I did not think antibiotics could help fight a virus.
If it's not their debt of $10M and their SEC Filings delinquency I would put big chunk of my money for Ebola play here. OS 10M AS 105M.
Stock deleted from NASDAQ on 05/05/09
Drug in late stage III
http://www.advancedlifesciences.com/restanza.htm
This market is crazy now,but Ebolamania would don't care about their debt and FDA just might approve this drug very soon....if things get out of control.imho
Price now at 0.015-0.03
But as long as they are delinquent - it's a huge risk for SEC suspension at any time.imo
ADLS is a delinquent SEC Filer at high risk of an SEC Suspension for Financials delinquencies:

You know me from the solar3d board. I have a new forum you might be interested in especially now with the clutter on our board. Email me at chiinkwia @ gmail dot com. I'll explain. Thanks.
It seems to be getting better volume as of late? Mostly at the higher ask? ALMOST 3X BID...Any thoughts on OS or recent volume?...Why 3X bid is selling?...$2000 the other day!....Not shabby for a dark sleeper IMHO....THANKS...asit
Anything going on with sleeper?.....I would think with all the talk of pandemic this and resistance threat that?....A phase 3 ANTIBIOTIC should be worth alot with all this talk......Is this company still around?...Do they still own restanza?..Anyone got a clue while this still trades?...Is that all the shares out there?..Nice little chunk trading today..Thank you in advance.
I got out long ago on the FDA failure and havent looked back..............just saw you here and have respect for you
so I ask.........regards
I am just holding the shares until zero or a big move up. The insiders still own large % of the stock, will something come from that? I have not seen any recent info that would lead me to do anything but continue to just hold the shares(waiting).

ADLS back on my radar, the stock has gone sideways for over 2 years, but recent upward PPS action has caught my attention again. Always thought ADLS would go to zero or be a huge winner from current levels. The Falvin's that ran ADLS are in a biotech portfolio & seeding venture. Still holding 600k shares & waiting, anyone have any other updates, please post:

I WILL TAKE 'EM ALL.
Sold the last of my shares today. Hated to sell, been in this one for a long time. I will continue to follow ADLS but will not comment here, not my place anymore.
GLTA
I need some money people I'm selling off shares, 2000 share blocks at .04 any takers.
Nobody ever really explained the "166" share thing going on. And, there it is again. It has to be a broker trying to make more commission.
Wealthyking...first, if you "walked away" after the R/S why are you still here? and second let me explain what really killed longs. It wasn't ADLS it was the government. During the Clinton admin. with war looking more and more likely a bunch of Clinton campaign donors, and the Clintons themselves, bought into the drug company that supplies the drugs to the military for anthrax and several other bio possibilities. The drug used today only works 50% of the time and has major side effects. ADLS came up with a drug, restanza, that works. It has a 100% survival rate with no side effects. But since the politicians would lose millions they forced the FDA to not give ADLS the approval that they needed to get the drug to the market but more importantly the military that needs it the most. So don't blame ADLS, they stayed in business as long as they could afford to and are now hoping to find the money somewhere to start testing again. I don't think testing will do any good because the FDA will just shoot them down again. Their best bet to get the drug to the military is to merge or just sell the rights to the drug to a big company the government wouldn't say no to. Personally I hope ADLS stock goes through the roof some day, not because I will make money but you won't. lol
And explain to me why that's funny.
ADLS killed the longs, lol
here ya go, my history with adls
Stocks 133 (after R/S) ADLS Advanced L Us00765h30 02/01/10 05/06/11 $895.96 $4.75 -$891.21 Long
notice i walked away with 4.75 after the R/S on a $895.96 investment
Stop selling at the bid price people. Make them pay if they want in. Your killin us longs.
Did you see what dropped the price back to .037? 166 shares again. Watch Monday it will go back to .04 and after 3pm 166 shares will drive the price back down.
I believe there was a 30-to-1 reverse split in March 2011. Thus anyone who owned 5,000 shares before the split now has 166 shares.
Can someone explain the 166 shares to me.
The same 166 shares drove the price down again wtf
total volume 166... whoever sold at the ask I hope your happy with your $6 you cost me a fortune.
Looks like I'm the only volumne today. needed the the 2100 to give me a nice round number LOL
Wish the company would say something, anything. Even if it's just, " hi thanks for hangin in there with us"
I wonder what happened with IDLS. Did it ever file bankcrupcy?
we may hear FDA approval news in the next PR, who knew?
????? Don't know! Sure not a whole lot going on here!
Hello! Looks like this place has very little action. Go ADLS! Lol
Did anybody hear one way or the other about the grant?
I feel bad for the people who purchased the shares at $2 or above. It drops to pennies without recovery in such a long time. I got 5000 shares at 8 cents each and sit back for good news. GLTA
Maybe they will get the grant tomorrow, probably no news one way or the other until after market close Friday.
people lost insterest in ADLS. I wonder what's going to happen next. Will ADLS ever resume it's operation. It's must one step down to FDA approval to commercialization of their product. Kind of a waste if no funding from any party
Where is everyone?
Holding our collective breath until tomorrow?
I am sure ADLS's management term have been reaching out to get funding to continue the operation. They will find investors or grant eventually. No worries. I picked up 5000 shares at .05 and just sit back and relax. I am looking to add more shares at right price
I believe your right, I've been holding for over a year and I'm not going anywhere. I just hope that if they get the grant it's enough to slip under the table to the FDA, that seems to be the most important thing to the government.
ADLS will bounce back eventually when the company secure funding. Sit back and relax and watch it bounce back up
I thought that might be it but everyones known about the grant for months. Couldn't figure out why it would jump 188% in the last hour on Friday.
The reason for the pps spike last Friday was related to the potential NIAID grant that is to be awarded this month.
Read the PR below "..It is anticipated that one or more awards will be made from this solicitation and that the awards will be made on or about July 29, 2011."
$38 million over 5 years at stake here. I would expect continued upward movement for the remainder of July.

Advanced Life Sciences Submits Full Proposal to NIAID for Development of Intravenous Formulation of Restanza as a Biodefense Countermeasure
Company Requests $38 million for Development of IV Formulation of Restanza to Treat CABP and as a Therapeutic Treatment for Anthrax, Plague and Tularemia
CHICAGO, Nov. 9, 2010 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ --
Advanced Life Sciences Holdings, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: ADLS), a biopharmaceutical company engaged in the discovery, development and commercialization of novel drugs in the therapeutic areas of infection, oncology and respiratory diseases, today announced that it has submitted a full proposal to the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) under BAA-NIAID-DMID-NIHAI2010097 Development Of Therapeutics For Biodefense. It is anticipated that one or more awards will be made from this solicitation and that the awards will be made on or about July 29, 2011.

"We are pleased to have submitted a full proposal to NIAID which, if awarded, could significantly advance the development of the intravenous (IV) formulation of Restanza(TM) (cethromycin) for the therapeutic treatment of bioterror pathogens as well as for the commercial indication of community acquired bacterial pneumonia," stated Michael T. Flavin, Ph.D., chief executive officer of Advanced Life Sciences. "In addition to the efficacy demonstrated by the oral form of Restanza for post-exposure prophylaxis of anthrax, plague and tularemia, the oral form of Restanza has also shown initial efficacy in treating anthrax infection where symptoms are present. This is significant because there are currently no agents approved by the FDA for the therapeutic treatment of anthrax, plague or tularemia and we believe that the increased bioavailability of the IV formulation of Restanza offers a promising option as a therapeutic treatment for these infections."
The Company's proposal requests $38 million over 5 years for the development of an IV formulation of its novel antibiotic, Restanza to therapeutically treat anthrax, tularemia and plague. In addition, the proposal includes pre-clinical development as well as funding for four Phase 1 clinical trials and a Phase 2 clinical trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of IV Restanza in patients hospitalized with moderate-to-severe community acquired bacterial pneumonia (CABP).
The Company recently announced positive results from preclinical toxicology and pharmacokinetic studies of an IV formulation of Restanza. Restanza was administered intravenously as a single dose up to 60 mg/kg/day. Results from this GLP study show that the IV formulation of Restanza was well tolerated and generated 10-fold greater plasma exposure compared to oral administration.
from yahoo board
Why did it go to 0.013, up 188 percent during regular hours? Both good questions. Can't find the answers.
So why is the after market at .18? and why does this board not show anything?
My position on ADLS is that it will be worthless at some point or a 10 bagger(looking more like worthless)
E = Delinquent in required SEC filings
