This could go either way. When GM collapsed their common shareholders got nothing. On the other hand I owned shares of Masaba airlines when they folded and recieved refunds from them for several years. It depends on how the "company?" feels about their shareholders. You could try and track down the attorneys handleing HOTJ's liquidation for more direct info. I'm hopeing for the best but expecting the worst (total loss of my investment). There has been no PR or any updates on this that I'm aware of and it could take years to get a final resolve. GLTA. This statement is in my own opinion based on personal experience.
CDC...shareholders now own stock that can never be traded on any Market because HOTJ's registration has been revoked.
so what happens now if you own stock?

New 52-week low 0.0002 was created on 06/06/12! The all time low was 0.0001.
22,222...odd amount isnt it?
Yes, Sir. Up strongly (80%) so far!
In 2009 HOTJ exploded to 0.019 from the all time low 0.0003 within a
day! The current 52-week low/high is 0.0006/0.0037 anyway...
Someone crashed the tiny amount of shares (2K only) at the bid .001!
It is not dead at all! It is a clean shell with huge potential! HOTJ
was up 90% last Friday and will continue to rise in the coming week.
6234% huge rally history which is extremely rare in the OTC world...
0.001 x 0.002 now.
0.001 x 0.0025 now.
0.0008 x 0.0025 now.
0.0006 x 0.0025 now. 405509 shares bought at 0.001 which were dumped at 0.0006 last week!
It is up 66.7% so far! Will HOTJ explode to 0.019 again as it did in
2009?
The OS is 46,458,535 shares vs the AS is 2,000,000,000 (2B) shares!
In 05/2009 HOTJ ever exploded to 0.019 from 0.0003 within one day! It is 63.34-bagger or 6234% huge rally!
The current 52-week low 0.0006 will be broken down very soon due to
the huge selling pressures from the insiders and the weak hands! The
all time low 0.0003 will be tested in the coming days/weeks... Sell!
Who dumped 405,509 shares at the 52-week low 0.0006 today? Why? CHx?
The clean shell hit the 52-week low .0006 again now! 0.0006 x .0025.
0.001 x 0.0025 now. The bid dropped from the previous 0.0014 anyway!
0.0014 x 0.0025 now.
it's just a dead shell unless someone
adopts it.
I agree. It is up 75% so far and may test the top price .019 in 2009
The bid is up 25% from the previous close .0008! 0.001 x 0.0025 now.
The price was up 33.4% yesterday! It would explode to the penny land
as HOTJ did in 2009 from 0.0003 to 0.019.
basically, like you said, all you can do is buy a small
amount, then wait and hope for a reverse merger.
It won't just "go away", as some bk's do, those are thoroughly unregistered (cancelled). This is different, the shell is still registered and will continue to be open for trading.
Still, it could be months/years before a reverse merger into it takes place. It does have an attractive share structure and is clean, which makes it a fairly attractive shell. There is at least some leftover institutional ownership as far as I can tell judging by the past filings and comparing that to the trading volumes since they were remitted, although that is no guarantee in itself. I wouldn't want to encourage anyone to buy this.
Still, I did buy it with trading profits from elsewhere, and accumulating a small portfolio of quality shells is a strategy which often pays off. All you need is one to hit. There is no more explosive play on the stock market than already owning a shell that is acquired by a legitimate company which is going public. Always consider market capitalization when buying shells you want a low floater that will move and can absorb a new company without massive dilution. It will move faster if there is news than a shell with say 400 million shares would. Typically shells sell for as low as 40,000 to as high as 300,000. This market cap now is under 100,000. Market makers will see the o/s and won't be able to make large blocks available, which would slow down the price movement. This was asking 0044 on the little run it had. But the market makers are also not going to support the bid very much, as you can see with the 0009 sell.
Seriously though, if you ever need the money before something happens you are unlikely to get all your money back unless there is a buyer.
Ronnie, I'm interested to know in cases like this (what you have outlined has happened with this company), what are the different scenarios that could happen with this.
After what has been done, can someone just all of a sudden "pull the plug" on the stock? I am pretty clueless legally what actually could be done and what the chances of it happening are.
I have no problem throwing a couple $100 at it and tucking it away for a long time if the events that have unfolded for this sometimes / normally point to something big down the road.
Or is this basically just the same as throwing a dart at a 1000 symbols hoping for the "big one" or walking into a casino?
Appreciate any comments. Always trying to learn different scenarios and pretty clueless with this scenario.
At some point i think i will try calling/writing Aaron Grunfeld, although I'm not expecting that to pay off, he's the last registered contact.. all assets of the company were peacefully possessed by their lender in Jun 2008.
http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1069249/000106924908000009/f8k62508.htm
The stock has survived, and never went "q", it just got delisted off the Nasdaq, straight to pinks.. being an amicable Chapter 7
without any court case.. there was only ONE lender for 11 million, and that lender agreed to assume company inventories.
I cannot find an active listing at Nevada SOS. That is understandable because actually HOTJ as part of its IPO was
part of another corporation called "Global Jewelry Concepts"
which is now defunct at Nevada SOS.
What matters here is that this security was never deregistered.

I've had one shell which was a Chapter 7 get acquired, VOXLQ which is now PALG.
There is a small seller who bought on Wednesday that has some shares for sale at 0015, before he placed his sell the ask was 004's. after Wednesdays buys.
The o/s is only 46m.
It could be months or years before something happens, but when it does, the gains will be enormous, depending on what it becomes.
at .002 it's only 96k mkt cap. Anyone who buys it should be prepared to tuck it away for what could be a long time.
so, what do u think is going to happen, if anything here???? thoughts?
Interesting one Ronnie!!
