Don't "may be" or "if", show me your design, if you can't then we must assume the amount of Si or QD used in each solar panel of the same wattage output is the same except QD PV cells will be at least twice as efficient.



Why? The physics are completely different. You are conflating two unrelated efficiencies. Conversion efficiency (W solar -> W electricity) is not related to material efficiency (W/g).

Also, you keep bringing up the QD vs. Si 2X conversion efficiency like it's is a given. It's theoretical, and nobody has come anywhere near achieving it.
