If your going to place the “follow” “following” select button so close to the next/previous message read arrows, please make the user confirm the follow command. Better yet, move the button away from the message navigation arrows.
Why does pressing the “ following” button cause the board to be no longer followed? Why not “unfollow” as a button label?

Please please please if there isn’t a trick — like entering 10 returns LOL), then please fix this. Quotes is just jammed into the previous paragraph and it’s painful to read a long post.

100% agree on all points. I used to be able to whip through boards, esp if you’re a mod it was easy to do on a ipad, but now it’s really wonky, cumbersome, and time consuming. I’m not a fan!
iOS APP UPDATE DATING BACK AT LEAST A MONTH TO v3.43
I’ve been enjoying the iPad app for many years but, sadly, it is now nearly completely unusable:
The new layout is visually unattractive.
Images do not embed; instead there is a “suppressed image”. Some of these images will expand but most will not.
YouTube videos do not embed; instead an incorrectly formatted html link (that usually doesn’t work) is substituted.
Navigation between posts, especially following linked posts, is non-linear and often impossible.
All formatting is lost. Posts are “gray copy” without original spaces between paragraphs and other formatting options.
Difficult to post from app in that virtual keyboard obscures input after 5 lines or so.

Back in April I reported an issue with the message reply function on iPad implementation of your software where the reply button does not appear. This seems to only be an issue when an advertisement is displayed on the page. If no ad is shown the bottom three buttons appear on the screen. They appear momentarily when a screen is first drawn but once the ad loads it wipes the bottom three tabs off the screen. Mauve this will help you locate the problem and finally fix it...
What would be really helpful is if we could rearrange our favorites or if at least there could be a flag option added to highlight the tickers that are on close watch. Anything to make those in particular stand out.

A couple more things I have noticed...
1. Maybe this is by design but when a poster includes a link to another iHub post in their post, that link will not work. Links to any other website seem to work just fine.
2. Because the page forward/page back arrows are directly above the "Follow Board" button, my fat fingers often have me accidentally unfollowing my boards. Please consider moving these further apart, somehow, in a future update.

Thanks for the feedback! This was a major re-design so we are still trying to find ways to improve it. The suppressed image link should display the image on click. I will look into that issue.
Is there a thumbnail at the bottom of the post? There should be one for any posts that have images in it.
The latest Android version looks great. Having the navigation buttons at the top now will take a little getting used to, though.
The only issue I have noticed so far is that embedded images no longer appear. Just see something that looks like a link that says "Suppressed Image" but nothing happens if you tap on it.

Hello, I'm new to this forum as I did not know it existed.
My query involves a couple of issues that I've been dealing with for quite some time but just assumed they would have been remedied by now.
I am an Android mobile app user with a Droid that is only one month old and I have the latest Investors Hub app downloaded.
I guess I will just get right to the point and asking the following questions.
1. Why is it that we are incapable of copying and pasting simple text from a post that has already been published?
2. There are many times that someone will send me a link to click on and I click on it and nothing happens whatsoever.
3. Perhaps one of the most perplexing features that the app does not have is the ability for users to upload image files, such as PNG files of simple charts.
4. There is also no way to post in color, highlight or do any text customization.
5. There is no way to modify/edit a draft within the standard 15 minute window allotted to pc users.
I have more questions but I will just leave you at those because those are the most annoying features that I'm having issues with.

Thanks brother. If I remember correctly, that might’ve been one the reasons I stopped using the iPhone app and finally deleted it. Hope they can resolve this issue soon, it’s really annoying :(

I have a question about this iHub app for iphone. I don’t know how to fix this and this is very frustrating. Almost every time I change page, clink on some links, there is a some kind of ad and opens new window there. It happens automatically. I go back and again it takes me to this ad page again.
How I can stop this? It’s frustrating and I am wasting my time with that!!

I have two moto G phones one with 5.1 and the other with 4.4.4. I-hub app works fine on the 5.1 android but am getting the following message on the second phone (have no trouble opening web pages with it):

I deleted and reloaded the app with same result...any ideas?
That is not a bandwidth issue. It happens when your client (browser, app, scripting agent) is requesting pages at a faster-than-normal for a human rate. Your IP gets temporarily blocked. It is self-curing once the request rate drops to a normal level. If you are using more than one device from the same IP address they will all get rate limited.
The typical causes for this are, in no particular order 1) using a local auto-refresh at too high of a frequency, 2) a badly configured scripting agent, 3) a badly configured ad blocker or firewall that puts your browser into a loop, or 4) a badly configured advertisement that puts your browser into a loop.
Next time it happens send me PM the date and time and we will examine the server logs to see if we can identify the cause.
So, how much bandwidth is required to run this site on an iPhone with iOS 11. My network speed tests at 36 Mbps and the I’m getting the new “Limited data connection” orange drop down at the screen top. Interesting that sitting on a message, requesting no new data sees this message occur. Another step backwards!

Typing on a phone is problematic with increased typos. Yet we have no ability to edit our recent posts on mobile. Instead I'm forced to bust out a laptop, assuming I even have one around. Or worse, try to use the desktop site in a mobile browser.
I concur. On the IOS app whenever you submit a new post an extremely annoying sound is played. And there are no user controls for this other than to completely mute your device. The setting you referenced is for notification when receiving not posting.

Open the drop down box to the right of "Sound for New Message Notification".
Select what you want. Note that the selections include "None".
Was referring to the swish sound when a message is posted.. Very annoying and uncontrollable that I have found. Even ignores the phone sound volume.
If you’re talking about the alert sound when you receive a new post or PM, that is controllable by you in Notifications settings, just like every other app.
Well i guess the hub doesn’t care about these apps, pitty...
it would be nice to silence the noise made when a post is submitted, but like most other things here, it ain’t happening!
So now the iOS software requires one to use landscape orientation to see the entire post when using iPad? Why does it hide the right third of the message window? Why can’t the message list be hidden with a swipe left and then up - down arrows be programmed on iPad like on iPhone to charge messages?
There is an update for Android available in the Play Store. iOS should already be working correctly.
Ihub app is broken currently. Cannot view posted messages in full and clicking on an alias to see post history spawns a Web browser pop up.
Confirmed with another user on IOS has same issues. I am on android.

Anyone else tired of the way the iHub iOS app works on the iPad? Screens don't rotate correctly, Layout waste screen space and you have to stare at the message list all the time.
Could probably list more, but too tired... won't change anyway...
I use the "full site" on my Android (same as on a computer), and tonight for the first time in years, having problems. I get some overlapping fields, other obscured, and displaying individual posts often results in a wacky layout, requiring me to scroll down a bit to read the message.
No phone updates recently.
Seems to have started screwing up an hour or so ago.
Thoughts ?
When I use the app on my iPhone lately it's been getting really hot. Things start moving slow and if I click on anything it sort of freezes for a second. Eventually it crashes. It's been happening over and over the last couple of days, I have to kill the app or my phone stays really hot, right around the processor area. Thanks in advance.
