#AMC
— Let's Be Frank (@Lets_Be__Frank_) September 21, 2024
It's exciting to see $AMC holding strong at key technical levels like the 200-day moving average and the 21-week moving average.
The potential for a significant breakout, similar to what we saw with GameStop in 2021, is intriguing.
Currently, AMC is trading around $4.76,… pic.twitter.com/uPAppV4fQF
Amc broke 200ma, retested multiple times & held. Retested 21 Weekly. It held. Now picture Amc doing a Gme (2021), over the next quarters. 5 dollars at the 200 breakout, top exploding out into a full on squeeze, above 200 Weekly. New highs.

$GME up $2 and change. They can't keep these tickers down. No way,
$AMC baby~!
as much as they like to pretend, what they are doing is not for free. it’s costing big bucks and it’s spreading across a bunch of shorters and their counterparties.
it will explode.
🔴🔴Nebuchad, ¢0.52 cents AMC WON'T be MOASS LOL?!:
Interesting vol at close
AMC added at bell 6.565M shares prior to bell14.208M total vol for day 21.9M closing price 4.76
GME added at bell 21.94M shares prior to bell 33.65M total vol for day 59.6M closing price 21.85
NOTE: Today was huge options expiration.....plus someone purchased 4.67M shares of GME at $19.7/sh at 10:20am......hint of something!!!!
Hope you are right. I am still stuck with 3 shares I can't sell until I break even. The only Beetlejuice that was any good was made in 1988. Anything new will never compare. Vast majority of movies made today push agendas of the loony bins which I don't need to name. After they closed the insane asylum's, these people went to work as public office holders, news media, ad agencies, school teachers, psychologists, guidance counselors and Hollyweird.
AMC RSI under 30 on 60 minute chart
AMC $4.64 oversold now
MACD very bearish...looks like time to form bullish cross back to $5.00-$5.25
Q3 Box Office $200M behind last year
with 10 days to go (two full weekends) left in September
Transformers 1, the Wild Robot, Never Let Go and Beetlejuice
just has to average $20M per day total, and with more releases, even if Box office number comes in lighter, better chance of higher concessions spending over last year Q3

what bankruptcy? there's little risk of bankruptcy, especially after this current qtr and next qtr earnings
very diversified movie slate rest of 2024
🔴🔴AMC is now ¢0.46 cents (12.8x) NOT the MOASS?!:
But anyway, after the *real* AMC post reverse split price CRASH I'll average *down* even harder?
Like... after CITADEL SLF will bring price from $20 to $2?
Then, this $2 will be the equivalent of ¢0.20 cents pre-R/S, which is an *** AWESOME *** averaging DOWN price wow?!
Thank you thank you thank you?
What are your thoughts about this?
Tony is wrong about one thing - unsecured debt will likely get a partial recovery in AMC's bankruptcy. But if the unsecureds don't get paid in full, shareholders get zip. So if the court allows the bondholders to take AMC into bankruptcy, shareholders get zip. Most likely the moviegoers won't see much difference. That's the important thing, the customers.
beware of our overinflated markets. everything looks great before an election.
this really makes amc look like an even better buy with it getting beat down imo.
Looks like there is a reason for price stagnation of AMC price....as I mentioned it is very
unusual that rising tide doesn't lift all stocks.....but price action may be related to bond holders dissatisfaction with lose of collateral on bonds they hold
as a result a lawsuit...I believe the bonds round out to about 800$M....major power players holding
these bonds.....they want their insurance back......
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/spurned-bondholders-sue-amc-entertainment-220931446.html
AMC should keep cratering either way.
just remember that we are less then 2 months from an election.
the entire market, nothing is real.
🔴🔴Nice anti-AMC push here WOW? I-like-it-a-lot?!:

What are your thoughts about this?
You saw the news today - theatres are falling apart and $ billions will need to be invested, else the buildings will need to be razed due to repeated fire code violations.
i only need a move to $6.50 to be a full dollar in profit
im not calling for another squeeze, just normal trading
whatever is going on here the last 50-100 trading days with AMC stock is not normal
- 🎬 **Theaters are a dying breed.** Let's face it—streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, and others have fundamentally changed the way people consume entertainment. The days of packed theaters are over. Why would someone spend their hard-earned money on tickets, overpriced snacks, and drive to a theater when they can stream new releases at home? AMC is clinging to an outdated model in a world that's rapidly evolving. The *movie theater experience* just isn't enough to compete with the convenience and cost-effectiveness of streaming anymore, especially post-pandemic. Their entire business model is *out of sync* with where the entertainment industry is headed.
- 💸 **Debt is strangling AMC.** The company is buried under mountains of debt, and it’s not just a minor issue. It’s a crisis. They’re issuing more debt just to stay afloat, but at some point, this bubble will burst. They can't generate enough revenue to manage it, let alone grow the business. Meanwhile, they continue to dilute shareholders by issuing more stock, constantly signaling that they're in **survival mode** rather than setting themselves up for success. Every time they issue new shares, the value of existing shares drops—it's a slow bleed for anyone still holding on.
- 😬 **Desperate, gimmicky management moves.** The leadership at AMC isn't acting like they're running a serious, forward-thinking company. Instead, they’re pulling every stunt in the book to grab attention. Issuing meme stocks and NFTs, trying to ride the wave of the retail investor craze—it’s all smoke and mirrors. These aren’t calculated business decisions to help the company grow; they’re desperate attempts to stay relevant in the news cycle. Management is playing to the crowd rather than making real strategic choices. It’s all about the short-term buzz, not long-term stability.
- 📉 **AMC's fundamentals are abysmal.** Let’s talk about reality for a second. AMC’s valuation is grossly inflated, driven by meme stock hype and retail sentiment, not by any solid financial foundation. The numbers just don't add up. Revenue is unreliable, and profits are a distant memory. Theaters have high operational costs, and with fewer people attending, it’s just not sustainable. When you dig into the financials, you see a company on the edge, not one poised for a comeback. The stock might be riding waves of excitement, but the fundamentals are screaming “stay away.”
- ⚠️ **This is all short-term hype—nothing more.** Sure, there’s volatility. Sure, AMC has moments where the stock price shoots up thanks to hype, Reddit buzz, or short squeezes. But at the core, this isn't a long-term play. The excitement is fleeting, but the company’s problems are very real. Investors need to ask themselves—do they believe AMC will still be standing, let alone thriving, in 5 or 10 years? Betting on AMC isn’t just risky, it’s reckless. This isn’t a serious investment, it’s a **gamble**. And the house almost always wins.
AMC is playing a losing hand, and anyone putting their chips on the table needs to be prepared for the fallout.
You need to factor in the debt. AMC has a negative overall shareholders equity of ($1,848,000), and as of 6/30/24, AMC had a negative book value per share of (-$4.70)
AMC is a struggling ticker being crushed under a mountain of debt, which has never tracked the overall market or indices. Why would today be any different?
In all my years of investing in stock never seen the crime of manipulation of price as with AMC....
dow up over 600 and amc negative......REALLY!!!!!!!
This only tells me that someone or plural can't afford any price on upswing with AMC...and
that considering all fundamentals on this stock!!!
Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Still Holding and will for years if need be.....
nb forget about any squeeze notion....amc will rise in price with fundamentals in the years
to come......JMO
DOW up 500 NAS up 500 AMC -.01
wtf is going on here
Also don't forget that they had to file BK while $AMC did not and has had financials improving for 13 consecutive Quarters as well as beating the Street's estimates for those Quarters as well
***** AMC lower lows lower highs , private equity doing a Masterful job slowly destroying this company- wh👀ps
ENOUGH SAID

to fix our markets we have to get rid of the crooks.
hello from beautiful key west!
how depressing for shorts with the volume lately. the volume is mainly their wash sales. it’s a bomb waiting to explode and heavy buy volume is lit fuse.
it’s coming…
Sounds logical. Thanks. I just don't know why the theaters here are empty. Makes no sense. But I will take your word for it.
the average ticket price for IMAX or DOLBY is $25
and they are adding more of those every year
as long as AMC can control their fixed costs, and the number of releases stays consistent, they should be able to turn cash flow positive
i didnt even mention food sales, or merch sales
the rest of the 2024 movie slate should turn out pretty well for AMC
The amount of people paying to see movies. Do I actually have to spell it out? Incredible. The more people paying, the more profit to AMC, etc. Wow.
what do the 1980s have to do with 2020s?
What does a holding company have to do with real life? They can say anything to the public they like. I judge by boots on the ground and my own eyes. The movies theaters where I live on Long Island are dead. Come and see for yourself. They are a shell of their former selves. I remember the days of long lines out the doors in the 1980's and 1990's.
if theaters were dead CNK would not be making 52 week highs
CNK is at its highest level since COVID forced everything to close
AMC obviously in different situation in terms of debt issues but theaters are not dead
