Well, I'm glad it's over. I was taken by them and lost about $10K. I feel stupid and angry but now at least no one else will be swindled by these people.
But I can't help but think that these con artists already have something else in the works to steal more money from innocent investors. I keep wondering why they can't be arrested and imprisoned like Bernie Madoff?
Sometimes I wonder if anyone besides me hung onto the stock until it was revoked.

AVEC has got to be the longest-running scam in history. Going on nearly 20 years of producing absolutely nothing. This is an incredible company with directors that rank among the best scam artists in our time. It is an amazing feat to accomplish this long of hosing investors over and over and over again, and yet there are more at the door waiting to get in. A sucker is born every minute, it's true. Unbelievable. This should be at $0.0001 or delisted as a courtesy to the new-borns.
Hi again Annemarie. I pulled up a chart and clicked on the "accumilation/distribution" part to show on the chart besides the price per share over the years.
Hi truethat,
How can you tell that the stock is being accumulated?
Thanks -- Anne
Ya know Annemarie, most stocks are going down right now. But this one is being heavily accumilated. I wonder why? Does someone know something?
You like the technology, I do not like the history of Sam Higgins, but yet this thing is being heavily accumilated. Makes me think. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm ?
You ever wonder who else is holding these shares? I haven't been able to find more than just a handful of investors willing to admit to holding shares in this company. Only a couple of sites even has a discussion forum with any posts about AVEC.
You know, the sad thing about this is that I believe that the axial vector engine has real potential, from a technical viewpoint. I've gone over the technical specifications and I believe the lead engineer is being truthful. I don't know about the other stuff they've picked up like Petrosonics etc., but I like the engine.
I also wonder why the market makers in this stock are keeping the spread so high?
I guess I'm not ready to completely give up yet...
Well I'm glad the lead Engineer is a non flakey type, unlike the CEO with a shakey past (Samuel Higgina). I only have hundreds invested in this stock so I won't be hurt me either way. But I do not hold out much hope for it in my heart or reality.
Way back I thought it could have a little potential, but then the reverse split, and no major contracts or money coming in, etc..
Although they do release some occational nice PR's which I do not give much weight to. Only what they file to the SEC along with audited financials. I wish us both luck on this, but I pernonally am not holding my breath on this one. JMO
Hope for the best, deal with the rest! (or give God the rest)
Hope springs eternal...so many promises of success and yet nothing to actually show for it.
What I don't really have a good feel for, is how serious the management is about getting one of their many products into profitable production. I do, however, have more faith in the lead engineer, Douglas Hahn. He seems to be the one constant un-flakey person at Axial Vector.
I do know that the stock price is so low it's not worth selling out anymore. I'd rather take the small risk that it might increase one day than take the loss now.
I keep asking myself why I didn't follow my own rules for buying small cap stocks with this one, why I "fell in love" with it. It had so many bad indicators and I just ignored them.
Anyone else in the same boat with this stock? Or was I the only dumb investor?
AVEC Engine Licensee Wins US Navy Phase II SBIR Contract for New Marine Engine
4 hours 7 minutes ago - Marketwire via Comtex
Marketwire
AVEC Corporation ("AVEC") (PINKSHEETS: AVEC) (FRANKFURT: BAE1) announced today an AVEC licensee is the winner of 2011 SBIR Phase II to increase engine efficiency while reducing engine weight. Most diesel marine engines are based on industrial engines with little regard to total weight or size. Phase II SBIR award winner EngineTec, Inc., will further advance the linear drive engine concept. Douglas Hahn, president of EngineTec, Inc., has been a technical consultant for AVEC for the last five years and his team was instrumental in bringing the AVEC Workhorse engine to the demonstration phase. It was this same technology that gave Douglas Hahn the idea to reduce size and weight for military applications.
From USN Phase II SBIR Award Detail Abstract:
"By reducing the propulsion weight, the craft will be able carry more extensive payloads. The three engine choices are diesel, gasoline, and turbine. Current diesel engines don't meet the weight goal, gasoline engines are not an option due to fleet requirements and turbine engines have unacceptable thermal issues. However, a novel engine, the Linear Power Transmission (LPT) engine has the greatest potential to meet the 1lb/hp goal. The original engine design received FAA certification in the 1950s, weighed 237 lbs and produced 200 hp. In this effort, we propose to build and test an innovative multi-fuel marine engine, based on the LPT (currently in production for gensets). Project goals include an engine design that exceeds 500 HP with a weight of 480lbs with low fuel consumption."

truethat -- I appreciate your comments, I was starting to think no one else would admit to being shareholders in this company.
My other investments are nowhere near as "exciting" as this one (thankfully!). I'll choose to remain optimistic. Who knows what might happen? Maybe selling streetlights to the Saudis will be profitable enough for them to start filing financials with the SEC.
Best wishes -- Anne
AVEC Receives Order for 73 "Solar Sun System" Light Pole Units for Border Control Test In Saudi Arabia

Marketwire
AVEC Corporation ("AVEC") (PINKSHEETS: AVEC) (FRANKFURT: BAE1) announced today it has received a purchase order for 73 of its "Solar Sun Systems" Light Poles to be used as a pilot test plant for a border lighting and control demonstration. The purpose is to demonstrate how the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia could effectively secure its border between Saudi Arabia and Yemen. The gross value of the contract is $490,000 USD.
The Border between Saudi Arabia and Yemen is 1,800 kilometers (1,100 miles) and the pilot plant will have poles placed 30 meters apart. (98ft.) which is the optimum number for consistent level light and people identification.
Each unit also has motion detectors, 6-day battery backup and with the new upgrades can communicate to a central command and control, without generators, fuel, noise or a central grid.
Samuel Higgins AVEC CEO, stated, "Many governments are greatly concerned about border control and safety and wish to eliminate both smugglers and illegal immigration into their country and our system is the only turn key system available to solve both of those problems."

Annemarie, I also am going to hold my small amount of shares awhile longer. The solar streetlights sound interesting and good, but I do not trust this company. If they become otcbb and sent reports to the SEC, I would trust that more.
I do not pay attention too much to this stock anymore nor it's PR's, nor have great hope in it. I have a few others that I do, so I pay most attention to them right now. Good luck in your investments.
truethat -- I think I'm just going to hold on to the AVEC stock for the immediate future. What do you think of this solar streetlight thing they're into now? I wonder if they've all but given up making a go of the engine technology, the gensats, the Petrosonics stuff etc., I suppose clutching at straws is still better than drowning.
This recent announcement about a $750K private placement stock sale in Germany is disorienting to say the least. How do we even know that it really happened? Have I grown too cynical?
Annemarie, I have not made up my mind what I am going to do with this stock. I only bought $300 worth or so. I have wrote this one off in my mind, so I might sell if it goes up on a future PR. Or could sell any day? Or might give them one more year? Which I do not think would do not much good?
If you like penny stocks check out ZERO. Their website is www.stwa.com The oil constotium is testing out their AOT device on the US Dept. of Energys pipeline right now. Tests should be done by June or so.
I only have a few penny stocks these days, and this one I think could have huge potential. If I trade a stock these days I prefer blue chip ones, and it has to be great timing according to a chart. Although I look a little at the SEC reports and auted financials. Not as much on the PR's.
Good luck with your trading. Have you check out Roth IRA's?
truethat -- I guess we're in the same sinking boat. So do we stay in the boat and hope to be rescued or do we abandon ship and try to swim to shore (through shark-invested waters)?
I keep hoping that despite his checkered past, Higgins is really trying to build a successful company and that perhaps some of his bass-ackward decisions in the past were just the desperate measures of an entrepreneur trying to keep his small company together, often making deals with the devil in the process. I really, really, hate to think that the whole thing was just a sucker punch to a bunch of small-time investors. Don't the crooked penny stock businesses go bankrupt as soon as all the money has been paid out to a cabal of "consultants" and company officers? Part of my hopefulness stems from the fact that this company keeps trying to be successful.
Does anyone know who the market makers are for AVEC? I mean, who is setting the bid/ask spread so high? AVEC used to have a low spread and therefore very good liquidity.
What's frustrating me the most is that there is almost no public information about this company. I thought that even the OTC pink stocks had to submit at least some basic financials every quarter to be legally sold in the USA. I thought that the SEC had reformed these markets somewhat -- at least that's what I was told. I wish I knew someone in Dubai who could go pay them a visit. Sigh.
Not sure if they are not legit or turning legit? But unfortunately I bought a small amount of shares many years ago after only a little research. Was sorry I did. Then someone suggested to research the CEO. If my memory is correct was something like Samual Higgins. And what I discovered was not good. REad many bad article about the stock and him. So after holding it several years they have not done much. There was a guy posting and warning people about this company on Raging Bull.
Like you I still have a few shares and am waiting for the next pop up, if that happens. And can always take the tax write off, which I might do next year, not this one?
So these days I do a lot more research, and prefer to buy strong blue chip stocks (not pennys) when we are in a bear market, then ride it up when we go to a bull market. I learned how to read charts which is important. I do not trust press releases. But I give a lot more trust to audited financials, and reports to the SEC.
Good luck.
I was acting on the very enthusiastic advice of a friend when I invested in the stock. I should have sold my shares when it first started going down, but he was so sure that this company was going to be such a huge winner in a couple of years. But I guess it's pretty much completely a lost cause now. I'm normally not much of an individual stock buyer...I like mutual funds and more conservative investments.
So that's it? Is it the general consensus that this is a company whose main goal is to just raise capital which is then paid out to a shadowy group of "consultants" and board members? No legit business at all? I mean, I could still sell what's left of my investment and maybe go out to dinner on it or something....
Annemarie. Sorry to hear you bought this stock. It has a very bad history. Research the CEO's name and you will probably be shocked? Penny's are generally very risky, but many hope for a home run.
I like to buy Blue chip stocks that are strong during a bear market when they are low priced. Learn how to read charts.
I did make some nice money when I bought SVMI at .0005 and it went all the way up to .07 cents. I sold 1/2 my shares when it hit .03 so I made a nice profit. Most penny stocks are not successful companys and don't make it.
I did risk a little money on another penney otc stock called ZERO. They are being tested by the oil consorteum right now at the US dept. of energys pipeline. Check it out at their website which is www.stwa.com , go to news and read the investors newsletter and update. Decide for yourself, ask someone with knowledge in that area.
Good luck with your AVEC stock. Hopefully they will shock both of us. Hope for the best, deal with the rest! I have learned a few hard lessons with penny stocks.
Does anyone have any idea what is going on with Axial Vector now?
I mean, seriously? Has anyone ever talked with ANYONE in management or been able to contact any of those upstanding-pillars-of-the-community advisors they love to announce? I haven't.
Anyone get a clear idea whether or not they are truly trying to turn this into a real company that sells products or are they just going the typical penny stock route of hyping a nonexistent company long enough to grab the investors' money?
Stupidly, I bought a bunch of this stock thinking that they were a real company. But they never get past the promise-hype phase.
The 150-to-1 reverse split really disappointed me. On the one hand, it could prepare AVEC to get listed in a better exchange, but on the other hand, many penny stock companies who do this lose many of their investors and the share prices never ever recover.
For me to break even before the split, the stock would have had to have gone to $.13 per share, but now it would have to go to $20.00 per share. For some reason I believe that the former is more likely than the latter.
Thanks for the link, AVEC looking good.
CYPW just came out with great news got engine manufacturer now.
check out engine they have uses no oil.

Axial Vector Agrees To License and Sell Technology to China Under Joint Cooperation for Energy Independence
Axial Vector Engine (USOTC:AXVC)
Intraday Stock Chart
Today : Monday 24 January 2011
Axial Vector Energy Corporation ("AVEC") (PINKSHEETS: AXVC) (FRANKFURT: BAE1) announced today it has agreed to sell to one of three Special Economic Zones in China its "Rare Earth Magnet Generator Systems." Further the company has agreed to negotiate a "Strategic Framework Agreement" with a Chinese Auto Company for testing and licensing the "AVEC WORKHORSE ENGINE" for heavy duty trucks. The "AVEC WORKHORSE ENGINE" is the only true "Multi Fuel Engine" capable of using non fossil fuel such as "Palm Oil" and all hydrocarbon fuels as well to power heavy-duty trucks at a fraction of the fuel cost and environmental pollution.
Company executives will travel to China again in February to complete the negotiations. A minimum price of $5,000,000 has been set for the sale of the "Rare Earth Magnet Generator Systems."
Samuel Higgins, Chairman and CEO of Axial Vector stated "This sale of our generator systems and license on our engine will provide the needed working capital and revenue to continue the commercialization of the product pipeline and the new patents we have filed."
The company will apply this week for export certification of its products with the U.S. State Department under the Commerce Control List (CCL) of regulated commercial items as outlined by the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Many "dual-use" items that have commercial, military or proliferation applications and clearance will be needed to complete the sale.
The CCL regulates a broad array of commodities, software and technologies including, but not limited to, building materials, circuit boards, automotive parts, blue prints, design plans, software packages, and technical information.
The China / USA pipeline of "Green Technology" has opened wider with last week's visit of President Hu with President Obama.
"As the world's two largest energy consumers, China and the US will also join hands for renewable energy development," said Zhang Guobao, head of National Energy Administration (NEA), adding that China will keep an open mind to develop the renewable energy sector. "The two countries have big potential for collaboration in the area," said Zhang, "The US has advanced technology, and China has a huge market."
The US and China will "take every angle" to ensure their cooperation in energy and environment, said US Ambassador to China Jon Huntsman.
China has also pushed ahead fast in developing wind power. It overtook the United States in new installations and in manufacturing of wind turbines last year, nearly doubling its wind generation capacity from 12,100 megawatts in 2008 to 25,100 megawatts at the end of 2009.
Axial Vector "Rare Earth Magnet Generator Systems" will allow wind farms to generate commercial electricity at a fraction of the wind speed of conventional turbines, which is a huge economic benefit.
"The United States and China are actively cooperating on a wide range of security, economic, social, energy, and environmental issues which require deeper bilateral engagement and coordination," the joint statement from the White House and China said. "The two sides view climate change and energy security as two of the greatest challenges of our time."

Who is the Engine Manufacturer now that its past jan 24th
Good Morning,
i think it is time for a good news.
Hope to read something this week.
Announcing news of no news... another non-event?
Let's read this carefully: "...entered into an initial pact with UAE-based Axial Vector Energy Corp. to explore the possibility of jointly developing internal combustion engines."
So, they are announcing a non-binding letter in which they hope that there may be some possible opportunities to work together as some point in the future. This all relates to "technology" that they have previously announced as complete and ready for market, but has never materialized.
These guys are just repeating all of their obvious and lame tricks. Its not surprising, thought; if they were the east bit creative or competent, they would get real jobs.

Axial Vector Energy Corporation (AXVC) a publicly traded, development-stage company providing global energy solutions, develops multi-fuel engines and generators for use primarily in military and commercial applications. Founded in 2002, with headquarters in Portland, Oregon, Axial Vector - through a joint venture agreement with Adaptive Propulsion Systems, LLC - develops and manufactures their engines and generators with an eye toward environmental responsibility and social benefit. Axial Vector (AVEC) owns, develops and licenses a technologically advanced suite of internal combustion engines and electric power generation modules. The company has also developed the world’s only “coreless” no iron electric motors, which consume one half the electricity of conventional electric motors. These cutting-edge technologies are focused on fulfilling global engine and energy needs by delivering greater fuel-efficiency, cost effectiveness, versatility, and environmental sensitivity than ever before in venues from the commercial to the industrial, including the vehicular and military sectors. THE AXIAL VECTOR ENGINE The revolutionary Axial Vector Engine is AVEC's flagship technology and will serve as the core of the company's initial market applications. This incredibly powerful, lightweight, and highly efficient radial-design engine is capable of producing significantly higher horsepower and torque with considerably lower fuel requirements than is the case for conventional engines of similar size. At the same time, the Axial Vector Engine is less costly to manufacture and operate, and provides significant environmental advantages over standard internal combustion engines. Specifically, the Axial Vector Engine:
The first production engine built using the advanced AVEC engine technologies is the "Workhorse 7.2", a multi-fuel, low-emission, high-horsepower, high-torque engine with multiple commercial, military, and vehicular applications that is designed to be the best engine available in its class.
POWER GENERATORS AND GENSETS In addition to its engine technologies, AVEC has designed a revolutionary new family of high-power "Axial Flux" coreless electric generators that reach 98.5% efficiency in converting mechanical to electric energy. AVEC's Axial Vector Engine is designed to be seamlessly integrated with two 100 kW Axial Flux generators in order to create a 200 kW generator set (GENSET) that is expected to become AVEC's first commercially marketed product. View our Flash Animation of Major Components. Because of their advanced design and high native fuel efficiency, AVEC's GENSETs have tremendous potential in the high-end generator market, with the capacity to become one of the most versatile and lowest-cost power generators in the world. Some of the advantages of AVEC's GENSETS are:
There are numerous potential high-value markets for AVEC's GENSETS, including backup generator systems, emergency generation during catastrophes, electrification programs in Third World countries, and motor power systems for high-energy-use consumer and commercial appliances like refrigerators and air conditioners. MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL APPLICATIONS Military Applications Military and commercial applications represent an enormous, near-term market opportunity for the AVEC engine and GENSETs. The Axial Vector engine is ideal for military applications for a variety of reasons; including greater fuel efficiency, smaller size, significantly lower weight, the presence of fewer operating parts, and an unmatched weight-to-horsepower and weight-to-torque ratio. The Axial Vector Engine is currently being tested for use on mobile military platforms and for fulfilling various military propulsion and other needs. Multi-Fuel CapabilitiesUnlike most existing, gasoline-fueled engine technologies, the Axial Vector Engine was designed to run efficiently on multiple types of fuels, a significant benefit to the US military since the military has been directed to phase out use of all gasoline-powered engines within the next few years. Significantly, the Axial Vector Engine can run on diesel fuel, kerosene, bio-diesels, JP5 and JP8 military fuels, ethanol, and blends of these fuels. A special conversion kit is also available for the combustion of natural gas or propane. Digital Control and Remote DiagnosticsOne of the most important benefits that the Axial Vector Engine and AVEC GENSETs offer in military deployments is the GENSETs' top-level control system. Known as the FADEC (Full Authority Digital Engine Control) system, this control regime enables fully integrated digital control of the GENSET, including a wide variety of operating parameters like ideal engine speed. Because the system is satellite-communication capable, the GENSETs can be remotely monitored and diagnosed — critical feature for geographically wide-ranging and often inhospitable military environments. Commercial ApplicationsIn addition to military applications, the consumer automobile market also offers significant potential for deployment of AVEC engine technologies. Important benefits like improved gasoline mileage and reduced emissions will be compelling reasons for the technologies' adoption. Further, the same digital FADEC control system employed in military versions of the engines can be used in automotive applications to constantly monitor and maintain optimal engine performance. In vehicular settings, AVEC engine technologies also can be used in a number of non-automotive applications, including tractors, loaders, forklifts, and farm and forestry vehicles. Versions of the AVEC engines and GENSETs also can be deployed, in scaled-down fashion, in a variety of consumer and commercial appliance applications, like refrigeration and air conditioning, in which substantial amounts of electric power are currently being used.
