increasing number of 'google alerts' with "zigbee" as the keyword. If this trend continues it will be just a matter of time before some of those alerts include Airbee in their news.
”ZigBee is experiencing tremendous growth across a wide variety of industries and we believe that sub-1 GHz solutions will further extend ZigBee’s appeal and fuel its growth.”
Even though this comment is pulled from a Meshnetics PR, it is nice to read about ZigBee's "tremendous growth across a wide variety of industries..."
It's my opinion that the low-power mesh (ZigBee) industry needs as much publicity as it can get.
Still in its infancy she is. Many more years of growth ahead.
MeshNetics Ships World’s First 900MHz Module Using the ZigBee PRO Feature Set
09.06.2008
Rosemont, IL – June 9, 2008 – MeshNetics, a leading provider of ZigBee modules and embedded software for OEMs and system integrators, today at the Sensors Expo show in Rosemont, Illinois, announced its launch of the ZigBit 900, the world’s first RF module for sub-1 GHz band that uses the ZigBee PRO Feature Set. The ultra-compact ZigBit 900 module features an exceptional sensitivity of -110 dBm and output power of 11 dBm that result in the line-of-sight range of up to 6,000m (over 3.7 miles). The power consumption stays at a remarkably low level: less than 6 µA in sleep mode, 11 mA in receive mode, and 26 mA in transmit mode, which translates into many years of battery life. The ZigBit 900 operates in the European ISM band from 863 to 870 MHz and in the North American ISM band from 902 to 928 MHz. The ZigBit 900 offers regional alternatives to the global 2.4 GHz band where the channel characteristics of the lower frequencies can result in performance advantages in certain environments.
“We are pleased to offer the world’s first RF module for the 900 MHz band which reuses our 2.4 GHz BitCloud™ ZigBee PRO Feature Set,” said Alexey Rybakov, Managing Director of MeshNetics’ ZigBit Business Unit. “We are committed to offering OEMs and system integrators the utmost flexibility for their ZigBee-enabled products and solutions, and now they can choose between 2.4 GHz and 900 MHz technologies. Along with our ability to offer hardware, software and engineering support from a single source, this is what makes MeshNetics the premier ZigBee House in the market.”
The ZigBit 900 module ships with BitCloud™, a robust 802.15.4-2006/ZigBee PRO Feature Set used for all the 2.4 GHz MeshNetics modules. Supporting self-healing, self-organizing mesh networks and up to 1Mbit/s data rates, BitCloud stack optimizes network traffic while minimizing power consumption. Customers can choose between the C API for embedded application development and SerialNet—a ZigBee Manufacturer Specific Profile based on BitCloud™ supporting a serial AT-command interface to ZigBit 900.
“We are actively working with other ZigBee Alliance members to enable interoperable and certified ZigBee applications for the sub-1 GHz frequency band,” said Vasiliy Suvorov, CEO of MeshNetics. ”ZigBee is experiencing tremendous growth across a wide variety of industries and we believe that sub-1 GHz solutions will further extend ZigBee’s appeal and fuel its growth.”
The ZigBit 900 module is based on Atmel’s innovative hardware platform featuring AVR Microcontroller and the latest RF transceiver. The brand new AT86RF212 is a low-power, low-voltage transceiver designed specifically for low cost IEEE 802.15.4-2006, ZigBee, and high data rate ISM applications. The AT86RF212 boasts the best-in-class sensitivity combined with the very low power consumption. Its MAC and AES hardware accelerators improve overall system power efficiency and timing. The ZigBit 900 packs the MCU, RF transceiver and all the circuitry in just under half a square inch of space.
“We congratulate our partners at MeshNetics with being the first company to deliver RF modules for 900 MHz band paired with the ZigBee PRO Feature Set software,” said Magnus Pedersen, Atmel’s Director of Product Marketing MCU Wireless. "Atmel’s industry-leading ZigBee hardware and MeshNetics expertise in module manufacturing and software create a winning combination for OEMs and system integrators that look to adding ZigBee capability to their products.”
Pricing and availability
Engineering samples of the ZigBit 900 (Part# MNZB-900-B0) and Development Kits are available immediately. They can be ordered online at shop.meshnetics.com, and also available through distribution. The new module is priced at USD 27.60 for volume quantities of 1K. Mass production is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2008.
