Typical opportunistic lawyer looking for 33% of any class action recovery.
LAWSUIT - SHAREHOLDERS TO RECOVER LOSSES
NEW YORK, Aug. 4, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Tripp Levy PLLC, a leading national securities law firm, announces that it is investigating potential securities claims on behalf of investors of AAC Holdings, Inc. (AAC) resulting from allegations that AAC may have issued materially misleading business information to the investing public.

The indictment relates to the death of a patient in 2010 at American Addiction Centers, to which AAC is a parent company. The indictment was brought against three former AAC employees, AAC president Jerrod Menz, and a current employee. Menz stepped down from his role as president, as well as from the board of directors, following the news.
On the announcement, shares of AAC fell as much as 53%, the biggest drop since AAC went public in October 2014. Trading on the stock has been temporarily halted.

That's great news. Some some AM trades in the $32 range.
CEO and director buys shares today (AUG 4th, 2015)!!! BIG UP TOMORROW!!
That's a $650,000 investment between the 2 of them
The CEO bought 16,666 shares @ $21 average, so around $350,000 investment, and then the director buys 15,000 @ $20 average, that's a $300,000 investment, that's gotta tell you something, $650,000 between them today. Huge confidence in their company, ponying up the money because they both know that this drop is way over done/over blown.... great opportunity in my opinion, good luck, long and strong!

Actually I'm happy with my 16's lol. Got lucky with that buying opportunity.
terrible day/week folks...
hopefully this can all be cleared up and confidence regained.
Still strong around $20...
... hopefully that is some support!
EOD sellers now...sub $20
A slew of buyers at around $21 ...
Get your cheapies! This was a $44 stock just one month ago!
whoo hoo +$1500 in 3 minutes. God I love a good bounce.
I bought in lower also...
... I'm holding as I think the bad news is already priced in. I would say a 65% haircut from it's highs is what as known as "priced in". The company just had an outstanding quarter... you don't do that by mistreating patients on a regular basis!!
HUGE buyers stepping up...
...could trade HALF the outstanding shares today! Holy smoke!
good buy!
AAC should counter-sue that idiot on bleecher report for slander!
This is all conjecture at this point....
I believe AAC will be fine in the long run. But it may take awhile to regain momentum.
Deaths happen all the time in healthcare facilities... it's unfortunate, but true. That is why they have insurance. Can't sue everyone for everything. Life and death happen.
Thought the halt was for MATERIAL news
I see it now...nice rebuttal to the charges.
This blows chunks...
If the news comes out after hours and its bad. People holding will be upset smh
Not any time soon! Hope you sold!
Halt code is T1: Halt - News Pending
Trading is halted pending the release of material news.
Great...article just out that says this BleekerStreet guy from the seeking alpha articles is a 21 yr old college kid...

here come the lawyers.....so funny..... like clockwork
Total hatchet job article...hopefully this begins trading again soon. I plunked $4k into it and it was promptly halted lol.
Got to love the disclosure on that article and the fact it was 10 minutes after market opened.
Aug. 4, 2015 9:40 AM ET | About: American Addiction Centers (AAC)
Disclosure: I am/we are short AAC. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from Seeking Alpha). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.
The shorters weren't satisfied the the PPS drop after the murder conviction announcement on the day of the earnings release.
Seeking alpha article stoked the fear last time and it worked again. Hopefully they are satisfied this time.
The drop was due to the murder charges against several officers of the company from 5 years ago. Not sure how long the halt will last...
any Idea why the drop?? the halt didnt release info
Yes and it rightfully should be
Yep...halted according to Scottrade. That's just wonderful...
Is it halted???
I had to sell a stock that I liked even more than AAC...
But you must strike quickly to make the big bucks... hopefully it was a smart decision for both of us!
Wow...nice. I managed to get a whopping 250 shares at $16 but that was all the extra cash I had on hand.
Yeah I waited a bit longer to make sure the hemorrhaging was over. Still got in under $17
I bought at around $16.25 avg....
1000 more shares. I think this will blow over.... eventually. Not sure how long it takes. Maybe a long climb back however. Company needs to SPEAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All we know is....the shorters covered their positions. So if it was them behind any of this, they're now satisfied and there shouldn't be any resistance on the way back up!
I bought more in the dip today. Everything seems just reputation not fundamentals. Here's to hoping
no idea... they seem solid but you read some articles and you don't know what to think. I just hope this is over and the price will rise from here :)
Well folks... a buy op of the century??
Or is this company all smoke and mirrors??
Not sure what just happened....
... the company just lost half their value in one week... would be nice if the company did some explaining on what is going on....
It's been a blood bath!
Today just wiped out a year long bull run, oh my!
Now trading has been halted.
And now it's dropping like a rock...
