after flipping this one twice for a small gain both times I've started accumulating shares again-once I see it gain some steam instead of stall out I would like to hold shares for a much higher price. Would need a pass and hold of 17.00 first.

Chardan Capital Markets upgrades AAVL to Neutral from Sell and sets target price at $20 noting they feel that recent share price movements may have been overdone. Firm does not see much scope for co to trade well below recent prices ($15-$16), given: 1) the $11.50 cash per share position, 2) their belief in the importance of gene therapy, per their prior research, and 3) the likelihood that M&A interest in Avalanche could pick up given the cash position and given the interest already shown by adept bigger-cap players in the space. Although upside from here to their $20 price target would normally qualify co for a Buy rating, firm looks for further visibility and/or confirmation on AVA-101 NT catalysts that could take the stock to $20.

Agree. i am expecting news at the beginning of July. Since then, trading in a tight range. I have not seen any news that prompted the up on Friday or the down yesterday.

Depends on how it's trading. $40 could show some resistance , but if not I'll consider taking some profit at 45 and let the rest sit through the data release

I understand in CLDN... Rough beat there. It's part of the reason cheaper shares came available in the other gt tickers like this one. That said, I think this is a bit of a safer situation here. I also dont look gift horses in the mouth. I'll take profit along the way. I like buying in thirds and taking profits in thirds. My position is rounded out after 3 buys, and I'll happily take profits as they come..

I actually bought more and doubled my position at 34.80$ (previous I have at 38$). I have not decided yet if I will hold through data. After CLDN bad data, I can only be cautious. What is your take on recent insider sales?

Bought at 40.25, nibbled again at 35, loaded the boat under 30. Now I sit and wait. I've rounded out my position... Avg cost basis is now a shade under $35. Going to hold through the release of the next clinical trial results early this summer. If it maintains the course from the last results this stock will blow through 45 and head back towards the $60 mark.

Could see a natural pull back towards 33-35 between now and then, but nothing to be alarmed about
