Wolverine Exploration Announces Acquisition of Gold Property in British Columbia
[ACCESSWIRE]
Vancouver, British Columbia, June 12, 2013-Wolverine Exploration Inc. ("Wolverine") (OTCQB:WOLV) announced today that it has entered into an Agreement (the "Agreement") with 0969015 B.C. Ltd ("0969015") to acquire the Eureka Project Claims located in the Cariboo Mining District of British Columbia. Under the terms of the Agreement Wolverine will issue 35,000,000 common shares to 0969015 at a deemed price of USD$0.01 as full consideration for the acquisition of the Eureka Project Claims.
The Eureka Project Claims, with a total area of 3,910.67 hectares (9,663.5 acres), are immediately adjacent to the Wingdam Project. The property is located along the north and south banks of Lightning Creek, spanning south to Sovereign Creek at its confluence with Atis Creek. Highway 26 runs along the northeastern boundary and the Swift River forest service road runs through the property. All areas of the property are accessible by forest service roads. The property is located 30 km east of Quesnel in Central British Columbia. Access is via the all-weather Barkerville Highway No. 26, then by logging and mining roads through the property.
The Cariboo Mining District in south-central British Columbia has a history as a world-class producer of gold.
Click Here to view map of Cariboo District.
One of the richest producers was the underground mine at Wingdam with historic gold production noted at approximately 26,888 ounces of gold, mined from 153,672 tons.
Overall, historic gold production in the Cariboo area was approximately 3.8 million ounces, 2 million from placer operations and 1.8 million from lode deposits. These totals are an estimate only as prior to 1874 production was not recorded. 90 percent of the placer gold was recovered from Late Pleistocene, pre-glacial and interglacial gravels in buried paleo-channels of modern stream valleys. In addition, the placer operation from the Bullion pit at Likely, BC produced 175,000 ounces of gold and 1,800 ounces of platinum. Gold and platinum were also reported in placers in the Frank Creek area in similar proportions.

Just found out about Aurcana's 8 to 1 reverse split. Hopefully you did not get hammered by this event. Small miners are a speculative place to be these days. Everything going along fine...future looks bright...then wham, out of the blue. What was AUNFF trading at just before the split? S~P
Bitcoin was crashed by the cabal (central bankers) because it was rising faster than any other FIAT currency on Earth. Its the first thing I thought when it crashed then rumors that it was them were in the alternative media after I thought this. I dont really care, its a matter of principal for me to own them.
I bought 200.00 face value of Silver junk today at 24.71 - even Silver and Gold are getting pummeled. Owning Silver is as much a matter of principal for me as Bitcoin. I could buy more Silver with my Bitcoin but I will not. I wont sell bitcoin until it gets down to where I bought it. At that point, I will capitulate.

Hey, man - you can banter on all you want and I will read it. I respect you. Im not an end times person either. But if you arent prepared beforehand there wont be anything at the stores when you need it. Plus, if the dollar tanks even more the "price" of what I own goes up. The reason Im a prepper is mainly for my family and myself secondly. "We" have 2 young children in the family and Im looking out for them. My other family members think its ridiculous and have no preps but if the need arises Im prepared to house and feed 8 people for almost a year. Its basicly insurance against uncertainty.
I got a qoute today to have steel roll down storm doors put on my townhouse like the ones people put on their places in hurricane country. I would rather deter people so I dont have to plugem with one in an extreme case.
Waiting for these to arrive - ya never know when you might need them.

I guess I'm not an "end of the world" kind of guy...just an end of the world as we know it kind. I think that the federal government will eventually devalue the dollar similar to the Mexican peso in the 1990s. ie. start printing new (possibly PM backed) dollars that are worth 100 old dollars. When we go through a period of economic turmoil, those people that have "enabled" a flow of real goods will come out on top. Conversion to PM is just a means of preserving my wealth. Things I would be doing now include: Buying a fish camp on a secluded part of the coast to harvest fish, shrimp, oysters, etc., plant a grove of fruit/nut trees, grape vines, etc. so that an a couple of years they will be in production, purchase a couple of acres of some of the best farm land to be had, with access to water, owned free and clear. Stuff like that. I don't really go for the survivalist mentally of hoarding food, ammo, medicine, etc. though like most I know of those that do... and those that don't. The latter could really care less about anything or anyone and won't until the bar lights come on...if you catch my drift. (Hence the musical chairs analogy video from Brother John).
You picked up on my concerns about my small CA pension. Formula used to calculate said pension is a certain percentage based on when you begin drawing your pension (2% at 55 rising up to 3% at 65) times number of years service times the highest base salary earned while employed. It has been a long battle to keep pension funds out of the hands of politicians and state general fund, because, if they can, if money is there politicians will spend it, draw on it, encumber it in some fashion. Federal social security is a good example. I do not expect there will be any money let over in the SS fund left when I get ready to retire. I find some satisfaction that the judge allowed the city of Stockton to proceed with bankruptcy over objections of municipal bond holding creditors who wish to spread the haircut to be taken to as many as possible:
http://news.yahoo.com/stockton-bankruptcy-decision-only-beginning-080500245--finance.html
I purposely chose to work in the public sector rather than working as an engineer in the oil business like my dad, because I saw how the private sector gave him the shaft upon retirement. I would much, much, much rather return to work under a CalPers covered public sector job, than to chase the big bucks in the petro-chemical industry down here in the Houston area (like everyone else seems to be doing lately). I worked in the private sector for a couple of years down here...making that six figure salary...and tell you what, others can have it! I'd much rather go where I'm happiest, appreciated, secure, and healthy. Death of my older brother (Muaythai) in 2010 has shown me that life is short...best to plan for the future, but live for the present. Hope I'm not rambling on to much...But I wanted you to know how I felt about PM...They aren't nothing more than a plan for the future. I wish I had started stacking a little earlier (like when I was employed, and silver was dirt cheap! (smile) Be well, S~P
One last post - this is getting absurd! It just keeps going!

I listened to 2 of your vids and took some advice from one. I bought some more Junk Silver but only one roll of war nickels. I wanted a roll of Junk Dimes but didnt want to shell out what the asking price was for them. They must be in demand because the price has risen!! The nickels were actually about 14-15 bucks cheaper than what they were priced a while ago. I have enough Silver and dont really feel any urgency to "need" more. I bought the war nickels just for the hell of it.
Ive been buying a lot of food and bottled water and things like medical supplies, toiletries, batteries, (5) 55 gallon drums of more water (10) 6 gallon jugs of gasoline. You name it, I probably have it now. People think Im crazy but that is normal - Im used to that :) They wont think Im so crazy when they dont have anything prepared and SHTF
PSSS - the link you forward to SE is the same one about Tman that I just posted - I forgot. You should listen to it anyway - it will put you at ease about your pension and such. According to him there is a bail out fund that was established long ago. Some very smart people had intuition and foresight. The bail out fund is backed by metal. This Tman dude is the real deal!!
PSS - Im listening to you vids now
PS - Tman is a financial expert
Tman is a Intelligence White Hat - you know, CIA, MI5 etc. They are the good guys!! This is a very informative interview and very rare. Spread it around!! The sound cuts out a little in the beginning but they fix the mic quickly.
I've been hearing a lot of chatter about bitcoins...not that I'm the least bit interested...forgive the pun. Give the links I posted last night on PMIC a listen. Will forward your link. S~P
Stinky - pass this link onto silver eagle. Its an interview with the White Hat named Tman and discusses the Iraqi Dinar revaluation among a lot of other stuff. Thought he might like to hear some truth instead of the BS that is usual fodder. Its good news for him and other Dinar owners!!
I have flipped Midway a couple of times. Not lately though. I've been sticking with known past producers such as HL and Silvercorp. I'm sure the US Mint and SLW are interested in their production stream. S~P
im not invested but i like MDW but its not moveing much but when jacobs finishes there work there i beleave it will move big but i have been wrong once or twice

8:53 AM ET 2/27/13 | Marketwire
Metanor Resources Inc. ('Metanor') (TSX VENTURE: MTO) is pleased to announce that it recently poured a new record 917 oz. gold bar at its 100% owned Bachelor Mill. The ore comes from the very promising Bachelor underground gold mine.
Ghislain Morin, President and CEO stated that "This gold bar is now the largest weekly bar in the history of the company thus far, and represents a significant milestone in the company's progress over the last years. We recognize and thank our underground miners for their efforts and hard work which has enabled the company to accelerate the development and ramp up of the project. The increase in quantity of gold is not only because of the mill capacity increase but also the better grade control (less dilution) with now more work areas (stopes) being mined. We are very pleased with the continued performance of the mill since the beginning of its commissioning, the recoveries of 96-98% are exceptional and our mill team is doing a great job of monitoring the process of slowly increasing the mill's capacity to its full potential."

Sure enough Sp. That's rough. Hard to say how many casualties there are from the contrived and manipulated price discovery process for metals. A lot of companies have gone down, lost CEO's and so forth. Hard to tell what is a result of bad management, and what is the result of interference in the markets. GL Sp
Good to hear from you Cork...You may understand just how disappointed I was/am with GBG. It was not the penny stock it is today. Still has some significant assets and could work it's way out of insolvency, though one would think not by selling those assets, but through gold production. This is why I'm sure I would not recoup my losses, but those that get in now may see decent returns. JMHO S~P
S_P:
Your tale of woe matches my own on several investments. I think I've sung the blues about it before on our shared forums. All I have left to say is I think the stock market is rife with thieves and scoundrels, certainly not a safe place for any funds we count on for future income.
You'll remember I was touting PCFG as a great company. They just did a dreaded reverse split. DGRI has gone silent and fallen into the trips. Nothing is as it seems anymore. Pardon my cynicism, but this is beyond risk, it's theft. I just don't know who the thieves really are. I suspect the too big to prosecute banks and broker/dealers are the scoundrels. But dishonest CEOs are certainly a possibility.
I agree with your plan to cash out your IRA and take the hit, then convert to a much larger stack. We are on our own. I don't trust the government to continue to pay my pension and am fortunate to have put money away throughout my career and doing well before the crash. I'm of the strong opinion that if we don't have an asset in our own control, we don't really own it. The rule of law is nonexistent. I'm ashamed to be a member of the bar.
You'll remember I was touting PCFG as a great company. They just did a dreaded reverse split. DGRI has gone silent and fallen into the trips.
I wish you great success as you maneuver through the minefield.
xjag
The only reason why I'm mentioning now is because GBGLF has begun trading again as of Feb 14th (trading was suspended in sept.), the value in in the brand new mine, which when sold could see this penny stock return to previous levels( $1.00?)...Or they could dilute to infinity, while the bankruptcy lawyers and JPM dither and run up their billable hours. I see know reason patrons of this board can't profit from my misfortune. Don't get me wrong this is a speculation, right now hedge funds and bottom feeders are buying up millions of shares. (frown) S~P
True, true. I did my DD on GBG. GBG looked quite promising a year ago. Trading in the $2 range, two mining concessions in the best of neighborhoods; NV Carlin Trend and Witwatersrand SA. Only new mine in Witwatersrand district since the 1970s...in operation since 2010. So they had a revenue stream, and huge reserve estimates in gold. Then the CEO resigns under duress, company goes into bankruptcy, trading halted, NYSE delisted in the blink of an eye. 20K shares at a $1.34 basis is about a $25K hit to my IRA. This is why I haven't been enthusiastically posting on Muaythai's Miners. Screw paper investments xjag! Considering liquidating other stock investments, cashing out my IRA early (take the penalty, pay income taxes, and going on a stacking binge. Thoughts? S~P
Sounds like what's left of my portfolio. I'm just glad I got out when I did or I would have been decimated. I'm at a point where I'm genuinely fearful of the country my grandson will inherit. This old soldier is well ticked off that we allowed the gangsters to take hold.
It's like having rats in the barn, you need to eradicate them early with major force.
Great Basin Gold (GBGLF) is now trading again on the pinks. Down to a penny and a half. I'm in at $1.34. Not much incentive to sell, so I'll just let her ride! S~P
You bet S^P! Timing is good on that one. Supposed to be up to 5,000 ounces by Spring. Probably an optimistic projection, but if they get anywhere near that I'd be happy.
Thanks Cork, alway like to hear of new miners. S~P
News - Metanor produces 1,718 ounces of gold in December
VAL-D'OR, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Jan. 14, 2013) - Metanor Resources Inc. ("Metanor") (TSX VENTURE:MTO) is pleased to release an update regarding the current development of its Bachelor project.
Metanor Anticipates Operating Cash Flow Positive During February
As a result of hiring new highly experienced underground miners from a recent mine closure in the Abitibi area, Metanor can now proceed to a step-up function in its ramp up schedule. It is estimated that the Company can accelerate its development by about 3 months thereby recovering some delays that had occurred due to permitting and qualified labor shortages. The Company anticipates operating cash flow positive to occur during the month of February 2013.
Ghislain Morin, President & CEO stated, "We are very pleased with the hard work and dedication of our project team in bringing the Bachelor Project into fruition, it has been a long journey but our future of is about to shine. We appreciate the support of our financial partners, suppliers, shareholders and of course, all of our valued employees."
Metanor produced 1,718 ounces of gold in December bringing the total production since the end of July to 7,876 ounces of gold. The ounces produced in December came from working stopes and development ore. The ounces came from 8,534 tons of ore grading 6.47 g/t and the mill is consistently operating at 96-97% recoveries.

This delisting comes after a halt in trading on Sept 25. Do you know what my options are at this point? The company has some significant assets, so I'm inclined not to sell (if I could). Have 20K shares at $1.34 avg, current value (when trading was halted) is 8 cents. Any thoughts? S~P
