Just a restatement of what we already know. They had investment losses of $14.5 million for the year vs. gains of $30.6 million the previous year. They've probably made most of that back the first 2-1/2 months of this year.
Net income for the full year was $20.1 million vs. $37 million for previous year.
There was mixed cause to sell. Could not duplicate or for that matter at least stabilize a repeat performance. Then let us not forget hurricane season is fast approaching. I would predict that even a small sneeze might start a sell off. There is also those who just sell on news regardless.
The highlight was the news broadcasting a $2.3 million loss for the fourth quarter, as compared to making a net income of $6.2 million for the same period of the prior year.
After reading the news. I tend to believe the sell off volume was far from punishing by sell off investors. That kind of news could of brought out a lot worse in my opinion.
