AXDX - well it seems major news on MRSA's... New antibiotics... And AXDX presentations muted my recent projections of a deeper bottom... Oh well... I love this company... Management... And technology... So maybe bottoms will be shallower in 2015 than previous years... As AXDX gets closer to bringing technology to market... But the upside on this stock is HUGE... It is a good stock to be ULTRALONG!!!

AXDX - mmillionaire - spoke with management everything is still in progress and on target for early Q2 2016 for monetization of the diagnostic technology... additional interest from CDC and other entities related to the diagnostic technology as it pertains to MRSA's and other infections give the technology most testing data and additionally publication materials and exposures to infectious disease physicians, pathologists and molecular laboratory directors...

The patterns of large run ups and retreats is astounding... this is the result of being a development stage company with limited revenues and a moderately long horizon for diagnostic technology to reach marketability...

This accelerated diagnostic tool is a "razor and razor blade product model"... device may sale for $50K... the specimen cartridges may sale for $150... every hospital with an ICU, CCU and Surgical center will likely buy the device for better patient outcomes for hospital related infections which are one of the highest mortalities in US hospitals... and obviously large cost due to lawsuits... so every Hospital Board (risk management) will want to spend the cost to have this accelerated diagnostic tool in their facilities...

Another important factor to monitor in 2014... AXDX was added to Russell 2000 index in June 2013 and subsequently market value exceeded $1B and was removed as of June 2014... it is highly likely that as of June 2014 AXDX will still be under $1B market value... and will be re-added to Russell 2000 index... this creates demand for shares as the Russell 2000 index through funds that access this index account for Trillions of dollars of assets...

As you see AXDX is in retreat... which is consistent with prior pattern actions... I start tracking closely in the 16s... I start buying in the 15s... it could go lower if the general market conditions go south... regardless... it has popped to over 30s twice in 2014... this stock loves Octobers... look at patterns over past three years...

This is a nice stock to buy low and sale high... and repeat... I gain lots of comfort from the fact that once the accelerated diagnostic tool achieves marketability... the North American Market for this product is over $1B for the device... more for the ongoing specimen cartridges annuity stream... the International Market for this product is over $1.5B... that is a healthy market to start selling to...

I believe the target PPS for 2nd Quarter 2016 might be conservatively $40 to $60 PPS... so this is a great LONG buy and HOLD stock as well...

Great management team that has been successful repeatedly in this sector with other companies such as Ventana and Stericycle... do some diligence and take a chance...

AXDX - All we are starting the last stage of the downward push on the PPS... typically I start looking to buy in in stages under $16 PPS... with concentration once it goes into the mid $15 PPS range... that said if general market conditions (S&P go down) track downward this could go lower... what is consistent is the up ticks... which are fast and powerful... in the past six month we have seen two trips from sub $16 PPS to over $30 PPS... and we are still 16 months from monetization of the diagnostic tool (think April 2016)... what has occurred - in June AXDX was removed from Russell 2000 and we suddenly peaked over $30... the sell off from index funds dropped the price back down toward $16 PPS in July... then "maybe" an ebola event and some news related to CDC collaboration drove PPS back up over $30 again in October (this stock loves Octobers)... and now we find ourselves getting near $18 PPS as we track down toward an intra-peak low... get ready for a buy in point staged after we go below $16 PPS and move toward $15 PPS (maybe lower if market suddenly goes south)... we should see a mid year peak above $30 PPS again in 2015... or hold this stock long... as the mid 2016 PPS should be between $40 to $60 PPS range... good hunting...

AXDX... love this company... but there won't be much to keep the price up... and SHORT there will be a lot of SHORT positions put in place again... so the PPS will have a pretty quick run down once it starts... I noticed that from July 31st to September 15th over 1M new SHORT interest were placed on this issue...

Hope you made some nice money on this October run up!...

I will be buying back in around $15-16.50 range... maybe lower if there is a general decline in market... in Nov-Jan...

It appears to me, from talking with people familiar with short selling, that this run up is due to short covering. I am not very familiar with short selling so I don't understand your statement that "shorts are loading up". Does that mean they are getting ready to sell shares they don't have? Again? You would think that they have been burned enough.

AXDX - Here was the October "run up" I promised... figure out your exit point... take your gains and sell... the SHORTS have loaded up on shares and will start their magic soon enough... this could have a steep and deep "run down"... the stock feels more comfortable below 17.50... remember AXDX needs to be below the $1B market cap for inclusion to the Russell 2000 index at the selection point... and the company is still 18 months (March / April 2016) away from the last permanent "run up" when their product reaches market and they have revenues... in the mean time... let's enjoy the cycles and know that even if you miss... this issue is a great LONG hold for your portfolio...

AXDX - I have been invested in this stock since 2008... there is typically a significant uptick as we head into Q4... also typically momentum down is never longer than 30 to 45 days... we should be hitting that range soon... lastly MACD below the line is approaching the length where it will move up... this stock does nothing smoothly... its ups are fast and sharp... as are its downs... additionally insider buying is on the up tick... and they are smart buyers and have a habit of buying at low points followed by sharp upticks... lastly the SHORTS love this stock and they need a nice run up to start their game again...

BTW this is a nice short term stock to game... but is a no lose... this stock will reach 40-50s when the game changing diagnostic equipment reaches market in early 2016... ENJOY!!
