All of the mindless speculation by people attempting to bash this stock, so they can buy more.... Child please!! If the company did file BK, it would actually possibly help them. This with the addition of a grant would allow them to restructure its debt while having proper funding to continue work on its strong drug candidates. Even the village idiot knows this is a buy! Bk doesn't mean it closes its doors. Look at Vermillion, received FDA approval while in BK at .05 and went to over $30 within a month. who are yall kidding trying to bash this stock like its dead? "Advanced Life Sciences further announced that it has reached an agreement with the Leaders Bank to amend the terms of its existing loan. As part of the agreement, Leaders Bank has waived the existing defaults and the Company has agreed to make an interest reserve payment of $186,000 by January 10, 2011. The due date for the $1.1 million principal payment that is currently due has been extended to April 1, 2011. This $1.1 million principal payment as well as an additional $1.0 million principal payment also due on April 1, 2011 can be further extended to January 1, 2012 if the Company pays $486,000 in additional interest reserve by April 1, 2011."

The news is out on Jan 3, 2011.

I agree...and I am waiting for that sub penny before I jump in...This drug works and this company failed due to outside forces...unless the Flavins were in on it too...But JMHO I doubt that was the case...This should have been approved 7/09 with this stock being easily close to 15 bucks per share now...

To your point Surf, I would hope they would have some/any positive news to report, but to go more than 2 months without ANY update from the company is alarming. Only news out recently has been negative (dilution of stock, Leaders Bank claiming Advanced is in default, etc). If they don't have any positive news to share regarding a potential partner/acquirer, then the call will be very short. And it can't be the old "we're in discussions with several companies" type of jargon, because they need to be specific regarding their gameplan. Sub-penny will soon be upon us if there isn't any positive news next week.

I hope you are right. I believe in Restanza. Our national security needs this drug. Plus, I am very hopeful that this stock will at the end of the day bring us big rewards. I must admit, I cannot find a July 31, 2011 for FDA approval for Restanza. However, Restanza is a post Phase III drug and I think it may be found on a different calendar. I am with you!! I am long on ADLS.

next event schedule is 7/31/2011 if restanza gets approval its easily a billion dollar drug....based on o/s shares this is a $4 dollar stock based on 1x sales...if july is the date then we have plenty of time to load up at depressed prices...i would suspect that if things are going well and funding is raised we should start seeing some share price increase over the next 30 - 45 days prior to announcement.

BKstock, I think that is old information. I checked the ADLS web page and they say nothing about a submission to the FDA in 2011. Clearly, any submission to the FDA would be important and would be reported on the web page. Right now ADLS needs to get through this nasty liquidity crisis. I think she will make it. Heaven knows Restanza is a great drug that is needed for national security reasons. Let's hope Brother Flavin can pull the rabbit out the hat.

It would have been nice if ADLS has gone up even just a little today. Nevertheless, the fact that it did not go down any further is a good sign. It even came off its new low. The worst may be over. However, I believe as soon as this stock settles down, it should drift back up. This is a short term liquidity crisis. ADLS's Restanza is a great drug and our military needs it badly. I believe this stock will make pay dirt for anyone who has the patience to hang in there. My TP is .50 in 6 months. GLTA
