Normally cutting (jobs) costs is well recieved by the markets. However, in that case if nothing else is done (Government support) the spike maybe short lived.

Thank you for the congrats, ya this is one you can put away and forget about for a while. I think from this point fwd prob best to hold than chase beer money. I think it is rated 0 sell, 3 hold and 5 buy by my brokerage. They sure are not rite all the time but I feel with this one they prob are. I got a little saved just to buy dips on this one. Now that they are moving freight, got gov subsidies and more people will start flying again soon as some social distancing gets eased it prob is not worth me trying to flip.

Good call, same when I was looking at airlines I figured best to go with the one that will always get bailed out no matter what. AC has been saved by the government a few times I believe, probably everytime the market crashes lol. The price seemed to be attractive with lots of upside. Glad to meet everyone here and let's all make some $$$$ :)

Yup me too, it was fun to play the pump n dumps on OTC for a while, I think my best one was DOLV/JBZY in at .0016 out between .10-.15. Although I do have millions of shares sitting from ones that never went anywhere lol. But now it is time to move on to the real market for me. If you got any tips or leads please share them with me, I am always open to looking at new investments.

Welcome, Nelly. I recently bought a starter position in ACDVF on the OTCQX in the mid $13's since I am in the US.

I was looking to buy Delta and American Airlines, but I was drawn to Air Canada since I felt Canada will not let its #1 airline fail, IMO. The price drop was a great entry point for me.

Looking to see $30 and above again in the near future.

I am up 45% so far, I was planning to sell and then buy again on the last dip. But I was in the hospital when that happened, spent 4 days in there with my newborn girl and she was having a hard time after birth. So I missed that opportunity to flip last time. I am Canadian so I also bought shares in ONEX on TSX, they are a private equity firm. They bought Canadas 2nd largest airline (WestJet) a few months back and took it private. That one seems to be only going up, they also just bought a healthcare company in Europe. I have also been playing around with the cruise lines, RCL mostly. But I feel AC is gonna have some great ups and downs over next few months. You buying or selling any other airlines atm?

I have been trading it for the last few weeks since around 12+. Just got out today at 14.40! Yeh this is on an uptrend so I may go back in tomorrow!

Hello guys, I bought AC stock in the last couple weeks so I fig I might as well say hi to you guys on this board. You guys buy on the OTC or TSX exchange? I got in on TSX so my entry is $14 and grabbed some more at just over $15 CDN. I think this one is a no brainer, National airline so there is no chance of failing. Plus I see you just posted the cabin cargo news, hope everyone makes some money here. Anyone here invest in any other airlines?

3:40 PM EST - Chorus Aviation Inc. : And its subsidiary Jazz Aviation LP announced today that Jazz and Air Canada, through its freight division Air Canada Cargo, will begin operating the recently approved Dash 8-400 Simplified Package Freighter developed by De Havilland Canada to short and medium haul markets under the Air Canada Express banner. These reconfigured aircraft will carry a total of 18,000 lbs [8,165 kg] of cargo in the passenger cabin and belly.
