Who's Involved with the Design of this Engine?

Carroll Shelby,  The same Shelby that brought you the Shelby Cobra!

A Huge name and a Legend in the Motor Vehicle Industry

CARROLL SHELBY of the automotive hall of fame, legendary race car driver, and developer of the world famous Shelby Cobra, Shelby Mustangs and other high performance automobiles announces that he is entering into a joint venture arrangement with Advanced Engine Technologies, Inc. (AET).

AET, a Colorado company listed on the OTC – BB exchange (Stock Code: - AENG) owns the US rights to promote and market a revolutionary new engine known as the OX2.

The current prototype of the OX2 engine has approximately 30 parts. It is 12 inches in diameter, 10 inches wide, and weighs less than 140 lb. And has the capacity of 66.25 cubic inches. It operates on a full four-stroke system, however it uses porting rather than valves. It has no camshaft, no distributor, no oil pump, and no water pump. It requires approximately a cup of oil for lubrication purposes and no part of the engine requires viscosity support. It has only three major moving parts, however it has eight pistons. Each piston fires twice every revolution of the output shaft and at no stage do they come in contact with the bores. Rev for Rev the 66 cubic inch OX2 is capable of producing more torque and horsepower than a 350 cubic inch conventional engine.

The purpose of the joint venture is to develop vehicles and engines to demonstrate the advantages of the OX2 engine over conventional technology.

"If the performance figures are correct the OX2 engine is the most significant advancement in combustion engine technology that I have seen in my life time and it has the potential to revolutionize the world’s engine industry. We recognize that a tremendous amount has been invested in present engine technology and that an alternate would need to be a vast improvement on what is currently available. We are also aware that we need to be able to show advantages over Hybrid systems. We are confident that this has been achieved with the OX2 engine." quotes Carroll Shelby.

On the arrival of the OX2 engine in the United States Shelby arranged for several industry representatives to attend a demonstration of the engine at his research and development center in LA. At this and other demonstrations he was able to witness the performance of the engine which according to instrumentation showed the engine producing 170 ft./lb. of torque at 1250 RPM.

At this stage it is not the intention of the company to approach the automobile industry as experience has shown that it is difficult to introduce significant changes in technology from sources outside that industry. It is believed that the technology will be accepted by the auto industry when the environmental, emission and cost advantages of the OX2 engine over existing technologies have been proven.

The flexibility of the OX2 engine lends itself for use in a variety of applications including generators, pumps, standing engines, aircraft, and marine. During the past two months AET has been demonstrating the engine to interested parties in these industries, including the US military and discussions with these parties are continuing.

Advanced Engine Technologies, Inc., incorporated in September 1996, develops and commercializes the OX2 internal combustion engine. The Company acquired the worldwide rights for the OX2 engine pursuant to a four-party agreement among the Company, OX2 LTD, OX2 Intellectual Property Inc. and Advanced Engine Technology PTY Ltd., which became effective in May 1999. The Company also assumed responsibility for worldwide maintenance and for future research and development on the OX2 engine. As of June 30, 2004, the Company's operations consisted of engineering, testing, marketing and development of the OX2 combustion engine for commercial applications and raising any necessary capital investments. Management does not expect to generate significant sales revenue during the fiscal year ending June 30, 2005. Accordingly, planned principal operations have not commenced.

On August 13, 2004 the Company entered into an agreement to co-develop a generator unit to be used in conjunction with the OX2 engine. The development of this generator is expected to be completed by June 2005. The Company has an agreement with the University of California, Riverside (UCR), which provides that it will continue to provide engine testing and related services to the Company, with particular emphasis on testing related to emissions. The Company is also conducting research, development and testing activities in Gardena, California. Assuming the successful completion of the necessary research and development work and assuming the tests of its OX2 prototypes (existing and future) are successful, the Company would attempt to introduce the OX2 engine into the market. Such marketing activities may include demonstrations to manufacturers of products using internal combustion engines and the addition of joint venture and/or strategic partners to assist in marketing, development and commercial application of the OX2 engine.

Advanced Engine Technologies plans to develop the OX2 engine for commercial stationary generator applications. The Company's long-term plan is to develop an engine for commercial, marine, automobile and/or aircraft applications.

Advanced Engine Technologies, Inc. announces the introduction and ongoing development of its new and revolutionary OX2 engine. The OX2 engine represents the first real breakthrough in internal combustion engine design since the original introduction of the Otto four-cycle engine some 130 years ago.

The OX2 is an eight-cylinder four stroke internal combustion engine. Weighing a mere 125 lbs. at a width of 6.9 inches, and diameter of 12.8 inches, proves to provide a compact and lightweight engine solution for the future.

The OX2's higher power to weight ratio is just part of the equation. With its high torque, anticipated fuel efficiency, low emissions, multi-fuel capabilities, and reduced costs of manufacturing, the OX2 will prove to be a low cost high torque power solution.

Racing legend and Automotive Hall of Famer, Carroll Shelby leads the charge of the OX2 as Director and President of Advanced Engine Technologies, Inc. Under Carroll's leadership, AET has assembled a "World Class" team of directors, officers and management from various industries and disciplines. This team's diverse experience combined with Mr. Shelby's years of knowledge, industry savvy and drive, create an unstoppable force behind the OX2 engine.

Advanced Engine Technologies, Inc.
Incorporated in the State of Colorado, USA was formed to commercialize the OX2, a state-of-the-art, uniquely designed, internal combustion engine.

Our Mission
Successfully achieve commercial introduction of the OX2 engine. The primary focus of the company will be on the commercial introduction of the OX2 engine and the subsequent licensing of the OX2 engine technology to approved manufacturers.
