I'll offer yet another excuse- Viva is setting up to be bought out ,merged, partnered, or used by large well known company. That company will handle the advertising. Thats why viva seems to be a bare bones platform...no movie channels, no dvr, etc.. maybe Verizon, they already have hd deals with movie channels , have dvr capability, and now have unlimited data , great for mobile streaming. I have no proof of this, Just hopeful speculation to seemingly endless delays on the hard core launch
