I got out of this mess at 14.80 as it was still dropping. I only lost 200. Now its in the 13's ? REALLY?
Not on sale. Perhaps deeply troubled. Perhaps unquantifiable risk.
"AT&T shares hit three-decade low as lead cables risk weighs"
"NEW YORK (Reuters) -Shares of AT&T Inc fell more than 5% to hit their lowest level in thirty years on Monday, after analysts downgraded the stock following a news report that the telecommunications giant left toxic lead cables buried across the United States."
"A Wall Street Journal report on July 9 named AT&T and Verizon among several telecom giants that abandoned a sprawling network of underground toxic lead cables, with a huge number of them possibly contaminating neighboring soil and drinking water sources.
Analysts at Citigroup and JPMorgan both lowered their recommendations on AT&T shares in recent days. The stock has lost a quarter of its value so far this year, having dropped 12% since the Wall Street Journal report. The shares hit a low of $13.68 in Monday's session, the lowest since March 1993.
AT&T faces unquantifiable financial risks that would create a "long term overhang" for the stock since the company probably has a significant exposure to the toxic lead cables with its network reaching about 40% of homes in the U.S., Citi analysts, led by Michael Rollins, said in an investor note."

Verizon stock leads Dow losers after AT&T earnings
Mentioned: T TMUS VZ
Shares of Verizon Communications Inc. (VZ) fell 3.7% Thursday, leading Dow Jones Industrial Average losers in the wake of peer AT&T Inc.'s (T) earnings report that showed slowing growth in postpaid phone subscribers and a miss on quarterly free-cash flow. Verizon is due to post its own first-quarter numbers before Tuesday's opening bell. AT&T's postpaid phone net additions of 424,000 indicates the "switcher pool could be shrinking," Citi Research analyst Michael Rollins wrote in a note to clients following the report. MoffettNathanson's Craig Moffett wrote that investors "won't know until other companies report the extent to which AT&T's subscriber deceleration reflects a loss of market share versus simply a slowing market." Shares of T-Mobile US Inc. (TMUS) slipped as well Thursday, dropping 1.9%, while AT&T's stock logged a 10.4% decline, making for its largest single-day percentage decline since Dec. 19, 2000.

That’s gonna hurt the company a bit.
$T Has $160.6 Billion DEBT
Why billions in revenues and profits that I saw on this board, not sure when the period is for
Someone posted might be hard to collect money from customers
Exactly and thanks. That is why I was applauding the recent ATT move with Discovery et al. Better use of cash and what is so laughable about the Seeking Alpha art' is this:
https://tvanswerman.com/2022/05/11/directv-does-nfl-sunday-ticket-make-a-profit/
Google paying around 2 billion a year for the Sunday ticket rights, AT&T was paying around 1.5. Nice chunk of change they can put to better use
It's Seeking Alpha..and the only art' mentioning such a thing. All because of the NFL Ticket move to youtube. That's a pretty far stretch.
Not sure what there is to wonder about. If you're not in it for income..your target is a rough $30. This equity has a very predicable channel. You're now at the bottom of it.
Had a mini run and now wonder about the trend
